Typical looking hotel-restaurant with some strong points and other aspects that can definitely be improved. Among the advantages are the affordable prices considering the average Austrian cost, the large and quiet rooms, the beautiful mountain landscape, the fine wooden furnishings of the restaurant. The service and attention to detail show some problems. The bathroom in the room has no soap in the shower, there is only a dispenser outside the box which makes use complicated (and which must also be used as hand soap). We then asked for a separate bottle, but it was not available. The cleanliness was decent, but not impeccable (one sheet was slightly stained) The restaurant food is acceptable (we tried the asparagus cream and the schnitzel), but here too there were some less than ideal situations: menu only in German, total absence of desserts, soup bread (which was actually a sort of focaccia whose oil didn't seem exceptional) being paid for separately, and a certain inconsistency between the answers received from the waiters and the reality of things. Good breakfast (also without sweets though). The staff is very young, so they probably need to gain experience to avoid these inconveniences.

This hotel is modern, clean and friendly and just steps to the center of Salzburg's historic center and restaurant/shopping district. They offer a well-stocked buffet that will appeal to guests from any country. The personnel at the front desk are professional and welcoming, from the moment you arrive to the time you check out. We were happy with everything here, but especially the location made it so easy to visit the city highlights in the morning and head back for a short rest after lunch before heading back for dinner in one of the many good restaurants in the area. They offer indoor parking, but it is for a fee.
