The tour was really interesting, not only could we taste a lot of traditional food from Bologna, we could also learn about the history of the city and how the foods were produced (how is balsamic vinegar made, what different cuts are in Mortadella, what is the meaning behind the shape of Tortellini etc.).

Roberta was an excellent tour leader. She shared many facts about the food of the region and took us to some excellent dining experiences. The pasta was delicious and the gelato at the end of the tour was by far the best we’ve had on our trip. Overall a great experience that will certainly have us wanting to visit Bologna again in the future.
