I am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki. The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well. If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.

Stunning location! Walked into the lobby and was floored by panoramic views of the cape. The hotel isn't modern or new, but it's well-maintained. Stayed in the tatami room and it's extremely spacious. Opt for the dinner buffet as there aren't lots of dining options unless you drive. Breakfast was full of Western and Japanese options. Oiishi!

I stayed here on a business trip the other day. The location is very good, and it is directly connected to Morioka Station, so it was easy to get around. There are restaurants and convenience stores around the station, so I had no trouble finding something to eat. The room was clean, with a calm atmosphere and was comfortable. The desk space was spacious, and it was an ideal working environment. The free Wi-Fi was also fast enough that I had no problems using it for desk work. The front desk staff were very polite, and check-in and check-out were smooth.

Hotel is around 1km out from Morioka station. Road towards the hotel is really bumpy with a lot of uneven surfaces. If you have heavy luggage or not physically strong enough, I suggest taking a taxi. the rooms are really spacious and value for its money. It’s very near supermarket, shopping district and right smack in the middle of 2 7-11. Right around the corner is the morioka castle. Overall, if you are a light traveller, highly recommend this hotel.

I’ve always wanted to visit Ama after seeing Ama, but Kuji’s hotels often don’t allow online booking. This time I happened to be open for a few days, so I came here to spend a few days. The restaurant on the first floor is good. Guests have discounts and can eat the Ama Set Meal, as well as the sweet and salty meatball soup. Quiet little town, very nice 👍

Hotel is some distance from the train station but it is very clean and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is traditional Japanese and of great quality, given the price. Please expect limited English from the staff present as this is a countryside location.

KKanThe location is good for the family ski holiday with all facilities available for this ski-in/ski-out hotel. The breakfast has a good variety while the dinner options are good especially the Teppanyaki restaurant with the local beef and abalone. The Japanese restaurant was also good with various dishes to choose from. The outdoor onsen at 白樺之湯 really worth the visit after the ski and I’d recommend to enjoy at day time. We have also tried the hotel massage services and it was really good and relaxing! The only thing for improvement is that the room themselves are a bit old and maybe should consider renovations in coming years. The shops have many food and drinks and souvenirs. We also got a big pack of fireworks that we can pay together with kids just outside the hotel on the snow slope. Overall we enjoyed the stay and the slopes and ski school are magnificent!

YYoshimasaIn the natural environment surrounded by mountains and forests, the clear stream behind the inn flows gurgling, healing the body and mind. It is fun to enjoy each of the four hot springs that flow directly from the source, but we especially recommend the deepest hot spring in Japan. This is a self-propelled natural rock bath ”Shirasaru no Yu”. This is a very rare hot spring. Due to its depth, you can stand up to enter, but it is evenly distributed throughout your body. It is said that applying hot water pressure can effectively promote blood circulation. The hall also has a nostalgic atmosphere, as if traveling to the past. The hospitality of the staff is also very attentive. If you have the opportunity to stay in Hanamaki, it is a hotel worth staying in.

GGuest UserGreat location for hikers on the Michinoku Coastal Trail. We booked the stay with dinner and breakfast, and the dinner was an outstanding multi-course kaiseki style meal. The onsen is a great relief after a hard day of hiking too.

GGuest UserI loved my stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely incredible, the room was very spacious with a western style room attached to an 8 tatami tea room, and floor to ceiling windows highlighting the snowy exterior. The onsen with indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic, and most people staying at the hotel wore yukata which gave the whole experience a tranquil vibe. The bus from Morioka goes directly to the hotel. It was a perfect traditional Japanese hotel.

YYujibaohexiangA very satisfying experience. The hotel is very comfortable. I like the design style of the lobby very much. It is warm and grand. The hotel service is great. The room is spacious and bright. In winter, there is snow outside the window. The room is warm as spring. It is also very good to take a hot spring bath in the hotel. There is an outdoor hot spring pool. You can see the stars and snowflakes. The artistic conception is beautiful! The breakfast at the accommodation is very rich and tastes great. The side dishes are very delicate. The afternoon tea is great. There is a performance by an Italian music master during the lounge time from 4:30 to 6:00 in the afternoon. It is very pleasant. It is very close to the ski resort. I ski well every day and take a hot spring bath. It is comfortable~

HHatsuyuki Zhong (Bearbabe)There are fewer hotels in Pingquan City itself. This is a quite retro and Showa-era hotel. Although the appearance is inconspicuous, the service, meals, interiors, etc. have not changed with the past of the times. The only downside is that Pingquan City itself is inconvenient for transportation, so if the hotel will be a little farther away in a tired situation (about 15 minutes), maybe you can contact the hotel to meet you? However, from the hotel to the station, the hotel has a special car transfer, which is very commendable.
