The location of the hotel is really good. Walking out is the dreamy hillside, next to the train station, and walking up there is a small town supermarket and some small shops. It is also very close to the first Shandong cable car. Although it is a hotel that is more than 100 years old, the infrastructure is also super good, with everything it should have, and the breakfast is also very good.

Nice mountain view from the room, but the room is not big. The hotel located 10 mins walk from the Grindlewald station and 2 mins walk from the First Bahn to go Grindlewald First. The breakfast is nice but it’s only open at 7am hence it’s quite rush if you have early activity which you have to leave the hotel early e.g to go to Jung frau.

The most beautiful place I’ve ever ever been too. So so blessed with clear skies almost everyday during our stay. It’s so worth every dollar spent. I would love to be back again for this magnificent view. You’ll not regret your stay here. Breakfast has a breathtaking view as well! I miss every part of grindelwald.

It’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is not very far, but it’s a little tired if it rains with a suitcase. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the First cable car station, which is very convenient. It is worth mentioning that if you choose to include dinner when booking the hotel, it is really super cost-effective ~ delicious and rich, every day I will seriously post menus everywhere, and I am responsible for saying that this is the level of Fine Dining, such a dinner Any restaurant should be above 120 francs per capita. The restaurant environment is also nothing to say, the service quality is very good ~ excellent experience, rich breakfast, worth the price, super recommended. They also gave home-made potato chips when they left. If it is not enough, it may be that the facilities in the room are average~ but it is very clean, the balcony is facing the mountain, beautiful!

This is an accommodation that made me cry and laugh during my trip to Switzerland :) First of all, if you look at the facilities, it is clean and nice since it was recently opened. There was an elevator and a kitchen available, but there were almost no dishes or appliances. There was no problem with cooking at all. The location is a very far walk from Grindelwald Station, or a short bus ride away. 🌟Throw away the idea of ​​walking with your luggage on the first day.🌟 This is a vertical hike that you can never climb without carrying your luggage. Be sure to check the bus schedule before taking the bus (it's convenient to use the SBB app). Your accommodation will give you a Grindelwald guest card, so you can ride the bus for free. (I had a Jungfrau VIP coupon, so I didn’t use it.) The reasons I cried were: 1) As soon as I arrived, there was no one, so I called and waited for about an hour, but no one answered and didn't come. There were people staying, so I had to wait in the lobby. I had another number on my laptop, so I called, but no one answered. 2) While I was waiting, a man called and asked why I was calling. When I told him I wanted to check in, he said I was fully booked for today, so what did I mean? I told him my reservation number and he said he would understand. Later, he came running in from outside and asked for my passport. Didn't say a single word of apology. (I was very angry here.) Anyway, in conclusion, he said that there was a reservation history on Trip.com but not in his system, so he had me check it and said he would do something about it since there were no rooms available. However, his attitude was not that he was sorry and was trying to do something, but rather that he was annoyed with me. 3) In the end, they gave us our room keys condescendingly, as if they had made it very difficult for us to get a room, and we were very upset that they were sorry for waiting for an hour and that there was no compensation, but we wanted to rest in the room quickly, so we brought the keys up. Obviously, the room I paid for had a terrace on the reservation screen, and I made the reservation with that in mind, so when I went to argue with them, they said that the room I had reserved was that room. (I was told that it was given to me because I had created a room, but when I went down and inquired, I found out that the room was originally assigned...) 4) Then, while showing a picture of the reservation screen on 'Booking.com', he enthusiastically emphasizes that the room may or may not have a terrace. The problem is that I paid through 'Trip.com' and the room type I booked on Trip.com is not available. All photos showed a terrace. When I said that, he got very angry and told me to cancel it for free and to leave if I didn't like it. To be honest, these words sounded very threatening to me, and I was so intimidated by the man's attitude that I was afraid that he might do something to me. I sometimes wonder if they are speaking in such a threatening manner because I am a woman and Asian. [I notified Booking.com's customer service center of my move, and now the reservation screen for the room I selected also includes a photo of a room without a terrace.] Anyway, for this reason, I started my trip to Switzerland very angry and depressed. ㅠ ㅠ This room does not have a terrace and has a tree view, as someone left in a Google review... lol Next time I go again, I think I'll just choose the room one level up because I'm worried about getting this room. Very quiet and beautiful hotel. It is very convenient if you drive by yourself, but it may be a bit hard to walk if you drag your luggage by yourself. I like the balcony outside the room the most. As soon as you open the door, you can see the snow-capped mountains opposite. The breakfast is also great and the service is very good.

The hotel is a four-star hotel, the waiters are dressed in traditional clothes, the breakfast is delicious, and the coffee is very good. There is a free snack in the afternoon, but the drinks are paid. The hotel is located inside, some distance from the railway station, and it is Panshan Road. If you carry the suitcase, it is best to take the bus or contact the hotel in advance.
