Clean and safe hotel near the airport. Very basic, but has everything you need. The water heater is a bit old, but everything else is super clean and well maintained. Good for one night stays. 7-11 nearby, Amazon cafe, and local food just downstairs. The location is very basic though, so you need a car or taxi, there is no walking path.
This place is a gem! Clean rooms, nice bathroom, great wifi (on my second stay it improved a lot). I would recommend this place to anyone, I did two (1) night stays here when I was waiting to catch a ferry or flight and both times I enjoyed my stay here! Would be good for couples or families as there is a cafe inside the hotel. 7-11 nearby within walking distance. No complaints from me in this place. Will stay here again in the future.
The pool is beautiful, makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The hotel is a little unloved/dated but the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Aside from a Lotus shopping mall across the road and a bigger Central Plaza Mall five mins drive away there isn’t really much else around but as we were only here for one night before a transfer to Khao Sok it was fine and at £17 a night couldn’t really complain. Found an amazing restaurant a couple of minutes walk away and sat outside and had ‘hot pot’ with some local residents. The breakfast was the only downside, the food was left uncovered so it was cold and had flies around it.
This hotel is very spacious. The privacy is very good, the room is spacious, the bathroom is spacious, and the service is good.
But I want to wipe my hair with a hairdryer and a small towel
We stayed here and n 25/04/2024
This resort catered for local thai people, all writings are in thai including the resort name
Bfast also all thai local breakfast.
Resort stay prices is also for local thai. Not expensive.
Only thing to complain is the toilet.
The shower is in a fix position. So when on the water, sprayed all over including the area outside of the water catchment area.
Which is dangerous ( slippery ) for seniors like me.
The manager in charge should looks into this matter.
Thank you.

The room was spacious but a bit dusty, as if the cleaning wasn’t very thorough. Still, overall cleanliness was acceptable. The atmosphere was lovely with a beautiful view. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious—don’t miss the breakfast!
However, the location is quite difficult to reach as the resort is on a hill. The road is dark at night, and there’s nothing much around the hotel
I booked the pool villa. The villa itself is gorgeous and clean. The space is huge! View from the bedroom in the morning is lovely.
However it was the rainy season so I couldn’t check out the gym. The breakfast buffet was normal. Location wise it was far from the main beach but they provide shuttle van at some certain timings.
I would be happy to leave a positive review of Cocohut Beach Resort & SPA, but with a small caveat. First of all, I would like to note that the attention to cleanliness, comfort and service here is truly top notch. I would give them 5 points for cleanliness: the rooms and common areas are in perfect order, which creates a feeling of comfort and care for guests. The service is also captivating - the staff is polite, responsive and always ready to help, which makes the holiday truly enjoyable. The amenities in the hotel did not disappoint, offering everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
However, speaking of the location, I would give 4 points. The fact is that the beach that the hotel overlooks was not as attractive as I expected. The entrance to the water is quite shallow, but this creates some inconvenience due to the presence of algae and stones on the bottom, which may disappoint swimming enthusiasts. Despite this, it should be noted that there are many other magnificent beaches on the island that can fully compensate for this shortcoming.
Overall, Cocohut Beach Resort & SPA is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to my friends given all the positive experiences I had there.
The hotel is very quite. I’m feel private Because near the forest, there are a lot of mosquitoes. We have to bring our own mosquito repellent balm and ointment. I went to buy it at convenience store because I got the brand that I use regularly. The room is a single unit, quiet and peaceful, but the room looks a bit old. The good thing is that you are in the middle of nature, very quiet. The sea and beach view are good.
Very Good

GGuest UserThe view is Amazing !! Nice view to the océan
The room is big …
But a Little be fare from the street if you dont drive a scooter (Like me) it cost 9€ GO and 9€ back just to go out …
the food for dinner nice but prices of the spa and dinner Little bit excessive .. they forget we are in thailand ! Is cheaper to take a Grab GO and back and take dinner and do massage outside, in the city

MMarielleeGarrya Tonsay Bay was a beautiful and peaceful oasis on Koh Samui! We stayed for a couple of nights and loved the variety of included activities, from morning yoga and Muay Thai to circuit classes, paddle boarding, and snorkeling—all very well organized. The restaurant was excellent; we enjoyed the ”Taste of Northern Thailand” dinner, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommend this relaxing retreat!
VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted.
Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio.
Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet.
Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.
Mme.monThe hotel is in a good location, in the middle of the bar street, but there is no noise when you enter the hotel. The entrance is a bit narrow, so it would be a bit troublesome to drive there. There are few parking spaces, but the hotel staff will help manage it.
The room is clean, with a large amount of water. Snacks will be placed after cleaning every day. The bed is so comfortable to sleep in💤 Especially the pillow perfume, it is easy to fall asleep after spraying 💖
The hotel has some activities every day, yoga, Pilates or some small handicrafts can be participated in for free, most of the time in the morning
But there is free ice cream every day, and the cherry-flavored ice cream is really delicious! Must eat! ! !
The hotel service is super good! Every waiter takes good care of the guests💕
The only pity is that I didn’t have breakfast, it must be a lot, I will stay a few more days next time☺️
GGuest UserWe had a great stay at Kupu Kupu. It would be nice if the hotel could also offer complimentary water at the pool in the high temperatures. The pool was not cooled and the water was very very warm. Here and there the cleanliness could be better. It was a nice stay, but in the price category you can at least expect this. Thank you!
JJaAei BBeautiful, comfortable accommodation on a private island. In a nice villa with a private swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. The area around the hotel was calm and shady. The beach in front of the school is private. But you can still see the surrounding view and have a delicious breakfast with both A la carte and food lines. The variety of options is good. The wait staff are very helpful and helpful. Long Tai Restaurant has Michelin Selected food with strong flavors. Thai people definitely like it. The view from the restaurant is very good.
Convenient transportation from the airport, not very far distance.
GGuest UserNice resort but can do with some reservations.
Amenities can be improved too as what is offered is below its own concept standards.
Only 2 bath towels provided, adding hand or face towels would be good.
No pool towels in the plunge pool room, having it would be nice.
Umbrella is damaged so can’t use it properly, room maid should check these things.
Only 2 pillows provided, having 4 pillows would be nice so each person can have 2 pillows for comfort sleeping.
Rooms with Plunge pool should have its own on/off switch for guests to operate instead of having to call reception to turn it on every time we need to use it.
The water flow in the bathroom shower and wash basin is not consistently flowing with pressure, it low and high water pressure.

SShengshimeiyanThe resort is on Lamai Beach, and the hotel is almost full of Europeans, especially French and Germans, and few Chinese. The deepest feeling is that the road inside the resort is very tortuous. If you go at night, although there are lights, you will be a little scared. The room is still the old-fashioned bathtub with shower, which means you need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The hotel has its own rental motorcycle, renting one of the cheapest is 250 baht, but the resort bill shows 50 baht, and the other 200 baht should be paid to the rental car company, so the front desk handwritten a receipt for reimbursement when checking out. I rented a car to the city center on the first day. Unfortunately, I was caught by the police without wearing a helmet and fined 500 baht. But this is related to the hotel, because I asked the hotel if there was a helmet when I rented the car, the hotel said yes, but did not give it to me. Later, when I came to the front desk with a ticket to ask for an explanation, the front desk said that I didn't know I was going to the city, so I didn't give it to me, and I didn't say that I would bear the fine. This made me a little angry. There is a Guangong Temple nearby, you can go and see it, it is still very majestic.
