That's a great service from hotel staff especially at the breakfast restaurant staff. They always take care what you want and offer food choices to me and colleague. Surely, the food for breakfast is great, variety of choices. I love coffee and cake so much. When they know that we are the last day at hotel, they prepared simple cake but full of hospitality of restaurant team. Thanks so much and we will come back again.

This was my second time to stay in Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata and I chose to stay here again because of the exceptional service in all fronts. The staff at the restaurant, led by Biswas, have always been amazing and I’d also say having stayed at the other Kolkata hotels that the food options here are much better. The front staff too are friendly and accommodating. I will choose to stay here again next time.

The stay at itc sonar was wonderful. The ambience ad grandeur of this property is beyond words. The cuisines served here are excellent. Credit goes to Chef Shubonkar for taking individualistic care. I would like to mention Mr. Sujoy from front office for his help ad arranging the best for me. I would love to visit again.

The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was modern and equipped with all the necessary amenities.Overall, my stay at Taj City Centre New Town was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kolkata.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast can consider more international food.

It’s located next to Pradhan Nagar. Ideal place to stay for seeing doctors. Excellent breakfast. Good swimming pool located in 2nd floor of the hotel. Breakfast has plenty of varieties of food. Perfect and clean rooms. Everything well ***aged. Hygienic to stay during COVID time.

food taste and varieties available in vivanta is not good except this very thing was good and excellent

We usually stay here when stopping over in Kolkata as it's conveniently located. You can catch an Uber to the airport for around 150 rupees. It's located next to a supermarket and just down the road is a nice shopping center. The staff were very attentive and helpful even though it was a busy time.

I know this is five star hotel but the service not a five star hotel. Need to improve for the five star service.

We recently visited Taj Bengal to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and our experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and attentive, making us feel truly special. A special shoutout to Mr. Sanjib Ghosh, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. His attention to detail and care made all the difference. A big thank you as well to Miss Shreya for beautifully decorating our room—it added such a personal touch to the celebration. Taj Bengal truly made this birthday celebration a memorable one, and we can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

In Darjeeling, it can be regarded as one of the best quality hotels. Although the surrounding area is very shabby, it is a small harbor, which is especially suitable for two people (because of the double breakfast). From Darjeeling Railway Station, drag the suitcase to the hotel for about 15 minutes. Young people are fine. It is only 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Peak Plaza. It is very convenient. There is a night market with stalls nearby. There was even a miniso, and I was drunk too, and the holiday brand that lost the Chinese face was flooding everywhere. The video was shot in the room with a time-lapse. In addition, free luggage storage is provided here, you can go for four or five days on foot, leave your luggage here, and pick it up later.

I had stayed in Sarovar Hotel for a day. The room was clean and food served was delicious. Even the breakfast buffet had varied options. I had a pleasure meeting with Roshan Thakur and he was very helpful and cooperative. Over all it was a good experience. I will definitely loved to come again

Stayed 13th to 14th May 2024 , 3 Rooms As everywhere it is known first experience is the best experience but my Experience in Barsana is very bad with Front Office Team, I booked with Agoda for 6 adults and 1 kid but by mistake room is booked for 3 adults 3 rooms. My brother requested them to give rooms key till agoda reverts back or else I will pay the amount they asked for 3000 rs in the morning but they denied to give me the key , issues was more we travelled for 7 hours and for with females and kids. my question is when I already paid for 3 rooms for 3 adults they would have allowed atleast 3 person if not 6 but they denied. why after paying Rs 9100 they have not given me the Key. I never been to any star hotel which ask complete payments before checkin, advance is still ok even I paid for 3 rooms and. 3 adults but this hotel asked 100% of Rs 3000 payments to give me a key for extra 3 person. it was very embarassing situation while travelling with a family almost waited for 1 hours to get the key only after Agoda replied to pay 500 person + GST to be paid for each extra person. after getting a room mosquitos not allowed to sleep in the night due to early morning checked out stayed only for 8 hours paid almost 11k for 3 rooms. Overall ambience of Hotel ,food , rooms ambience , Location , staff in Restaurent was very good.

Review of Taj Chia Kutir, Darjeeling We stayed at Taj Chia Kutir, Darjeeling, from 15th to 17th February 2025 to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. While the property itself is stunning and the overall stay was pleasant, our experience was significantly marred by poor service coordination, which ruined our special occasion. Service Disappointment Before our arrival, our travel agent coordinated with Mr. Rishi, the F&B Manager, regarding a special anniversary dinner, estimated to cost around ₹25,000. We were advised to connect with him upon arrival, which we did. Mr. Rishi assured us that he would make arrangements and get in touch with us. He even mentioned sharing his contact number, but he never did. Neither did he reach out to us nor did he arrange anything, leading to a complete disappointment. This lack of communication and follow-through showed a serious disregard for guest experience, which is unexpected from a brand like Taj. Other Aspects of the Stay • Property & Ambience: The resort itself is beautiful, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. • Food: The food was average at best, with a limited spread. For a luxury property, we expected a more diverse and high-quality culinary experience. • Service: Apart from the anniversary dinner mishap, the overall service was decent, but not exceptional. Final Verdict Taj Chia Kutir offers a picturesque setting, but the lack of attention to guest requests and poor service coordination left a bitter taste. For a special occasion, we wouldn’t recommend relying on their team for event arrangements. While the stay was comfortable, this service failure overshadowed our experience. If you’re visiting for a casual getaway, you might enjoy it, but if you’re expecting top-notch service for a special occasion, think twice.

The property ambience was good but the food and service was not good it was beyond expectations. The food service in the restaurant was not proper, it took a to much time to serve and the food quality was not good and also the morning complementary breakfast was not good.

We had been stayed 2 nights in Mayfair hotel Darjeeling. Throughout our experience was phenomenal, apart from that the food was literally delicious and delicate. The buffet spread was ultimate. We have zeal to specially thank Chef Alok who took Care for us personally and diligently. Overall hospitality was a next level.

Amazing place and view. Could not sight Kanchenjunga peak due to weather. Another time. Resort staffs are great, very happy very jovial always ready to help. Service is super fast. I don’t know how but they have cracked this important customer satisfaction factor. They even upgraded us to higher category rooms upon our request and basis availability.

Harekrishna and Sayan was very nice and friendly, he helped us so much and clean the Room very well for us. I recommend :-) You get every day 2 Bottles of Packaged Water per Person for free. The Breakfest is good, Watermelon Juice, Canned Juice, Bread, Rice, Cereals and lot more. The Hotel Bar is also a nice thing.

I stayed there for 3 night. The was very nice and we felt very good experience. The food quality was also very good. Overall it was a nice stay.
