Very good location. The room is spacious and well designed for the price. It has a nice window view of the shopping mall across. Highlight of my stay was the public bath, they have both indoor and outdoor baths, which were clean and thoughtfully designed. Definitely a place I would come back for!
Very old hotel with spacious bathrooms but have very odd smell.
Buffet breakfast is very good with both western and Japanese selections
Must have own transportation to reach the hotel as bit near to train or subway station
I wanted to hide from the crowds of tourists and feel as close to nature as possible.
The place is simply magnificent, the location of the ryokan is generally ideal. There is a magnificent view from the window, the sound of the water is very relaxing!
A huge plus was the presence of 3 shared onsen (family bath) which did not need to be reserved! Just come and take the ones that are free (They are open 24/7)!
In general, the topic of hot springs in this ryokan is a hotel conversation, the temperature is pleasant. 2 open-air onsen (very beautiful with different themes), 2 closed onsen (open 24/7) and 3 shared (private onsen)
Kaiseki (dinner/breakfast) was magnificent, we spent 2 hours for dinner and 1 hour for breakfast. There was a lot of food, varied and interesting. Everything was incredibly delicious! In general, we were fed there with:
The staff is very polite, they will help, explain, speak English.
We asked to leave our things before leaving because we still had a lot of time before the bus and the staff kindly agreed! Thank them again!
In general, it was a wonderful trip and a very beautiful place! In the evening, if you are in season, they light the lights on the river and it becomes completely magical!
Great location, close to main bus terminal snd shopping district. Friendly staffs and was anle to offer luggage storage pre/post check in/out. Onsite hot springs was so nice and relaxing, with complimentary yogurt drinks and ice cream after the bath. Room was clean and quite spacious. Definitely will stay again
This hotel will pick up guests at the bus station. It is a little far from the bus station and is on the mountain, so it is very quiet. The hotel has only 9 rooms, which is a bit difficult to book. The waiter is very friendly and seriously introduces the room, dining, etc. The hotel's second meal also has local characteristics and tastes good.
It's a simple hotel that seems to cater to business people mostly. There's a parking lot, which is very convenient.
For the first time in all the time I've lived in Japan, I asked for residence card, which I thought was odd.
It's located very near to the train station that is very convenient for travelling and with many restaurants around. Room is rather small but clean with all the necessities required. The public bath and free breakfast are extra bonus for the booking. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Five minutes by car to the airport. Super friendly staff. Super clean. Great facilities - you can even get tea bags for free from reception. And I also got a soft drink for free. There were enough towels and even a ”robe” to use the hot springs. All in all, great.
The room we chose this time did not have a private bathroom, so we went to the female-only public bath on the 3rd floor to take a bath at night. Although the place was not big, it felt quite clean. I would also like to give special praise to the hotel's breakfast, which has a wide variety of dishes and makes me very satisfied. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant are all very polite and have friendly smiles.

ののん0121It was my first time staying here.
It was a very beautiful and relaxing space!
Breakfast was buffet style and delicious.
I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
GGuest UserMy stay at Super Hotel Lohas Kumamoto Natural Hot Springs was a delightful experience. While the room was on the smaller side, it was thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast, which offered a delicious spread of Japanese cuisine, perfectly capturing the essence of local flavors. Though I didn't have the opportunity to visit the natural hot springs this time, I look forward to experiencing them during my next stay. If you're seeking cozy comfort and authentic cuisine in Kumamoto, Super Hotel Lohas is a great choice.

GGuest UserThe rooms are comfortable and the four hot springs that can be used as family baths are all excellent. Dinner is very delicious, made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Breakfast was also healthy, delicious, and plentiful. My parents highly praised both dinner and breakfast. Also, the staff welcomed us with bright and lively energy, making us feel very happy during our stay. The onigiri served for lunch was also delicious. If I go to Mt. Aso again, I will visit again. Thank you for the precious memories I had with my parents.
