Sorry, Jingdezhen — I Fell for This Smaller Town Instead 🏮

3 days · 2 nights · Wuyuan, Jiangxi · a National Geographic pick Fish-shaped lanterns drift through Xiangao's old lanes. Up in Huangling, white walls and black tiles stack the hillside, and chilli, corn and persimmons dry on the rooftops in the sun. Every turn looks painted. Wuyuan in autumn is Chinese romance without trying — quieter than the porcelain capital, and somehow fuller. 🚗 Getting there High-speed rail to Wuyuan Station → 10 min taxi to Xiangao City → 40 min taxi on to Huangling. (Show drivers the Chinese names: 弦高城 / 篁岭.) The 3 days Day 1 · Xiangao — check into a old-town guesthouse → Sinkhole Library → Fairytale Valley → Huancui Hall & Jinying Garden → Wangjiawu heritage-workshop village → Forest Wonder Night → Panlong Castle → the "First Tower over Creek and Hill" Day 2 · Xiangao → Huangling — Xihudang market street → Cheng family courtyard → drive up to Huangling Day 3 · Huangling — Shaiqiu Square → Wuguitang drying square → the drying-viewing terrace → Photo Bar, 3F → "Come Dry Your Nostalgia" cottage 📷 Xiangao, don't miss · Sinkhole Library — a real-life Hogwarts in a natural pit, with playful little photo installs · Huancui Hall — a Ming-dynasty Hui-style garden where live performances unfold between pavilions; you're inside the painting · Wangjiawu — old village houses full of intangible-heritage crafts; after dark, lanterns, parades and night shows wake the whole lane up · Forest Wonder Night — lights on, fairy-tale mode on · Panlong Castle — the high point, looking down over the entire old town · Xihudang — the smoky market street below: eat as you wander 🍂 Huangling, and when to go for what Shaiqiu — "sun-drying": crops laid out on rooftops, the thing the village is famous for. ▪ Sun-drying · early Aug – mid Dec ▪ Maples · Nov – Dec ▪ Persimmons · mid Oct – mid Jan ▪ Ginkgo · mid Nov – early Dec Best light is late afternoon on the drying terraces. Go slow, look up a lot, and let the lanes decide the route. 🍁 ChinaTravel #Wuyuan #Huangling #Jiangxi #AutumnInChina #Shaiqiu #HiddenGem #HuiArchitecture #SlowTravel #TripMoments

7 autumn highlights in Shaanxi: how many have you visited? — traveler post in Yan'an

7 autumn highlights in Shaanxi: how many have you visited?

The autumn wind crosses the Qinling Mountains, sweeping across the Loess Plateau and Bashan Mountains, dividing Shaanxi's autumn into three styles: Northern Shaanxi is vast and majestic, Guanzhong has a classic charm, and Southern Shaanxi is filled with vibrant forests. These 7 autumn viewing treasures gather Danxia landforms, the Yellow River, ginkgo trees, seas of clouds, and canyon red leaves. See how many you have visited! 🏞️ Jingbian Wave Valley Autumn sunlight spills over the red Danxia landforms, with layered rock textures resembling waves flowing across the earth. A pool of water is hidden within the canyon. Stroll along the wooden boardwalk to experience the rock walls, sculpted by millions of years of weathering, up close—majestic and unique. 🌊 Hukou Waterfall The Yellow River is at its most impressive in autumn, with hundreds of meters of golden waterfalls rushing down and mist rising into the air. Standing on the bank, you can truly appreciate the saying "The thousand-mile Yellow River gathered in one pot," feeling the majestic, surging power of the great river—it is truly breathtaking. 🏯 Tang Da Ci'en Temple Relics Park The top choice for autumn vibes in Guanzhong! Hundreds of ginkgo trees reach their peak viewing period, with golden leaves drifting down beside the eaves of ancient buildings. With ancient bricks paired with yellow leaves, strolling through the forest as leaves rustle, it feels like traveling back to an autumn scene in Chang'an in a second. ⛰️ Taibai Mountain National Forest Park Autumn spreads layer by layer across the mountains. The lower slopes are a mix of yellow and green, while the higher elevations are slowly dyed orange and crimson. Looking out from the heights, clouds surge like an ocean, and alpine lakes are as clear as mirrors. Fir and red birch trees sway in the wind, combining the grandeur of high mountains with the gentleness of an autumn forest. 🌲 Jinsi Canyon Shedding the deep green of midsummer, the branches slowly bloom with golden hues. In the canyon, clear springs trickle into turquoise pools, the air is fresh, and it is full of negative oxygen ions. Stroll along the waterside boardwalk to immerse yourself in the quiet, slow autumn of the canyon. 🍁 Hanzhong Liping Scenic Area ✅ Best time for autumn viewing: Mid-October – November The colorful forests of Hongchen Canyon are like fire, with maple waterfalls cascading down. Red maples are reflected in the turquoise pools. After the rain clears, clouds wrap around the peaks, creating a scene at every step—it is like being in a secret autumn mountain paradise from an oil painting. ⛰️ Nangong Mountain A representative of autumn scenery in the Bashan Mountains! The peaks are covered in colorful forests, with red leaves blanketing the mountains, and mist swirling between strange peaks and ancient temples. The suspended boardwalk weaves through the colorful forest; look up to see the vibrant mountains, look down to see the sea of clouds and valleys—it is a great experience for hiking. 💡 Travel tips Northern Shaanxi has a large temperature difference between day and night, so remember to pack a thick jacket; Guanzhong occasionally experiences autumn rain; Southern Shaanxi is mountainous and rainy, so it is recommended to bring lightweight waterproof gear. The autumn in the Sanqin region is more than just ancient capitals and historical sites; there are so many beautiful mountain and water autumn landscapes. Which one have you visited? Let's chat in the comments section~

Recommending a hidden gem that is absolutely stunning! — traveler post in Yan'an

Recommending a hidden gem that is absolutely stunning!

I'd like to recommend a hidden gem that is absolutely stunning: Longbagou in Ganquan Grand Canyon. Unlike the popular Huashugou, there are fewer tourists here, and the pristine atmosphere is fully immersive. Millions of years of water erosion have carved out wavy red sandstone. Sunlight filters down through the crevices, causing the rock walls to shift in rich colors. Immerse yourself in the geological wonders of the Loess Plateau. 🚗 Transportation Guide For self-driving, navigate to the Ganquan Grand Canyon Visitor Center. It takes about 1.5 hours from Yan'an city center and 3.5–4 hours from Xi'an. Parking is CNY 10 per visit. For public transport, it is recommended to take the high-speed train to Ganquan North Station and then carpool to the scenic area. The various canyons are far apart, and private cars cannot reach the canyon entrances directly; you must take the scenic area shuttle. 🗺️ Itinerary (One-Day Highlights) Ticket check at the Visitor Center > Take the scenic area shuttle to the canyon entrance and prioritize visiting Longbagou. The canyon is long, narrow, and winding. Some sections are tight and require walking sideways. There is occasional standing water at the bottom. The round-trip hike takes about 2 hours, making it suitable for those who enjoy adventure and photography. If you have limited energy, you can walk halfway and turn back. If you have plenty of time, you can also visit Mudangou and Yixiantian (A Glimpse of the Sky) on the way, then take the shuttle back to the Visitor Center. ⚠️ Key Tip: On sunny days, 11:00 AM–2:00 PM is the golden hour for lighting. Only when the midday sun shines directly into the canyon floor can you see the stunning light and shadow effects. The scenery is significantly less impressive on cloudy days. 🎫 Ticket Information There is no separate ticket for Longbagou. You must purchase the scenic area package, which costs CNY 168 including admission and the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus is mandatory. The package is valid for 2 days and allows for re-entry. It is recommended to book online in advance. Visitors aged 65 and over are exempt from the admission fee and only need to purchase the shuttle bus ticket; remember to bring your original ID. The scenic area stops admitting visitors at 3:00 PM, so try to arrive early. 💡 Travel Tips The canyon floor is damp year-round and covered in moss, so be sure to wear non-slip shoes. The temperature inside the canyon is relatively low, so bring a light jacket. In case of heavy rain, the scenic area will temporarily close, so check the weather before you travel. There are limited dining options around the scenic area, so you may want to bring some simple snacks and drinking water.

Recommending a hidden gem that is absolutely stunning

📍Must-visit spot: Ganquan Grand Canyon · Longbagou | City: Ganquan, Yan'an In the golden month of October, you must come to the depths of the Loess Plateau to see this Danxia slot canyon that rivals Antelope Canyon! 😍 It is truly, truly stunning! 🍂 [Why October is the best time to visit Longbagou] The autumn air is crisp, there is less rain, and the chance of sunny days is higher ☀️! Sunlight pours down through the gaps at the top of the canyon, dyeing the wavy red rocks in warm orange and golden hues. The layered, ring-like textures of the canyon walls flow under the play of light and shadow, making every photo look like an oil painting 🎨. There are shallow pools of water at the bottom of the valley 💧, reflecting the light beams and red rocks, creating an incredible atmosphere. The trees above the canyon are tinged with autumn colors, and the valley is warm and quiet. October temperatures are comfortable, not muggy like midsummer, making for an excellent hiking experience 🥾! 📜 [Highlights of Longbagou] Longbagou is 2,500 meters long. It is a loop route, so you do not have to backtrack, and the whole trip takes about 2 hours 👣. The sides are made of red sandstone formed by millions of years of water erosion. The canyon path varies in width, and at its narrowest point, you can only pass through sideways. The rock walls are wavy and curled, like frozen red ocean waves 🌊. There is also the "Kiss of a Millennium" feature 💏. It is full of primitive, wild charm and is the most adventurous canyon in Ganquan Grand Canyon! 🚗 [Travel guide] ▪️Transportation: Driving is recommended 🚙. Navigate to the Ganquan Grand Canyon Visitor Center. You can also charter a car from Xi'an/Yan'an. You cannot drive into the canyon yourself; taking the scenic shuttle bus is mandatory~ ▪️Ticket package: Admission is 98 + shuttle bus 70. Be sure to book online in advance 📱 and bring your ID to enter the park. ▪️Opening hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Entry stops at 3:00 PM! ✨Best time for photos: Sunny days from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. Sunlight shines directly into the canyon, providing the best light and shadow effects 📸. ⚠️ [October travel tips] 1. The bottom of the canyon is damp and has water, so be sure to wear non-slip sneakers 👟. Do not wear white sneakers, as they are easy to get wet and slippery. 2. The temperature inside the canyon is lower than outside. It is recommended to bring a light jacket for autumn 🧥. 3. Check the weather forecast! The scenic area will temporarily close on rainy days, as sandstone is high-risk when wet 🌧️. 4. The sandstone walls are very fragile. Do not touch them with your hands to protect the Danxia landform 🙅. 5. You can combine this with a visit to Mudangou to check off two canyons in one trip 🤩~ Even little boys are coming here to hike and check it off their list, so what are you waiting for? Save this guide and get going! 💨

Ganquan Grand Canyon (Yucha) Autumn Travel Guide — traveler post in Yan'an

Ganquan Grand Canyon (Yucha) Autumn Travel Guide

In autumn, the rock walls of Ganquan Grand Canyon take on richer red and orange hues. On sunny days at noon, sunlight cuts into the crevices, creating shifting light and shadows. It is known as the "Antelope Canyon of China." ✨Best season: September–October; prioritize sunny days! ⏰Golden photo hours: 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. Sunlight shines directly into the canyon floor, creating stunning Tyndall effect light beams. ⚠️Avoid visiting during or right after rain: The canyon may close temporarily, the floor becomes muddy, and there is no light, making the trip a waste. 📍How to explore the canyon (must-visit ravines) The scenic area requires taking the shuttle bus. Private cars cannot enter the ravines. The ticket package includes admission + shuttle bus; the shuttle bus is mandatory. 1. Birch Ravine (Huashugou) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Top choice for photography The highlight of the entire canyon, with the most beautiful rock ripples. The last 300 meters offer the best scenery. The light and shadows at noon are stunning, though it is also the most crowded. The path is relatively flat and suitable for all ages. 2. Peony Ravine (Mudangou) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Less crowded, great for portraits Less crowded than Birch Ravine, with fewer tourists. It features a natural heart-shaped opening, perfect for silhouettes. Takes about 50 minutes to explore. 3. Longba Ravine (Longbagou) ⭐⭐⭐ | Primitive Long, narrow, and deep, covered in moss. The narrowest point is only a few centimeters wide, requiring you to turn sideways and bend over in some sections. It is physically demanding. Check if it is open on the day of your visit. Travel tips: Prioritize Birch Ravine (aim for the 11:00 AM–2:00 PM light), then visit Peony Ravine. If you have extra time, visit Longba Ravine. The entire trip takes about half a day; allow about 4 hours. 🗓Itinerary reference 👉One-day trip (departing from Xi'an) Drive from Xi'an to Ganquan Grand Canyon Visitor Center (approx. 3.5–4 hours). Arrive early, reach Birch Ravine around 11:00 AM to capture the light and shadows. After exploring the ravines, return in the afternoon. Note: The one-day itinerary is tight; try to depart early. 👉Two-day leisurely trip (recommended) Day 1: Drive from Xi'an to Xiasiwan Town and check into a homestay. Spend the afternoon exploring the surroundings and resting. Day 2: Enter the scenic area early, catch the golden light at noon, and immerse yourself in the canyon. You can visit nearby attractions on your way back in the afternoon. 🚗Transportation guide 1. Driving (recommended) Navigation: Ganquan Grand Canyon Visitor Center. About 3.5–4 hours from Xi'an, about 1.5 hours from Yan'an city center. Road conditions are good; suitable for sedans. 2. Public transportation Take the high-speed train to Ganquan North Station. It takes about 40 minutes by taxi from the station to the visitor center. Getting a taxi for the return trip can be difficult, so it is recommended to keep a driver's contact information. 🏡Accommodation & dining Most accommodations around the scenic area are Northern Shaanxi farm-style homestays; there are no high-end hotels. It is best to stay in Xiasiwan Town, which is close to the scenic area. ✅Recommendation: Ganquan Yucha Grand Canyon - Wang Family Courtyard. You can stay in a cave dwelling. The owner can cook local home-style lamb dishes. Parking is convenient, and it is driver-friendly. 🍜Must-try Northern Shaanxi flavors: Northern Shaanxi stewed lamb, yellow rice cake, buckwheat noodles (he-le), and shredded potato stir-fry (yangyu chacha); Reminder: There are very few dining options inside the scenic area; you may want to bring simple snacks and drinking water. 📷Clothing & gear (autumn essentials) 1. Shoes are the most important! The canyon floor is often muddy and wet. Wear non-slip sneakers or rain boots. Do not wear white sneakers or high heels. Shoe covers are available for rent on-site. 2. Clothing: Layer up! It is a few degrees cooler inside the canyon than outside. Northern Shaanxi is very cold in the morning and evening. Wear a light jacket during the day and bring a windbreaker. 3. Photography outfits: Solid colors! Off-white, black, or caramel. Avoid flashy patterns; solid colors complement the red sandstone walls better. 4. Keep your backpack small. Many parts of the canyon are narrow, and large bags can get stuck. A phone's wide-angle lens is sufficient for great photos. Use a tripod with caution due to limited space. 5. Do not touch the rock walls. The sandstone is fragile, and oils from your hands can permanently damage the walls. ⚠️Tips to avoid pitfalls 1. Be sure to book your ticket package online in advance; do not go directly to the site. The park may close temporarily during rain or snow. Check the weather forecast and scenic area announcements before departing. 2. Only visit the open ravines. Do not enter unauthorized canyons on your own. Mobile signal is poor, and it is very dangerous. 3. During holidays, try to enter the park as early as 8:00 AM to avoid crowds. The light is best at noon, but it is also the most crowded time. 4. Tickets are valid for 2 days. For re-entry, you only need to pay for the shuttle bus. This is suitable for photographers who want to capture different lighting over two days.

Jingbian Wave Valley CNY 90 admission, the flaming Danxia sunset is even more photogenic — traveler post in Yan'an

Jingbian Wave Valley CNY 90 admission, the flaming Danxia sunset is even more photogenic

Friends, I finally set foot on the red sandstone known as China’s Mars. [Attraction] Wave Valley is in Longzhou town, Jingbian county, Yulin, Shaanxi. It is a red sandstone Danxia landform carved by millions of years of wind and water into layered, wave-like patterns. The park has three core areas — Flaming Danxia, Red Cliff Danxia, and Inner-earth Danxia — and is nicknamed China’s Mars. [Culture] The Longzhou area is where the Loess Plateau of northern Shaanxi meets Danxia topography. Locals call this red rock "hongsha mao" (red sand ridge). Yanjia Fort village is the site of an old rammed-earth fortress. The Danxia formed from ancient lake deposits in Jingbian and is a textbook geological outcrop. [Location] South of Wuyang Road, Longzhou town, Jingbian county, Yulin city, Shaanxi province (navigate to "Shaanxi Wave Valley Scenic Area Visitor Center"). [Navigation] Navigate to "Shaanxi Wave Valley Scenic Area Visitor Center" — don’t search for unofficial spots. By car: from Xi’an about 4.5–5 hours, from Yulin about 1.5–2 hours. High-speed rail to Jingbian station plus a carpool is CNY 30 per person for a 30-minute drive to the park. There are no direct shuttle buses from the county seat. [Tickets] Peak season (April–October) adult CNY 90 (includes the glass scenic bridge); low season (November–March) CNY 60. Students half price CNY 45; free for visitors 65 and older and for children under 1.2 m. The sightseeing shuttle is required inside the park. The glass bridge is included in admission. The escalator is optional for CNY 15. The Inner-earth Danxia off-road experience is optional CNY 80–120 per ride. [Routes] Large loop 3–4 hours: entrance → glass scenic bridge → Flaming Danxia Liubotai → Red Cliff Danxia → time tunnel → Inner-earth Danxia narrow passage → kilometer gallery → Yanjia Fort → Huishou Bridge (sunset spot) → exit. Short loop 1 hour: entrance → glass bridge → Flaming Danxia → split viewing platform → return, suitable for elderly and children. [Experience] Before sunset, the Flaming Danxia’s rock faces turn golden-red and the ripples look like frozen waves. Wear white or light blue for the best photos; avoid red. At noon, the Inner-earth Danxia narrow passage creates Tyndall light when sunlight streams in. The water Danxia reflects red rock and blue water; drones can capture aerial shots. [Impression] We entered the park at 3 PM with friends and caught the Flaming Danxia sunset. When the red rock ignited in color, phones wouldn’t stop shooting. It looks wilder than in photos. [Tips] Don’t take the "8 km shortcut" recommended by villagers — it’s easy to get stuck after rain. Do not buy "discount tickets" sold by villagers — they are invalid. UV is strong in northern Shaanxi; hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential. Do not step on the rock surfaces — the landforms are fragile and violators will be fined. Buy the sightseeing shuttle — there is a lot of walking inside the park. [Food] Jingbian stewed mutton soup is fresh and tender (Lao Zhou Mutton Restaurant). Try chopped mutton with buckwheat noodles or handmade noodles topped with air-dried mutton sauce. Sea buckthorn yogurt CNY 7 a cup helps cut the richness. [Lodging] Yaodong guesthouses or farm stays in Longzhou town cost CNY 100–180 in low season (best for sunrise, some include transfers); chain hotels in Jingbian county cost CNY 200–400 and are more family friendly. [Nearby] In Jingbian county: Tongwan city (ancient Xiongnu city ruins) and the Danxia around Longzhou; head south to link with the Yan’an red tourism route, or go north to Yulin Red Stone Gorge. Jingbian Wave Valley

Morning: Wanrong Houtu Temple (Qiufeng Tower) | Afternoon: Feiyun Tower | Evening: Head to Jiezhou, stay near Jiezhou Guandi Temple. Day 6 Morning: Jiezhou Guandi Temple | Afternoon: Ruicheng Yongle Palace, Guangrenwang Temple | Evening: Arrive in downtown Yuncheng, stay in Yanhu District. Day 7 One-day tour of downtown Yuncheng Salt Lake: Yuncheng Museum, Gu Street, Catholic Church, Chishen Temple, Highway 006 photo spot. Return the car near the airport, Yuncheng Yanhu Airport → Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. If you don't do these 3 things, your travel experience will be greatly diminished: 1️⃣ Don't forget a telephoto/teleconverter lens Shanxi's ancient architecture hides a wealth of exquisite details; the roof beasts, caisson ceilings, and hanging sculptures are all incredibly beautiful. However, due to the height of the buildings and cultural relic protection, you often can't get close. Bringing a teleconverter lens is the only way to bring those complex and delicate patterns up close to capture them. I forgot to bring my lens to Xiaoxitian in Xi County, and I still consider it a small regret of this trip. 2️⃣ Don't self-drive without planning your route The ancient architecture in Shanxi is very scattered. Even within the same city, traveling between different counties and towns can take one to two hours. Unless the attractions are very close to each other, try not to schedule more than 2 spots in one day. 3️⃣ Don't skip hiring a guide Even if you've done your homework in advance, I highly recommend hiring a guide. The architectural logic, the Buddhist and Taoist stories behind the murals and sculptures—many of the true highlights of the attractions need a professional guide to explain them in detail. You can no longer climb the Feihong Pagoda at Guangsheng Temple, but our guide shared real photos of the glazed caisson ceiling with us. At Xiaoxitian, facing the niches filled with gods and Buddhas, it was also thanks to the guide that I understood the stories of the sculptors and the concept of the "Five Buddhas in One Hall." It helps you understand the blend of heavenly atmosphere and human life.

Nvwa Mountain | Pingli's sacred Zhonghuang Mountain, a hidden hiking spot to explore Nvwa culture

Pingli's Nvwa Mountain, historically known as Zhonghuang Mountain, is said to be the place where Nvwa rested after mending the sky with stones. It is often said, "In the north, there is the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor; in the south, there is Nvwa Mountain." The entire mountain is lush with trees, and the summit offers expansive views, allowing you to overlook the Qinba Mountains. It features ancient temple ruins, as well as sea-of-clouds sunrises. Hukou Waterfall tourist area of the Yellow River

📍 Shanxi Side (Ji County, Linfen City) – For a breathtaking and immersive experience. Terrain: Low-lying, the viewing platform is almost touching the water's surface, allowing for a level or even upward view of the waterfall, providing a close-up perspective. Best time: Go in the morning; you can see a rainbow when the sun is out. 🌈 Key attractions: A powerful sense of awe and the spray of water. Special experience: Dragon Cave (approximately 20 RMB/person, children over 1.2m pay the same price as adults). Descend to the bottom of the waterfall and look up to experience the ultimate awe-inspiring feeling of "the Yellow River flowing from the sky." 📍 Shaanxi side (Yichuan County, Yan'an City) – For panoramic views and grandeur Terrain: Located diagonally above the waterfall, the high elevation offers an extremely wide view, perfect for taking stunning landscape photos. Best time: Go at noon; you can see a rainbow when the sun is out. 🌈 Note: You may get splashed by the spray on this side. Key attractions: Overlooking the entire Yellow River, witnessing the spectacular sight of the river suddenly narrowing from its wide surface and plunging into the ten-mile-long Dragon Gorge, creating a grand composition.

Baota Mountain

Because we had children with us, we opted to take the sightseeing bus up and down, which was very relaxing. We got a close look at the pagoda, took photos, and learned about its history, especially the plaques at the north and south gates: "Soaring high above the heavens, overlooking the mortal world"—for over 1000 years, the pagoda has achieved this.

Ganquan Canyon

I visited Ganquan Grand Canyon during the National Day holiday, avoiding the crowds at major cities and tourist attractions. It was a less crowded but still excellent experience! Recommended by China National Geographic magazine, definitely worth a visit! It's chilly and damp inside the canyon, so be sure to wear a thick coat. I wouldn't recommend coming in winter; it would probably be too cold.

The Mausoleum of Yellow Emperor

The scenic area was larger than I expected. I went on the seventh day of the National Day holiday, and surprisingly, it wasn't too crowded, considering it's in a county town. But as descendants of the Yellow Emperor, having come all the way to Yan'an, I figured I should at least see it. The scenic area is half modern architecture and half historical sites, especially the several thousand-year-old cypress trees and some inscriptions by famous figures. The two Yellow Emperor Temples, one ancient and one modern, each have their own unique characteristics and are definitely worth seeing. However, there's one thing I really want to complain about: Didi (a ride-hailing app) is completely banned in Huangling County. You have to hail a taxi on the roadside, and the only ones you can find are very old-fashioned taxis—old and smelly. The drivers don't use meters and even share rides. But I don't want to complain about any of that because it's practically impossible to hail a taxi. It's impossible to find a car near the hotel or the scenic area entrance. I waited for over ten minutes before finally getting one, and I almost missed my train. You can't be picky. People say Didi disrupts market order, but in my opinion, it's precisely because there's no market competition that the travel experience in Huangling is so terrible. This problem really needs to be addressed.

Yangjialing Revolutionary Site

From a historical perspective, both Yangjialing and Zaoyuan were important locations for the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) during the Yan'an period, carrying profound historical memories. However, they differ in details. Yangjialing is renowned as the cradle of revolutionary spirit and a witness to many important historical events; while Zaoyuan is known for its garden-like environment and its status as an important base for national revolutionary tradition education. Furthermore, Yangjialing and Zaoyuan differed in the location of their administrative offices and the revolutionary tasks they undertook. Yangjialing was the former site of all the CPC Central Committee's administrative offices, undertaking the important tasks of commanding the anti-Japanese war and the War of Liberation behind enemy lines, leading the Great Production Movement and the Rectification Movement; while Zaoyuan was the former site where the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee moved from Yangjialing, primarily undertaking tasks such as leading the entire Party in the Rectification Movement and the Great Production Movement in the liberated areas, and preparing for the Seventh National Congress of the CPC.

Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall

The Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall was founded in January 1950. The original site was at the Nanguan Exchange Office. It is one of the earliest revolutionary memorial halls established after the founding of the People's Republic of China. In 1954, it moved to the former site of the CPC Central Committee in Yangjialing and was named "Yan'an Museum". In 1955, it moved to the revolutionary site at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain in the city and was renamed "Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall". In June 1973, it moved to its current site in Wangjiaping. A red plaque hangs above the main entrance of the exhibition hall, with the name of the hall written by Guo Moruo when he visited Yan'an in 1971. The Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall is an important base for educating the masses on patriotism, revolutionary traditions and the Yan'an spirit. In December 2016, the Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall was included in the list of national red tourism classic scenic spots.

Back To Yanan

The performance of "Back to Yan'an" was truly breathtaking! From the moment I stepped into the theater, I was enveloped in an immersive atmosphere. The stage design was magnificent and grand, and the sound, light, and electricity were perfectly coordinated, making me feel as if I had truly traveled back to that passionate era. The actors' performances were phenomenal, their emotions sincere and full of emotion, especially that scene… [add a specific detail, such as "a group scene of soldiers charging forward"], which brought tears to my eyes. The plot was tight and fast-paced, possessing both historical weight and dramatic tension. The service was also very attentive, with excellent guidance, and the performance was excellent value for money. This was not just a performance, but a spiritual and emotional cleansing. I highly recommend it to everyone; it's absolutely worth the ticket price!

Nanniwan Scenic Area

This is the birthplace of China's military reclamation and agricultural reclamation. It is built by the mountains and rivers. The attractions here include the Thousand Mu Rice Field with a history of more than 70 years, the Party Emblem Square, Taobao Valley, the Wetland Park, the Great Production Memorial Hall, and the former site of the Central Administration Bureau Cadre Rest Home. [星R] We mainly went to the Thousand Mu Rice Field (Figures 1-3). The weather was very good today. The blue sky and white clouds matched the green rice fields and it was really a good photo! The Wetland Park (Figures 4-5) also has good scenery. There are some rafting and boating entertainment projects, which are more suitable for picnics and relaxation with friends on weekends. Due to time constraints, we could only visit the Great Production Memorial Hall in a hurry. It was the first time to experience viewing the exhibition in a wheelchair [笑泣R] Figures 9 and 10 are the scenes of Nanniwan last autumn.
