GGuest UserThe room was very clean and offered excellent value for money. The staff were all incredibly friendly and polite. For breakfast, we ate on the third floor the first day, which was spotless and had a good variety of food, meeting hotel standards. This morning, we went to the 28th floor, but the selection wasn't as extensive as on the third floor, perhaps because of the public holiday crowds. The dining experience on the third floor was much better. For a late-night snack, they even delivered knife-cut noodles to our room. The Chinese restaurant serving Shanxi cuisine was very affordable. My trip to Shanxi this time was fantastic, both for sightseeing and food. I'll definitely come back to Datong; it's a great city with over a thousand years of history.

They also gave us fresh fruits and free minibar. They had everything you would expect of a five star hotel, and the location is in a bustling part of the city. Would definitely come back.

KKeluomaThe carpet hygiene was poor. Breakfast was a nightmare. The restaurant was huge and chaotic, with no host to seat guests. It was a free-for-all, with people scrambling for tables and often sharing, which was very unfriendly. The breakfast quality was mediocre. Plates often ran out and weren't refilled, and the coffee was terrible. The specialty lamb offal noodles were decent, but most other items were pre-made and tasted very average. However, the hotel hardware was top-notch, with luxurious decor. The rooms were large and spacious, and the design was very practical. But the staff... honestly, it's hard to describe. I stayed for three days and don't typically remove my key card, but every day the staff would take it out. 😅 The first night, the water temperature wasn't hot enough. Perhaps the hotel was fully booked, but my child kept complaining about the cold during their shower. As someone from the North, I found the room temperature comfortable, just a bit dry.

That night, the housekeeper was very enthusiastic to find a pair of suitable slippers for us. The hotel did not have a refrigerator, and the housekeeper brought ice. We always felt that this service was what a resort hotel should have. Because we predicted that the hot spring would be changed that night, we decided to take a hot spring bath the next day. To be honest, the facilities are lacking, and the hot spring water is not live water, and there is no filtration. It started at 9 o'clock, and we went to soak before 10 o'clock. There were already some stratum corneum. The pavilion was filled with new water, but it also needed to be cooled down before we could go. In short, the hot spring facilities need to be improved. In addition, I want to say about smoking control. I hope the service staff can stop guests from smoking in the indoor hot spring area. There are many children, which is very inappropriate.

It's also next to Southeast Yi, a great spot for city walks. The rooms were very comfortable; even in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius, the rooms were warm and cozy. The service was attentive, and the room amenities were high-quality, matching the hotel's standards. A perfect experience! I'd love to come back in the summer!

The breakfast restaurant has a great ambiance, and the abundant breakfast is definitely worth trying, with waterside seating available. The bedroom is spacious and generally clean, with smart home features throughout, which is very convenient. The toiletries, tissues, and slippers are all high-quality, and the shower water pressure is excellent. The soundproofing in the room is also good. The only drawback is that the carpet is a bit old. The Fenglin Pavilion downstairs has delicious food, and they even give out vouchers. The complimentary bathhouse isn't worth visiting; it's very small. It's definitely worth the price during the off-season; for under 600, it's impeccable.
