Booked a suite at the Hilton Jiaxing via Trip.com, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the expansive space. The living room and bedroom were distinctly zoned, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a picturesque panorama of the city skyline blending with the serene lake. With the lights on at night, the ambiance was absolutely captivating. Every detail in the suite showed thoughtful consideration: the bedding was cloud-soft, allowing me to drift off to sleep instantly. The bathroom featured a modern wet/dry separation and an oversized bathtub, perfect for soaking away a day's fatigue. The mini-bar was well-stocked with a great selection of drinks, instantly making it feel like a cozy home away from home. The service was simply impeccable. Duty Manager Cathy provided a flawless response to all requests. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and room service was incredibly prompt – when I requested an extra pillow in the evening, it was delivered within minutes. The breakfast the next day offered a huge variety, with both Chinese and Western options – definitely a must-try! Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, this place offers a perfect experience. It has already been added to my go-to list for stays in Jiaxing!

The room was quiet, cozy, and comfortable, with an elegant ambiance. The service was excellent, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. The hotel is located within the scenic area, very close to the entrance, making it convenient for exploring. The room rate included two admission tickets and an elegant afternoon tea for two by the river.

The Shangri-La Yiwu is the best hotel I've stayed at recently. The breakfast, in particular, was abundant and delicious, and the service was excellent. Miss Yin was especially outstanding. I'll definitely be back to stay here again.

The location is superb, the environment is first-class, and the views are excellent. I stayed on the 12th floor with a lake view, overlooking Taihu Lake, which offered a fantastic perspective (though sometimes the wind was a bit strong, so I couldn't stay on the balcony for too long). The hotel's decor is magnificent, and facilities like the swimming pool and gym are good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied; it rotated during my two-day stay. The room itself was generally acceptable, but the carpet was a bit old, and there was a noticeable damaged spot that hadn't been repaired. Service was hard to describe. After check-in, a butler added me on WeChat and I told them I wanted to check in around 1 PM, and the butler said they would relay the request. However, at the front desk, I was told the room wouldn't be ready until 3 PM (though in reality, it was available a bit earlier). A fruit plate was delivered after check-in. My Trip.com order included a daily dining package. The front desk staff seemed to misinterpret it, telling us it was one package per order (we stayed for three days and two nights). I must praise Trip.com; after communicating with them, the hotel reluctantly agreed it was one package per day (meaning two packages for a three-day, two-night stay) and told me I could just go directly to the restaurant as it was included in the order. But did you think that was the end of it? When I went to Shuyu Chuan for dinner, the owner asked for meal vouchers, so it took a long phone call to sort it out. The next day, before going to Mian Baifu, I first went to the front desk to get vouchers and mentioned the issue at Shuyu Chuan. The front desk still didn't give me vouchers, saying I could just go directly. And sure enough, the same thing happened; the owner also asked for vouchers, leading to another ten-minute phone call. I've never seen such service at a five-star hotel. If they were so unwilling, why didn't they just cancel that bundled order? Furthermore, regarding the package issue, it was me who called Trip.com to coordinate and resolve it, yet the butler on WeChat still acted as if she had helped me obtain some special privilege. The order also included a daily entry to the 25th-floor Xuan Bar (starting at 7:30 PM, including two soft drinks and snacks). I must commend the staff there; the Xuan Bar also had a pool table, and we had a great time.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Executive Apartments, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I booked through Trip.com, which clearly stated that all guests from all regions and countries are welcome. However, upon arrival, the hotel failed to inform me of a discriminatory local policy that caused significant problems during my stay. Late at night, the police came into my room unannounced, creating a highly stressful and uncomfortable situation for both me and my partner. This was not only an invasion of privacy but also caused emotional distress. At no point during booking or check-in did the hotel provide any disclaimer or warning about such policies that could affect guests. For a global brand like Marriott, I expected professionalism, transparency, and care for guests’ safety and dignity. Instead, I felt misled and unsupported. If the hotel is aware of restrictions that may impact certain guests, they should be upfront about it before booking, not leave travelers to face such distressing surprises. I will not be staying here again and cannot recommend this property to others. Clear communication and respect for guests are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this hotel failed on both.

My friend and I visited Ningbo to watch a movie, and it was my first time staying at a Shangri-La property. We booked a room with Horizon Club access (executive lounge), and I have a few honest remarks for everyone's reference: 1. Service: Before check-in, no concierge contacted me regarding my needs, which was quite surprising. Other hotels in Ningbo of a similar price range that I've stayed at, like the Sheraton and Hilton, always contact guests in advance. Even after checking in, there was no WeChat contact from a concierge. To request room service, I had to either scan a QR code on the table or make a phone call. 2. Check-in: Since no one contacted me beforehand, I had noted my check-in preferences in advance, hoping for a room upgrade if available. In the past, on Ctrip, there were two scenarios: either the hotel would reply saying an upgrade depends on same-day availability, or they would confirm the upgrade. This time, I received a confirmation that the upgrade was arranged. However, upon check-in, it wasn't mentioned, and the room assigned had a musty smell with a locked window that couldn't be opened for ventilation. My happy expectations quickly soured. I think it's better to just say upgrades depend on availability rather than making a promise and not delivering; it's truly astounding. 3. Package: The package included K11 consumption vouchers, but again, no one informed me how to use them. I eventually had to go down to the front desk to ask. Moreover, they couldn't be collected at the hotel; I had to go to the mall. Once there, I was told that tickets for tomorrow's movie could only be booked on the same day, making my trip a complete waste of time. It was truly awful. 4. Horizon Club: The Horizon Club was the only highlight of this stay. The ladies at the lounge were all smiling and attentive, and the view was excellent. Happy hour was incredibly rich and filling, the best I've experienced in so many luxury hotels over the past two years. Breakfast was also very good, with all the expected food categories available. To sum it up: If you're coming for the food and scenery, go for it. Otherwise, I'd say skip it. And it's best to book a room with Horizon Club access, or you might experience poor service like I did this time. What's even more ridiculous is that while I enjoyed good service at the Horizon Club, my friend, who isn't a Shangri-La member, was pressured into applying for a membership card. It's truly a bittersweet moment. Given this attitude, they might as well set up a proper concierge service.

Facilities: Comprehensive Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Excellent Service: Superb Quzhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. Parking was convenient and free, the service was warm, and the accommodations were comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. The hotel is very close to historical and cultural attractions like Quzhou Ancient City Wall, Shuijingmen Scenic Area, Kong Family Temple of the Southern Branch, and Quzhou Museum. We went exploring in the evening, and the ancient city was bustling with activity – it was fantastic!

The hotel's location is great, and the views are truly wonderful. The children's play area is more suitable for younger kids. We happened to check in when the hotel was hosting a competition, and it was a mess...kids running everywhere with no one to supervise them. Breakfast was decent, neither good nor bad. However, this is the first time I've checked into a hotel where they didn't confirm any specific information with me – no mention of whether I'd booked breakfast, or the breakfast times and location. Our room was missing essential toiletries upon check-in, and after we arrived, we had to wait several hours before being told a room was ready. So, why were essential items missing after such a long wait? The service definitely needs improvement.

I stayed for two nights in total. On the first night, I checked in quite late. They assigned me a room on the second floor of Building 8. I immediately felt it was very inconvenient, with no elevator, dragging luggage and a child. Luckily, a hotel staff member helped me carry everything up. The room facilities were outdated, and I found the room door was damaged the next day. The decor was very old-fashioned. However, I must say the service was excellent. On the second day, I discussed it with the front desk, and they helped me move to a room on the second floor of Building 6. The interior design and facilities were definitely upgraded, and there was an elevator. The second room was much more satisfactory!

MM531168****The hotel's location is unbeatable; a 5-minute walk takes you right to West Lake. As an established five-star hotel, it has all the expected amenities, though it's a bit dated due to its age. However, it's generally clean, hygienic, and the facilities are perfectly functional. Parking was a bit chaotic, but that's understandable given its prime location.

AArthurI would have given a 5-star review for Pan Pacific Ningbo had it not been for allowing guests and even hotel staff to smoke in the hotel! I give 1-star for cleanliness because allowing guests and staff to smoke in a hotel lobby and rooms is simply disgusting! There's nothing clean about it! It's such a waste because Pan Pacific Ningbo has such great facilities and luxurious interior; I even made a video of the hotel and will be posting it on my newly created YouTube channel. I may return again when the Chinese government has banned smoking in hotels and taken a more serious attitude against smoking and enforced the laws against smoking in hotels and restaurants. Having brought up the bad thing about Pan Pacific Ningbo, I would like to highly commend the following staff for their exemplary services: 1. Cady of the reception Cady was the same receptionist who checked us in during our two separate stays, on our way to Zhoushan and back from Zhoushan. She was very courteous and friendly. She offered to add me on her WeChat so that I could contact her if I needed anything. True enough, I needed to contact her within a few hours after we checked-in during our second stay. Smoke filled our room. When I found out that it came from the room next to ours, I immediately informed Cady, who immediately arranged for someone to spray air freshener in the corridor. She offered air filter, which I declined as we were already going out. As we walked down the lobby, I realized that Cady had actually left, and she was arranging all those even though she was already off duty! It was also Cady who informed me that GHA Discovery members would get dining discount by giving me a brochure. 2. Cora (陈丽) Cora was the wait staff attending our table at Madr 99. When I found out that I had run out of mobile data plan, I asked Cora for the passcode to logon to the hotel Wifi. Strangely, there's no option to logon with hotel room number. There were only 2 ways to logon to the hotel wifi: using a passcode and mobile number. Cora kindly offered to use her mobile number to help me logon. She didn't even ask me to use my own mobile number. It was very kind of her to do that. Upon paying the bill, I presented Cora with my GHA Discovery membership card. Cora provided me with 10% discount for silver member, exactly as stated in the brochure that Cady gave me. When we headed back to the serviced suites, another male wait staff chased us and rudely told me that GHA Discovery silver member was not entitled to any dining discount at all. He demanded me to go with him to the cashier to sign a new invoice. I later contacted Cady and asked her to verify with her manager the terms and conditions of dining discount for GHA Discovery member, before we went to Hai Tien Lo to dine in the evening. Cady, who was already at home and off duty, gladly obliged to my request, and confirmed that dining discount was applicable to even silver members. Perhaps hotel management could ask Cora to train the guy properly before allowing him to interact with guests directly! Otherwise, one day he might get punched by guests who are irritated by his behavior. 3. Cavan Cavan was the porter/concierge who helped us deliver our luggage to our room. He, too, was friendly and polite like Cady and Cora. He even walked us to Madr 99 and showed us where all the hotel restaurants were located. The way he treated us was like VVIP. The hotel management should treasure and try to retain these 3 excellent staff. Have these 3 experienced staff to train their junior colleagues.

GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

WWulongaihechaMy family and I visited Xixi Wetland during the National Day holiday and stayed in Room 19 of the 'Hushu Guest House.' The 60-square-meter room was spacious and airy, perfect for three people. The decor was a charming Chinese retro style, and the garden landscape was beautiful and serene. Overall, the stay was fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🏠 **Indoor Environment:** The room featured an entryway for shoes, a bathroom, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a private outdoor terrace. I loved being able to see the lake directly from the bed – very relaxing. A nighttime soak in the tub was wonderful, with a lovely view outside the window. 💁 **Service:** The butler and all staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. There was a dedicated shuttle service from the North Gate of the wetland. After check-in, the butler thoughtfully explained the hotel's garden design and surroundings, then guided us to our room and detailed its layout. We received complimentary welcome fruit and evening service, and the entire room smelled fragrant and fresh. We also participated in a craft class with an instructor, which was a great experience. 🍃 **Outdoor Environment:** The winding paths were secluded and picturesque. All guest room areas could be accessed via a single loop, so there was no getting lost, and along the way, we experienced various scenic views. The air was fresh, there was abundant greenery, and it was very quiet – even the elderly enjoyed it. 📪 **Minor Drawbacks:** Unfortunately, the complimentary photoshoot service we were offered fell through as the collaborating photographer bailed, so we didn't get to experience that. Also, we forgot to claim the complimentary drinks at the bar.

GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

My room, located on a high floor, was wonderfully quiet. I tried the buffet, and the food was delicious – they even had all-you-can-eat crayfish! Plus, there's a mall right behind the hotel, making dining options incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, I was short on time and didn't get to experience the hotel's pool. AAnonymous UserWatching the wupeng boats slowly glide across the water, the creaking of oars mingling with the soft Wu dialect on the shore, even the wind carried the gentle scent of bluestone and aged wood. Jiajia, our housekeeper, was warm and attentive, providing exceptionally thoughtful service. She was meticulous, paying attention to every detail, explaining the map to us, circling the dyeing workshop's backyard and the century-old teahouse, and even describing the Dingsheng cake in detail. Staying here felt like immersing myself in the slow pace of the ancient town, with its poetic charm of small bridges and flowing water, and Jiajia's smile becoming the most tender memory of this journey.
