Hotels With Spa in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan

The hotel is convenient, located near to Karashimacho tram station and Sukura Machi Kumamoto. It takes about 20-25min walk to Kumamoto Castle. The room is nice, clean and tidy. I enjoyed my stay in Th is hotel.

An old resort hotel, in addition to the hot springs, there are many large parking spaces! Dining is acceptable, no more like. If you don't order dinner, you can't find a good restaurant nearby to eat? It's very quiet at night like a suburb! I booked a Japanese-style room but no staff set tatami  Bedding? I have to do it myself, I am very happy 

Great value for what we have paid for. Efficient check-in process. High quality public bath facilities with two hot hot springs (one indoor and one outdoor), one sauna and one cold water pool. Although this hotel is listed as a 3-star hotel, we would say it is much better than many 4-star hotels in many regards. The employees at the check-in desk speak decent English too.

The newly opened hotel on August 20, the environment is beautiful and clean, tidy and quiet, free welcome coffee, late-night ramen; The bathing area has popsicles and Yangleduo for free. The reading lounge is full of comics to watch. The tatami in the whole room has to take off the shoes. The service staff is also maintaining and cleaning at any time. It is very comfortable to live for 3 days. The children are also happy to leave. There is a parking lot. Passengers need to make an appointment for 1500 yen a day. There is a 24-hour parking tower at the intersection. There is also a special 15:00-11:00 on the next day. The parking time is 1200 yen, which is very good.

We had a great stay at Kamenoi Hotel Aso Park. We booked a room in the South Building, which was spacious,clean, and had a large, comfortable bed. The hotel provides yukata robes in various colors, which was a lovely touch for guests to enjoy the onsen experience. ♨️ The onsen was large and relaxing — perfect after a day of exploring Aso. 🚗 Parking was very convenient, located right next to the hotel. Just across the parking area, there’s a 24-hour convenience store called Obentou Hirai offering ready-made bentos, hot meals, ramen, and udon — extremely convenient for late-night snacks or quick meals. 🍱 We chose a room-only package without meals, and in the morning, we visited the local souvenir and food center at Aso Station. It had a great selection of local foods and breakfast options, plus plenty of gifts and souvenirs to bring home. Overall, a comfortable stay with everything we needed nearby. Highly recommended if you’re exploring the Aso area!

I wanted to hide from the crowds of tourists and feel as close to nature as possible. The place is simply magnificent, the location of the ryokan is generally ideal. There is a magnificent view from the window, the sound of the water is very relaxing! A huge plus was the presence of 3 shared onsen (family bath) which did not need to be reserved! Just come and take the ones that are free (They are open 24/7)! In general, the topic of hot springs in this ryokan is a hotel conversation, the temperature is pleasant. 2 open-air onsen (very beautiful with different themes), 2 closed onsen (open 24/7) and 3 shared (private onsen) Kaiseki (dinner/breakfast) was magnificent, we spent 2 hours for dinner and 1 hour for breakfast. There was a lot of food, varied and interesting. Everything was incredibly delicious! In general, we were fed there with: The staff is very polite, they will help, explain, speak English. We asked to leave our things before leaving because we still had a lot of time before the bus and the staff kindly agreed! Thank them again! In general, it was a wonderful trip and a very beautiful place! In the evening, if you are in season, they light the lights on the river and it becomes completely magical!

As soon as you enter the hotel, you will be greeted warmly. The waiter was smiling, spoke politely, and had no problem communicating in simple English. The hotel is not new, but it is well maintained, clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and have a rest. Facing Mount Aso, the scenery is beautiful. The room is large, has a private hot spring in the room, and the dinner is rich and delicious. It's about half an hour's drive from Aso Nakadake. It's highly recommended if you're chartering a car or traveling by car.

The hotel has free parking and there are many restaurants around. The breakfast at the hotel is an all-you-can-eat buffet at the restaurant next door. When checking in, the hotel also gave the children juice and children's slippers. The room is small~
