Nice hotel! We just arrived at the hotel entrance, and there were staff members greeting us at the door. During check-in, the process was explained clearly, and the service was excellent. A staff member was dedicated to serving us dinner, and both the dinner and breakfast tasted great. The view from our room was also very good. When we left, the hotel staff waved at us continuously. The service and quality were very good.👍👍
Staying at a ryokan facing Mount Fuji was like stepping into a different rhythm of life — one where everything slows down, and every detail feels intentional. From the warm welcome to the soft tatami floors and the sound of the wind rustling through the trees outside the shoji screens, it was peace in its purest form. Watching the sunrise over Fuji-san in the quiet morning light, soaking in the onsen with a view I’ll never forget, and sharing traditional meals that felt like art — these are the moments that stay with you. Grateful for the stillness, the hospitality, and the kind of memories that settle deep in your soul.
The stay was awesome and the staff are very kind and helpful, providing very clear information to all the servives and activities we can do.
We were welcomed with complimentary snacks, drinks and even wine after check in. And there is also a complimentary ramen supper available, which feeds our empty stomach after a whole day. The coffee and hot chocolate is also availavle 24 hours complimentary.
There is also different onsen theme available, private and public which we had tried out all. Do note on some of the rules when using the onsen.
The breakfast is very good and tasty. We had our first Japanese style breakfast and tried the local Hotou and 纳豆 as well.
Location wise is slightly outskirts from the Fujikawaguchiko station but there is shuttle bus available for transfer. However, we drived but didn't had the chance to take the shuttle bus. Parking wise a lot of spaces available so that's not a worry.
Ultimately, the best of the best is the Mount Fuji voew from our balcony and there is also onsen available in the room.
Overall, we had a very good stay and would recommend for anyone who would like a good and comfortable stay. 5 star service.
The breakfast was mediocre. The shuttle service a mess. Waited 40 minutes once despite being told it was going to be 20 minutes. No updates while waiting. The air conditioning is no actual air conditioning but rather a ventilator. You have to stick to a certain time slot for breakfast. You you have to make a reservation for the hotel’s own restaurant. Has to be done until 7 PM. Otherwise the restaurant will be closed even though the opening hours are until 9 PM. THe view and the fact there is an Onsen is the only positive thing
The hotel location is good, staff are friendly and service is good. Room is spacious, the hot water tub is very good. We enjoyed our stay there. Will consider staying at this hotel again.
Was assigned a lake facing room which was wonderful! There’s a small roof terrace with Mt Fuji view. Hotel also provide station pick up and dropoff. The room itself was quite small and toilet cramp, and furniture/ bedsheets are showing signs of ageing. Breakfast was a set rather than buffet style.
A fantastic hotel with great amenities to make your stay comfortable , memorable and everlasting . Breakfast was delicious too . Not to mention dinner . A place we would like to return to .
The hotel is an old resort hotel. The rooms are very old. Except for the lobby and the new activity room, there is an old building smell everywhere. There is only one shuttle bus from the station. If you don't contact all parties, you may have to spend 9,000 yen to take a taxi to arrive.
I booked a two-bed room with a coffee table, but after arriving, I was only given a three-bed disabled-friendly room. After insisting on negotiating, I was given a room booked for one day. The next day, I changed to a two-bed disabled-friendly room. I basically didn't use that bathroom. The faucet on the sink was actually inductive. It was troublesome to use water for brushing teeth. Speechless! The toilet was not covered, and it flushed automatically when people shook it. Attached pictures.
Thanks to the hotel Yorkee for helping to coordinate and arrange additional pick-up, otherwise...
Breakfast and dinner are included, and the price is reasonable. Free power-assisted bicycles are very pleasant to ride around the lake. Friends who like hiking are also a good choice.
If you don't encounter a large group on weekends, you should really experience the beauty of a resort hotel. Looking at the bus at the door, can you imagine a crowded restaurant! ?
I was quite worried because some of the recent reviews were disappointing, but although there were quite a lot of people, we didn't have to queue for meals, and we were able to relax in the hot springs, which became a very fond memory. The kids also had a lot of fun with the playground equipment in the basement and said they wanted to go back again. However, there was a bit of a queue after we finished eating, so I think it might be better to dine earlier. The food was very delicious. It's a very good inn and I recommend it.
