Orka Boutique Hotel

Recently stayed here for one week as a solo female. Have travelled to Fethiye and surrounding areas many times before but this was my first time in the area alone. I had the best week and the hotel was in the ideal location for getting about Fethiye on foot. Right on the harbour, within easy walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The hotel staff are lovely and really helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. I had a double room overlooking the mountains and I loved people watching with a cup of coffee from the balcony. The shower was LOVELY and there was plenty of space in the room to unpack. The mini fridge was also great as it meant I could grab a few drinks or bottles of water and keep them cold in the room if I didn’t fancy venturing out. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of fresh towels and robes, along with amenities in the bathroom which came in handy on my first night as I didn’t get a chance to pop to the shops and get toiletries. GloriaJeans coffee shop downstairs (direct access from the lobby) does a great cappuccino. The hotel was spotlessly clean and check-in was quick and easy. I received excellent value for money for my stay as even though it was “off-season” the weather was lovely for the majority of the week! I’ve only ever visited the area during May-September but seeing Fethiye during February was lovely as I got to see a whole different side of it and discover new places that I’d not been to before. As a solo female traveller I also felt completely safe. Most nights I was out enjoying coffee or a wine until 11/11.30pm and there were still plenty of families and couples out and about. I feel safer here than at home! Definitely recommend this hotel (and the whole area in general!) whether you’re travelling alone, visiting as a couple or with kids.
Mets Boutique Hotel

Review for Met Boutique Hotel in Marmaris: I recently stayed at Met Boutique Hotel in Marmaris and had a mixed experience. While there were some positive aspects, there were also several disappointments that affected my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would rate it as a three-star accommodation. One of the main issues I encountered was the inadequate air-conditioning in our deluxe room. The room temperature remained uncomfortably hot throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. Despite notifying the staff about the issue, the problem was not resolved, and this greatly affected my comfort during my stay. Additionally, I had requested in advance for the sofa bed to be prepared, but upon arrival, it was not done. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating, especially after a long journey. Furthermore, when I requested additional mattress sheets at night, they were not available, which was inconvenient and unexpected. The hotel's address was not clear in the reservation instructions, and navigating the stone-grounded uphill streets of Marmaris with luggage was quite challenging. This lack of clarity made the arrival experience more difficult than it should have been. The comfort of the mattress and pillows provided in the room was below par. They were noticeably uncomfortable, which affected the quality of sleep during my stay. This aspect could definitely be improved to enhance the overall guest experience. On a positive note, the hotel's location and view were impressive. The scenic surroundings and proximity to attractions added value to the stay. Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the recent renovations gave the property a fresh and modern look. However, it's worth mentioning that despite reserving a family two-bedroom room for four people, we were given two separate small rooms instead. This was not the arrangement we had anticipated, and it did not meet our expectations for a comfortable family stay. In conclusion, Met Boutique Hotel in Marmaris had its share of disappointments. The issues with the air-conditioning, lack of prepared sofa bed, unavailable mattress sheets, unclear address instructions, uncomfortable mattress and pillows, and the incorrect room allocation were all factors that affected my overall experience. Nevertheless, the hotel's location, view, cleanliness, and recent renovations were positive aspects that should be acknowledged. If improvements are made in the areas of guest comfort and attention to detail, the hotel has the potential to provide a more enjoyable stay for its guests.
Manaspark Deluxe Hotel

First thing that strikes you about this lovely hotel is the views - It sits among the backdrop of a lush green mountain valley that lowers down to a ***** of shops and bars and ends in a blue lagoon of the clearest water... So in short, its a breathtaking location. Secondly the hotels main asset is the friendliness and helpful service you get from the staff. Not that im looking, but I can't find fault with any of them. BIG shout to Erol the Entertainment manager who is just a funny guy and always adds a level of relaxed humour to the many activities that are ongoing through the day... But this isnt done in a pushy way that can be the case sometimes, if you want to just chill here in the sun, in peace, then this is defo a place to do so. Theres always a modern soundtrack of tunes bopping out from the 2 pool bars so if absolute silence is what your looking for then, bring some earplugs. Thankfully we enjoy a good varied ambience of tunage! :) The all inclusive drinks are plentiful and all pretty tastey. I love my beer and wine, and 'Efes' is a good lager, and the red/white wines are of a good standard. We enjoyed watching the entertainment, which is mostly dance oriented with a different spin every night, apart from the acrobatics and illusion shows that we missed as we were off on excursions those nights. The excursions are brilliant, Numerous boat trips and sunset cruises were the best we found. We highly recommend hiring a car for 40 quid a day and driving to Gemlier beach (proper stunning beach) and the Ghost town for lunch and a bit of culture. We also drove into Fethiye to Calis beach (free parking on the roads a couple roads back from the main beach *****). We had dinner there at one of the restaurants there and watched the sun set - Amazing!! **dont drive into Fethiye on tuesday... markets make it impossible to get in and park** Also worth the short drive to Butterfly valley to take in the view... Well worth a pic trust me. The food is always of a good standard if you like meats and fish freshly cooked on the spot, with mediterraenean salads etc and numerous vegetables. We love all this so it was perfect. If your fussey brits that just want brit boring food and breakfast EXACTLY how us brits cook our full english then you may be searching around the room a while for things you can enjoy - but im sure you will find something, its all tastey. In summary, really nice hotel with lovely staff We will certainly return to this absolute gem in Oludeniz. Thanks guys. Big Love Leo & Steph X
Bodrum Sade Pension

Can't recommend this little hotel enough. We were welcomed by the owner, rooms comfortable with lots of nice extra attention to detail. It's a budget hotel but goes above and beyond for what we paid. Hairdryer shampoo, conditioner etc, clean towels, fab shower, breakfast is Turkish, lots to choose from, more than adequate. So close to beach if you're coming for a beach hol. We came for a change, we are expats living in Altinkum. I will come back in a heartbeat. Basic but brilliant value. Five stars from us. Thank you for a lovely stay despite the weather 😍
Bodrum Vera Hotel

A very decent budget friendly boutique hotel. First of all, this place was one of the cheapest decent options in Bodrum when I was searching. The hotel was beautiful, with bougainvillea climbing on the white buildings and flowers in pots around the hotel (although some pots were empty, as if the rejuvenation before the holiday season was only half done). The room was good sized, looking like newly painted, but not spotlessly clean. The aircon worked well. The bathroom was almost bad with an ill fitted toilet seat and dirty floor. I had to ask them to send the cleaner to clean my room, otherwise it’s not done. The pool was of a decent size considering the relatively small size of the hotel. The hotel was located on a quiet one-way backstreet. Walking to the marina took only around 15 mins. There were 5 parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was bare minimum - a piece of cold meat, a boiled egg, two pieces of fried cheese sprig rolls, jams, bread, Turkish tea and instant coffee. But considering the price, it was acceptable. The staff were mostly nice and accommodating. There was just one person who stood out as a little unfriendly (bald guy, probably the manager or big brother of all the rest). The cleaning ladies could be a bit less aggressively noisy. The towels smelled of oil and that was understandable as the kitchen and laundry were opposite each other with their door’s always ajar. Despite these few minus points, I would still stay here again because of the affordability, relative convenient location, photogenic environment and (mostly) nice staff.
Ten Apart Hotel
4.7/548 Reviews
So, I stayed for one night at Ten Apart Hotel. I was in the area visiting some attractions and thought I would stay overnight for ease of access to my next attraction. The welcome at the hotel was very friendly. The introductions from the staff were personal and warm. It’s very clear from the outset that the hotel is run by a family and not a multi-national company. Really has that personal touch. The room I had was at the top of the hotel. It was very spacious and the facilities (Fridge, Shower Area, Furniture) were grand. The water pressure on the shower was a little low but, not low enough to make the stay a poor one. I did have a little issue during my stay but it was sorted very quickly by staff and then a very warm apology when checking out. The hotel is very close (10 Min Walk) to the beach front where you will find numerous restaurant’s and bars, as well as shops and ice cream stands. I didn’t get to use the pool area but, it was extremely clean and tidy. Happy to recommend the hotel.
Jash Bedrooms
2.4/515 Reviews
Please appreciate Jash Bedrooms is not a hotel. Jash Bedrooms is a large family home situated close to the centre of Gulluk and a short walk to a CarrefourSA Supermarket, the Polat Global Beach Cafe and the ”corniche” road which links all Gulluk's beaches and marinas. Location is ideal for all that Gulluk has to offer. The balconied and fly screen protected rooms, which are equipped with free wi-fi, air-conditioning, en-suite wet room facilities and satellite television are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Complementary toiletries and bath towels are provided. A small swimming pool in the garden is also available to guests. Prices are extremely reasonable and the friendly family go the extra mile to make a stay at their home a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The facilities at Jash Bedrooms comprise honest value for money and whilst there can be no realistic comparison with those provided in five star hotels, I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here. Jash Bedrooms is a welcome change from the corporate competition, with the added bonus that Gulluk is a ten minute taxi trip from the airport.

. Good points :The views are amazing, the staff are friendly The not so good points ; the location is on a very busy road with absolutely nothing nearby so its taxi or bus every time you want to leave Food : Breakfast is awful , not lot of choice unless you like eggs or cheese , salad and chips you will struggle Two choices of cereal chocolate curls or oats . Cheese and salad has wasps crawling all over it and the other options were inedible . Food you buy is better but be careful as they charged us for several items we didn’t order The rooms : It’s like faulty towers in our 7 day stay the ; glass bathroom door smashed we got locked in several times , the shower flooded the room , the safe broke on daily basis , the cleaner forgot to clean our room , the door frame actually fell off totally . The towels and bedding were badly stained and the sheets don’t fit the bed , there’s exposed cables in the bathroom The air on sounds like a washing machine on spin I must admit each issue was resolved but it became tiresome each day another thing goes wrong Our friends staying in the same hotel were given a room with no bathroom door at all they were moved rooms after 2 days . Someone else had a sheet stapled to the door frame instead of an actual door another lady had no water in shower and was standing in reception in just towel ! Last day our pick up time was 7:30pm we asked for late check out and was told by receptionist that was fine we could keep room until 6:30 At 4:30 manager started shouting at me to leave the room , we weren’t packed or washed . He got quite angry and so we quickly packed and left . When I asked him where I could shower and use toilet etc I was told to shower by poolside ! staff were horrified and apologised about his behaviour. We had to sit in reception for three hours waiting for bus to pick us up as there is no where else to sit . So be aware if your flight is late they don’t offer you place to shower and there nothing around so it long wait It’s such a shame as the staff are lovely It didn’t spoil out holiday but do think people should maybe look elsewhere for better hotel before visiting Oludeniz

RESTAURANT VISIT WITH FRIENDS TO CELEBRATE THEIR SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY (25 YEARS) Wednesday 19 June, 2024 Our dear friends booked a restaurant table for their 25th Wedding Anniversary last November because of the elevated view over Ölüdeniz and therefore wanted to ensure the best table in the restaurant was available. On arrival, the Waiter took our drinks order. His face was covered in sweat which was dripping off him. He made no attempt to wipe it off. We ordered two beers and a bottle of Rosé Wine. After receiving our drinks order, the waiter didn't approach us again to take our order! We were forced to attract his attention. Remember, this was a 25th Wedding Anniversary Meal. Approximately 45 mins after receiving the drinks order, we finally ordered four meals, three of which were for Lamb Shanks. Another 30 mins passed, and finally the waiter brought two meals to the table (one chicken dish and one lamb shank). He then stated: I'm sorry, we only had one lamb shank left! Your two guests need to order another meal! This was 30 mins after ordering! Surely the Chef must have informed the waiter that he only had one lamb shank left when the order was submitted. We would then have ordered two alternative meals. So imagine the situation. Four guests and only two receive meals. They took 30 mins to arrive. The other two guests were then told to order something different! This should have been mentioned at the time of ordering! The waiter then said the meal could be Cancelled! This is a Silver Wedding Anniversary! A special moment in our dear friends' life. Who wants to eat 30 mins apart during a celebration meal? The situation now gets much worse. The waiter was asked to bring the Manager. He replied: ”I am the Manager!” We informed him that he's allowed us to order drinks and later told us there's only two meals available instead of four! We asked why should we have to pay for drinks after this catastrophic failure! We were told we can therefore have the beers free but not the wine! At this point the situation deteriorated. The Manager started swearing in front of a woman by saying: ”Look! I'm pissed off with the Chef”! You also have to pay for the wine. A Manager's job is surely to apologise for the catastrophic failure and to ask the valued guests what he can do to resolve the situation? The Restaurant Manager could also call the hotel Manager, for instance, in order to discuss the situation? Finally, after we stated we shouldn't have to pay for drinks because we wouldn't have ordered them in the first place if we were told half the order wasn't available, the restaurant manager became very abusive, pulled the table away in front of other guests, and asked us to leave immediately. Again, I remind the readers of this review, this was a Celebratory Meal for a 25th Wedding Anniversary. We also felt unsafe because the Restaurant Manager lost control of his behaviour. We have all never experienced anything like this in
