The front desk lady and madam are nice and polite. They give us some suggestions for the foods and place to go. The room is not too big but the bed is comfortable. The only worst two points one is the hotel located under the airplane take off way so can hear the plane take off clearly even in the room and another one poor is the food that hotel provide don’t have too much selection.

This trip makes it worth travelling to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Our 5D4N stays was amazing, cosy and location is super convenient to any night markets, shopping mall and even to supermarket etc.
Thank u to all the staff for making the room with birthday deco and complimentary cakes.
Only one thing is the noise level especially you booked staying the corner room.
Overall is excellent!! Including their breakfast
Will visit again soon !!
What a very beautiful place to stay in nature. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too. My only negatives would be that the rooms were a bit run down and smelt very damp considering the price we paid for the plunge pool room. Also the plunge pool room doesn’t have much privacy as you can see your neighbours either side and the room above is set back. Also burning season slightly spoilt our trip to Chiang Mai as the air pollution made me have “hay fever” for the entire stay and it got worse the longer we stayed.
Beautiful how with large bright bedrooms! The swimming pool is beautiful too! Staff are extremely attentive. Hotel is so close to the main district for restaurants/bars within a 5min walk but still quiet at night. Would absolutely recommend!
I stayed here with my mom and grandma (who have mobility issues) and the experience was exceptional. The hotel staffs and owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, treating us like family and offering amazing support, especially for my grandma. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily without us even needing to ask. The location is ideal — it's in a peaceful area, just a 10-minute drive from Chiang Mai’s main attractions and the airport. It’s perfect for families or even solo travelers looking for a quiet escape from the busy city, while still being close enough to get around easily. The complimentary airport pickup and drop-off is also a great bonus. And I can’t forget the adorable hotel cat, which added a lovely, homey touch to our stay!

Finding Phra Singh Village in Chiang Mai can be a bit tricky without GPS, as it's nestled within narrow alleys, but arriving at the hotel immediately surprises you with its beautifully wood-themed facade. The lobby, although small, is wonderfully decorated and fragranced with cinnamon, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The check-in process was exceptionally smooth—upon arrival, we were seated on a sofa, served a refreshing fruit juice welcome drink, and had our passports quickly processed.
The hotel may be compact, but it is stunningly designed with extensive woodwork that adds to its charm. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring windows that actually open—an increasingly rare amenity. The minibar was well-stocked with both complimentary and paid options, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was top-notch, although the water was a bit too hot for my liking.
One downside was the air conditioning, which only targeted the feet area, making it advisable to sleep with socks on to avoid getting cold. Surprisingly, a flashlight (which lacked batteries) was mounted on the wall next to the light switch. When asked, the staff explained that the region often experiences power outages during rainstorms, which accounts for this unusual provision.
Breakfast was excellent overall, except for the omelettes, which were a bit too bland and pale for my taste. However, dining in the hotel's garden environment was truly delightful. The staff throughout our stay were outstanding, enhancing our experience with their attentive and friendly service.
In conclusion, Phra Singh Village offers a blend of hidden charm and exceptional hospitality, making it a memorable place to stay despite its few quirks. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a unique and intimate experience in Chiang Mai.
The hotel is under the flight path, there may be some noice which is understandable, so do Ninmann area. The pool is quite big but not much sheltered area for lying. Room is OK but not much options for TV. Better with a car for easy access.

A truly unforgettable first trip to Chiang Mai, all thanks to Chala Number 6.
This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and it completely exceeded my expectations. When our driver dropped us by the roadside, I was briefly unsure—there was no typical drop-off area, and the hotel was nestled beside a school. I started worrying if I’d made the right choice, especially with my mom traveling with me.
But those doubts vanished the moment the bellboy crossed the street to greet us and carry our bags. From that point on, everything was seamless.
Our room was ready before the official check-in time (bonus point right there 🍪). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and incredibly Instagram-worthy. Traditional music plays softly in the background, creating a calming, almost spiritual atmosphere.
One of the biggest surprises? Complimentary afternoon tea from 2pm to 4pm. I’m usually not a fan of traditional desserts, but theirs were so thoughtfully curated and visually stunning—some even reminded me of Nyonya kuih from home.
Breakfast was simple but included local Thai items. One dish made from sticky rice, coconut milk, and egg wrapped in banana leaves brought back memories for my mom—it tasted just like her childhood.
It rained almost every day during our stay, and at night we could hear the sounds of nature—croaking toads and gentle rainfall. My mom said it felt like we had traveled back in time.
There’s also a temple right across the road. As someone who’s a little superstitious, I found comfort in that peaceful presence 😅.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. The Sunday Market literally starts at the hotel’s doorstep, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a 2-minute walk away. A few minutes further is Lila Thai Massage—I didn’t get to try it myself, but I’ve heard nothing but great reviews.
Chala Number 6 made this mother-daughter trip so special. I’m truly grateful for the kind service, the thoughtful details, and the peaceful atmosphere. The price? Well worth it.
Thank you, Chala Number 6, for taking such good care of us. We’ll remember this stay for a long time. 🙇♀️

The hotel bedding was indeed very comfortable.
The room size was decent, and having three mirrors was convenient for makeup.
During our stay, we noticed many Koreans were also guests here.
Breakfast leaned Western, offering four egg options. The tea was also quite good.~
Less than 100 meters from the hotel entrance, you'll find Michelin-recommended street food rotis with long queues at night.
A 7-Eleven is also less than 100m from the hotel entrance.
Weaving Street is just a few minutes' walk away, perfect for a stroll.
Tha Phae Gate is also nearby.
Chiang Mai isn't large; it's easy to walk around the Old City.
Check-in was only in English. We checked in in the afternoon, and the lobby was quite small.
Inside the hotel, you need to use the key to deadbolt the door. Don't forget when leaving.
Always carry cash and your passport with you!!!
1000 Thai Baht went missing from our room during housekeeping.
As a newly opened hotel, they seemed inexperienced in handling such incidents.
They were quite nervous but took it seriously. After reviewing the CCTV footage, they advised us to report it to the police.
Perhaps due to Thai law, the hotel staff couldn't directly confirm if the housekeeper was involved.
[Flabbergasted R] Later, Trip.com intervened, and we also reported the hotel's poor security.
Staying the remaining two nights made me very uneasy.
So, we cancelled and got a refund for the remaining two nights.
We then switched hotels.
Switched to a Marriott hotel. [Disappointed R]

Great
CchoThe environment is quiet and I like his big garden. Outside the old town, the breakfast was great! But the sound insulation effect is a bit poor.
TTravelholicday The hotel staff was very friendly. I had to go out at 6:30 in the morning to join the tour. I told them the night before that they had a takeaway breakfast ready when I left. It was a reception! The room was nice and no one needed it. There is a small terrace and a swimming pool for $200. The location is close to the city center, but it is quiet and dark. It is recommended to call grab back to the hotel at night.
LLean KostraThe location is very prime, all top spots in nimman is within walking distance, the room is clean, you can have your breakfast served at your room. The service is very good, but could be improved in communicating, and organizing so the service time could be shorter. However the overall experience is very good!!
