Hotel Quinta Das Lagrimas - Small Luxury Hotels

This is a literary hotel, a former Portuguese prince built a residence for his lover. Later, the lover was dark*, and the prince changed the name of the residence to Tears Manor. The prince, in order to revenge, did not hesitate to meet the old king in the army. Finally the prince became king himself, she dug out her lover from the ground and held the wedding. The zombie bride cartoon is based on this. The hotel facilities are older, just look at history and learn a beautiful story.
Hotel Astoria

Hotel Astoria embodies 1920 chic French decor. Much of that fashion remains in tact, but in fairness, also reflects its age. The hotel's location right on the river provides easy access to most of Coimbra. However, the city is essentialy a giant hill, so a 10 mins walk along a steep slope may be a significant inconvenience to many. The staff is extremly friendly and works hard to provide a comfortable stay. There is no swimming pool and guests may want to bring some additional amendities (body lotion). Those may have been available, I never bother asking. Wifi is only available in public areas. Easy to check emails but not great for working in the room. Will definitely consider another stay if the price is competitive to other hotels.
Zero Box Lodge Coimbra

I have mixed feelings about my experience in this hotel, the reason is that it has an unusual concept with a design-oriented approach, which attracted a designer like me. As I checked in late and tired, the friendly staff offering me an ice cold beer was a nice start. The fact that the room was a windowless box made me a little uneasy at first, although I am not claustrophobic, but I was relieved by the good lighting and the rain shower. The hotel is really a must-experience and appeals more to young guests with its more affordable price compared to others. The only negative point was that it wasn't clean enough, the sheet metal on the bed and dust on the floor prevented the perfect experience.

The hotel is a good hotel with good accommodation and a good breakfast with good offer and variety. The indoor pool is a very good experience, unfortunately the jacuzzi is damaged. It has a gym with half a dozen machines and works. The staff were always attentive and sympathetic.
Macarico Beach Hotel

very well located hotel, in front of the beach and close to all relevant tourist attractions, as well as entertainment, shops, bars and restaurants. Service and concern for guests is a constant. Hotel with great facilities, spacious rooms, well decorated common areas in a very cozy atmosphere. Heated pool on the top floor allows a stunning view over the beach and the ocean at the rhythm of the sunset.

Great place to stay for a couple of days, beach, plenty of Resturants. Casino all steps away from the front door. The hotel was calm, clean with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast had loads of goodies. Would not hesitate to stay again or tell a friend.

There is only one bottle of water in the room and you have to buy the rest by yourself because I don’t know if the water from the faucet is edible. The other ones are pretty good.
Luna Hotel de Tábua

Excellent hotel, spacious room, very comfortable bed, big TV, air conditioning, good blackout, tea/cafe facilities, very good bathroom, only the shower could have more pressure, spa with pool, jacuzzi, sauna. The safe must have the indication to insert the PIN 2 times + # to memorize. A very sympathetic and careful staff.
