An excellent hotel to fall out of a plane into a bed - walking time from the arrival hall to the hotel's doors is some 10 minutes. We landed 0040 and were in our room at 0130. Breakfast next morning was good - enough food, decent choice and a proper coffee machine. Few minor drawbacks: aircon was faulty (was blowing but not chilling), there was no switch to turn off bathroom ventilation and so it kept howling for the whole night (quite loud I must say) and one of the modes (large upper rainshower) in the fancy Grohe shower didn't work. Exclusively as a gesture of good will I said all that at the checkout next morning (kind of, I just don't care as we're checking out, but the hotel might wish to repair all that for the next guests...), but - surprise! - reception manager started teaching me that I shouild have called for help yesterday (uhuh, at 2 a.m.) and that it wasn't the shower faulty but I was... hmm... unexperienced enough to understand how to switch modes... The talk was probably the most unpleassnt thing of the whole stay.))
The service from Mehmet at the front desk was wonderful and the gentleman that helped us get transport to the airport was wonderful but with no air-conditioning working in our room which when we asked for someone to fix it while we went out to explore for 4 hours, only to come back and their solution was to open a window, which in fact made it almost 28 degrees in our room!
So I asked the again if they could sort it but still no help, in the end I said please move us to another room with cooling or we will need to find another hotel, so they did on a lower floor and finally it was cool, so we put some cold drinks we’d purchased on our walk earlier in the fridge, later that day we got them out and they were hot, turns out in the new room the fudge was broken, so they said they’d get us a bucket of ice, which they did, after a few hours we asked if they were going to get the fridge sorted and they said oh is the ice not cold, we said that’s melted and we are here for a couple of days. So they eventually got us a change over fridge.
When they came to change over the fridge one of the security panels on the door fell off, as did the light switch panel near our bed.
Saving grace was the food/ breakfast and pool.
Oh I forgot we went to the restaurant for dinner and my husband ordered a specialty chipotle burger for dinner and they waiter brought us a cheese burger and said here the chipotle is going to take a bit longer so I’ll give you a cheese burger instead, I’ve never been to a place that decides they will give you what they want lol
It’s was very odd.
Everything was good but I neglected to putting my AirPod into the safe box and unfortunately it is gone ! No one to blame ! Just don’t think you are at the Hilton and it is safe .
They want money for everything I requested them for late check out they refused then I asked them can I put my bags here due to I’m coming back to hotel next day they charged me for that and air conditioning not working they wanted me to open the windows which kind of 5 star is that they want money for everything
Perfect if u need to be near SAW airport. Very convenient and extremely clean rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast could be improved but it was decent. Parking is difficult in the basement as only one car can enter or exit at a time. Perhaps some solution could be found. Best is to park at the entrance but limited slots available. Overall great value for stay near the airport.
It’s really close to the airport with such a good price!! Too good to be true!
When I was looking for taxi, the taxi driver told me that it’s a fake hotel, told me not to go, and I called the hotel several times, they really answered which made me feel a bit sketchy, that’s only down part.
But I went and realized it’s a good new clean hotel, I highly recommend it because of the location and the price if you only have few hours for layover and want to find a place to take a shower and rest.
The staffs weee helpful after I arrived. The police station is nearby too, and you can find restaurants and shops with walking distance, so it’s safe and not remote.
Highly recommended!
I had a really good experience with the reception staff during my stay. They were super friendly and made checking in a breeze. It definitely started my trip off on the right foot!On the flip side, the bellboy and the guy at the entrance were a bit clueless. They didn’t offer any help with my luggage, which was kind of a letdown after a long journey. A little assistance would’ve gone a long way!Overall, my stay was pretty decent. The location of the hotel is fantastic—really easy to get to all the cool spots nearby. So while there were some bumps in service, it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

I can't say I stay in a proper Hotel. This hotel holds the name of the Hilton but it was a terrible experience. The first problem is the bathroom. Shower equipment was broken, it was very hard to maintain the water temperature and pressure. The design of the bathtubs-shower combination was horrible. You need to step up into the bath tube and it is so dangerous. The breakfast was very good but the coffee and tea were terrific. A good hotel can't buy an automatic espresso machine. They were serving low quality instant coffee. And I couldn't even drink a proper Turkish tea. Location is not bad and the city view was avarage.
Lovely and comfy room. In an odd location about half hour taxi from airport public transport not a viable option really especially with suitcases. Taxis will also try to hustle more money out of you so avoid toll routes if you can doesn’t make much difference. Breakfast was great good selection and alternate milk for allergy sufferers gym was small but compact had enough basic machines pool area small and no outdoor pool or sunbathing location, about 25 mins cab to Istanbul central.
This hotel is beautiful great value for money. The food at the restaurant is good and good price. The bed is soooo comfy and big. We had an amazing time. Will definitely come back

GGuest UserThis hotel is very good. It also has airport pick-up service and the sanitation is very good. I originally booked the hotel for two days. After I checked in, I felt it was so good that I extended it for a few more nights.
GGuest UserWe got to the hotel after midnight and was told that the room is flooded and no other room available for now. We were sent to a different hotel and told that they would have a room for us in the morning. They sent us from Crowne Plaza to Ramada (an outrageous downgrade). We slept a few hours at Ramada and checked out and returned to the front desk of Crowne Plaza. The lady at the front desk told us that there were still no room for us and we had to go back to the Ramada again. We told her we would like to speak to her manager, and she said she is the manager. I told her that the arrangement is not acceptable. Finally, she said that a room would be available in 20 minutes. What a ridiculous experience!
DdoudiWe enjoyed staying in G tower with all the facilities that made our holiday great! The staff were helpful and friendly especially Ms Neda. The location is also good for people who doesn't to be in a crowded and noisy area, the hotel was very clean and calm. We'll absolutely come back again!
CCarrie-AnneThe experienced staff were both Friendly and helpful! As I was Traveling late night early morning, I called the hotel for some assistance with a taxi service. They front desk was happy to talk to the driver and even helped me confirm pricing. As a single woman traveling I am wanting to take precautions for my safety. The room was authentic and had a comfortable warmth! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The location is close to the touristy spots with easy access to public transportation! Travelers be prepared, so many things to see and do-be prepared. I enjoyed the exciting hustle and bustle and with help I found my way on the public ferry to check out the other side for a local experience. I truly enjoyed my stay, Thank you Empire Palace
HHariI recently had the pleasure of staying at Mula Hotel in Istanbul with my family, including two toddlers, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Nestled in the heart of the old Sultanahmet area, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s within walking distance of all the major attractions, offering a perfect blend of convenience and cultural immersion. The surrounding area is a food lover’s paradise, with an array of great restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Plus, the easy access to the tram makes exploring the city a breeze.
The hotel itself is a gem. My room was not only beautifully appointed but also boasted a stunning sea view that added a special touch to our family stay. Waking up to the serene vista of the sea was truly a highlight. The hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere made our stay with toddlers smooth and enjoyable.
However, what really sets Mula Hotel apart is its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was not just professional but genuinely warm and welcoming. Their constant smiles and readiness to assist at any hour truly made me feel valued and taken care of. From getting a bottle of water in the middle of the night to personal touches like waiters remembering my omelette preferences after just one day - every detail was noticed and appreciated.
I must give special mentions to Ercan at the restaurant and Ilknur at the front desk. Their outstanding service and personal attention significantly enhanced my stay. Their professionalism and kindness reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
Coming from someone who travels significantly and has stayed in several fantastic properties across the world, I can confidently say that Mula is right up at the top, and a rarity among hotels.
In conclusion, Mula Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination that offers a memorable experience. Whether it’s the prime location, the beautiful rooms, the delicious food, or the unparalleled service, this hotel ticks all the boxes for an exceptional stay in Istanbul. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city, especially those traveling with family.
TthesiblingFirst thing to mention is the location. The hotel is located very central, walking to the blue mosque and hagia sophia is around 15 min. The area is very hilly and there are a lot of steep streets. It is surrounded by shoe manufacturers and some food shops. More on that later. Upon arrival the service was great. The receptionist spoke English and carried our luggage to the upper floor. He recommended us some restaurant for the night. The room is very clean, and the bathroom is very clean. It's equipped with a fridge, a kettle with some coffee, AC (which didn't work) and TV. The shower is big and spacious and has an extra window. There is also a hairdryer. I don't recommend opening the windows for too long as there are mosquitoes taking every opportunity to invade the room. The nights were cold and since the AC didn't work we were freezing a lot during sleep. The receptionist promised to fix it, which didn't happen tho. On the upper floor there is also a beautiful enclosed balcony where you can have a smoke with a nice view of the city at night. We were sleeping long till 11 am usually, although the area is very noisy. And we assume there are rats on the roof or seagulls which make noise. But luckily we are tight sleepers. We never had room service during our four nights stay. Therefore we had to keep the same towel. Upon request, we got a new supply of toilet paper since there was only one roll.
We checked out the recommended restaurant which was honestly bad. Don't go to the master of grill. We recommend checking the prices around and going to restaurants which strike the balance between cost and locals that are sitting in the restaurant. There is also a supermarket nearby (Kimi) which supplies us with water and even a self-made breakfast which we enjoyed on the balcony.
On the last day we wanted to see the city after checkout but the receptionist told us we couldn't deposit the luggage at the hotel in the meantime which was kind of upsetting.
All in all I still recommend the hotel due to it's amazing location, the balcony and the friendly service (and of course the good price).
GGuest UserI booked one night with city view and one night with sea view. I feel that the city view is better than the sea view because there is a Strait Restaurant on the 22nd floor, where you can eat while enjoying the Strait view, but you can't see the city view. At the same time, the city view is very beautiful, but the Strait view is not so beautiful because it is far away. It is better to take a boat to the Strait to experience it. The most important thing is that the city view is cheaper. This is just my personal opinion~
