The hotel is in a good location near Quartier Bleu. The room is 16 sq m. The usable area is very good, not cramped. The bathroom is clean and has complete facilities. Better than expected for a hotel at this price. However, it is a bit difficult to find parking.
The hotel is a football hotel. It is a little bit of a walk around the room. The corridor is like a labyrinth, but there is a big football training ground downstairs. It seems to have a game on the weekend. There are many restaurants next to it. The breakfast is very rich.
The hotel is pricey for what it offers. Modern architecture with glass, beautiful hall with a classy Christmas tree and restaurant that fullfil 4 stars. But the king room (more than 200 euro per night ) was like 3 stars max.. Basic interior and materials. Slippers were missing which the receptionist promised to bring but didn't happen. The bathtub was scary, black pieces came out when we turned on the bubble function. After the water drained, we saw what was there...
The swimming pool had a sewer smell where there were holes for water...
Would not return.
Premium looking room. Big TV, mini-fridge, spacious and beautiful bathroom. Welcoming drink on arrival.
Bed mattress is too soft. 2 small pillows are too small and uncomfortable to sleep on and should be replaced for bigger and better ones.
Air conditioning is practically non existent, some noise and not sufficient cooling. When the weather is hot outside, the room is like a sauna and torture to sleep in.
Landing in Brussels, driving here, I didn't expect much, but once I found out that the hotel had a big lake on the back of the hotel, there was a feeling of mountain and water, and there were many wild birds, the environment was very comfortable.
Hotel had already demolished the swimming pool 4 years ago and no more swimming pool!!!??? While when booking it says hotel with swimming pool 🤔🫤😇
As a Trip customer, I don't expect any false information!!!
It was disappointing for my 9-year-old daughter and us as parents🥲
Nice hotel, but on the cheap side. No coffee machine on the room. Well, water cooker, tea and some solvent coffee. Booked via trip.com. Price and booking included breakfast, but at arrival there is no breakfast for that price. Also the confirmation email, which you receive when you have already paid, no comments on a breakfast (or whether it is with or not). Don't give much confidence to book it again via trip.com!
The Hotel Ambiotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Tongeren will find that the Hotel Ambiotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Tongres / Tongeren just 400m away and Liege Airport only 32km away, transportation is very convenient. There's plenty to do nearby, with Hubo Tongeren, Global Art vzw gallery and Sint-Jan-de-Doperkerk all within a short distance. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.

GGeThe hotel has a great location. Very central to all the restaurants. The hotel is clean and the check in process was smooth. The only downside is there’s no parking onsite so you need to find surrounding parking area. We were lucky to find a nearby parking and because it was Sat evening it was free after 6pm and all day Sunday.
Overall a great stay.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was also nice. However, due to its location, it was pretty noisy even at midnight. If you are sensitive to noise, it would be better to avoid this accommodation. But other than that, I am satisfied with this accommodation.
LLansaiVery nice hotel
It is also very cheap, much cheaper than the same grade hotel in Germany, not far from the customer factory, the traffic is convenient
The surrounding environment is not bad
GGuest UserI have get a free upgrade of my room. I have had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel and it was great and also fast. The room was very clean and was very comfortable and modern.
