Very Good
GGuest Userlove this Hotel stayed many times .
just a few issues on this visit that didn’t quite get the excellent for me
The aircon on the room wasn’t working I phoned the desk and was told it’s on Heating mode only turn it off and start it again we did but the guy on the desk was unhelpful.
also the breakfast was a little lacking this visit we went down at 9.20 and most of the rolls muffins and pastries had gone no bagels and the eggs fried were hard normally there is a menu where you can choose fresh eggs etc but as they had a corporate event on that was not operating so despite a heft y price for the breakfast we didn’t get a very good one .
Other than that the service from all staff i. bar ,Reception especially Telma and Phil was excellent
GGuest UserThe rooms were great, the service was good, parking was free, the swimming pool water was nicely heated and the kids had a great time, and there was also a sauna for adults. Breakfast was the usual British style.
GGuest UserThe hotel and grounds are beautiful – very traditional, full of charm, and in a great Cotswold location close to the Farmers Dog. Staff were friendly and did their best to help, but the WiFi didn’t work at all and with no phone signal it meant no internet access, which was frustrating. The room was very hot with no real way to cool it other than opening the window, which wasn’t ideal on the ground floor. The shower kept swinging between hot and cold, and the room itself felt quite small considering the high price. Overall, a lovely setting but the stay was let down by some practical issues.
GGuest UserSuperb location right in the centre of Oxford. Good for those travelling without car. If travelling with car, you would need to park in Westgate or Worcester street car park.
Only opened in 2024, so the facilities are new and clean. Modern chic style. Spa is small, but has steam, sauna and experience shower.
The only thing was whenever we asked for something, it took us 2-3 attempts to finally get things delivered.
TtigasIt was nice stay. The location was not that great. Breakfast was not buffet but with nice view though the weather was bad that time. The kettle has leftover water and has a lot of scales. The changing room and the showers in the pool was freezing.
SSteve DonnieWe needed somewhere to stay to attend graduation ceremony in the Sheldonian. It fits the bill but like everywhere is expensive but this is Oxford and there is not a lot of places to go near enough to the centre.
HHulijiadexiaohuliNestled in the suburbs, the hotel offers a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, truly feeling like a tranquil escape. We really appreciated having a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The bed in our room felt like two twin beds joined together, and it was certainly spacious enough. The sofa in the room can be converted into a sofa bed (just a heads-up: not all rooms have these, so be sure to confirm upon check-in).
戈戈This hotel must be a self-driving tour before you can stay. It is a 10-minute drive from Bicester Village. The hotel environment is very good in the golf course. The equipment and facilities are not new but clean and effective. The room is very large. I stayed in a room with a large double bed and a single bed. Breakfast is a traditional British breakfast. There is also a la carte grilled salted fish. It's not bad. The parking lot is free. It is a standard four-star hotel and the best hotel closest to Bicester Village.
