Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby decor is grand yet cozy 🏡, and the bellhop was super enthusiastic about helping with luggage 🧳. The room's soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear any noise 🤫, and waking up to the morning sun was incredibly refreshing 🌞. Checkout was super fast, no long waits ⌛. Highly recommended!

The view from the room was excellent. Unfortunately, our room didn't face Osaka Castle Park, so we missed out on seeing the Tenshukaku (castle tower). The furnishings and facilities felt quite new, and we found no issues with cleanliness. As for the front desk service, it was a bit hard to judge; they weren't overly enthusiastic, but certainly efficient enough. We managed to check in with a combination of my rather broken English and a translation app. They also kindly provided children's amenities and complimentary scones. Overall, it was a good stay, and I'd be happy to book here again on my next trip.

One of my best stays for my solo trip in Osaka! Spacious single room with great breakfast option. I love the Public Bath as well, feeling relaxed after the dip. There is also a Family Mart convenient store underneath the hotel, really love this hotel! 😍

I stayed at this hotel for the second time and was impressed by its consistent quality. The room was spotlessly clean, and Sexually transmitted infection: and well-equipped with modern facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The staff were courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. My only complaint is that the milk vending machine was frequently out of stock, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant and reliable experience, making it a great choice for travelers. I would definitely consider returning for future stays.

This truly lives up to its reputation as an established five-star hotel. It embodies all the qualities of a five-star establishment, with staff who are highly service-oriented and professional. The front desk staff are particularly professional and have good English skills. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and during my 6-night stay, the cleaning was impeccable every day. The location is excellent; the airport limousine bus goes directly here, and there's also a bus to Tennoji from right outside the hotel, running every 15 minutes for 120 yen. The subway is directly accessible from the hotel's basement, just two stops to Namba and five to Umeda. Right next door is Kintetsu Department Store, which connects to an annex featuring Muji and Uniqlo, among others. The basement supermarket offers very reasonable prices. Across the street, Hihi Town boasts a variety of authentic local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Location of this hotel is superb. It is adjacent to Namba OCAT which has the JR subway line at the bottom. Take the airport limousine bus 11 and it brings you almost to this hotel. There is also a supermarket very nearby with lots of food choices around. This hotel has a hot bath setup and its own 7-11 at the 4th floor.

The hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

The room was quite small, but all the amenities expected from an IHG property were fully provided; though small, it had everything one could need. There's a hotel shuttle bus to USJ, with only one departure at 7:30 AM on the day we went. We booked it in advance via email, and the response was quick and excellent. We secured our seats and entered the park by 8 AM, which was a great experience. It was a bit difficult to find the shuttle bus stop from Umeda Osaka Station to the hotel. I suggest the hotel provide a video route guide; that would significantly improve the guest experience. The only drawback was the strong disinfectant smell in the bathroom. I hope they can address this.

YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

AAoniguiguiThe location is truly exceptional. Step right out, and you're practically in Umeda, Osaka's prime shopping area. Major department stores like Daimaru and Lucua 1100 are just a 5-8 minute walk away, offering a vast selection of brands and convenient in-store tax refunds. JR train access is also excellent; Universal Studios is less than 20 minutes away with a super convenient same-platform transfer. The airport limousine bus stop is also just a 3-minute walk, making airport transfers incredibly easy. The hotel was clean, and the service was attentive. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest User+The location was really nice, very serene with lots of mountains surrounding the ryokan; +Relatively easy to access (pretty far from Osaka, but close to the train station); +Staff speaks English, so you shouldn't have issues with communication; +They have a lot of instructions/maps/manuals on how to fully enjoy the ryokan, so you shouldn't have trouble figuring out the basics. ~Food was mostly ok, nothing bad or spectacular, good portions; ~Although they do have some SPA elements, it's really not a lot (basically nothing except hot springs and massage) -It's certainly on the older side (not in the sense of it being particularly historical, rather that it would benefit from some renovations), but maybe that adds to the ambiance for some people; -The actual inn territory is rather small, so you won't have much to explore without going outside. Overall, I think it's a good first ryokan to familiarize yourself with the culture a bit, but I wouldn't necessarily refer to it as particularly impressive/authentic experience.

MMinixiaokeOverall, I'm quite satisfied. I'm not a picky person; good enough is good enough for me. The room was spacious, but the foul smell from the drain was a definite drawback. The location is very convenient, especially being close to Shinsaibashi – that's a big plus! 👍 The breakfast selection was decent. There was no Chinese-speaking staff when I checked in. The Japanese lady at check-in asked me to pay extra for breakfast, and I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, because my booking clearly stated breakfast was included. Was it because I don't speak Japanese, or because my English isn't great and I'm easy to fool? I hope the service quality can be improved a bit!

MM14809****It's actually a new brand from Capella. The hotel enjoys a tranquil location with beautiful surroundings, offering excellent views from both sides. It's conveniently situated right next to Osaka Castle and a lush green park. The design is modern and elegant, with exquisite details. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the entire hotel embodies a sustainable and eco-friendly philosophy. It's within walking distance of the Chuo Line station, making it very convenient for visiting the Expo. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious. We were extremely satisfied with our stay, and should I return to Osaka, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.
