The room is spacious by Japan standards and well-equipped with essentials like a hairdryer, electric kettle, air purifier/humidifier, air-conditioning, and basic amenities. If you opt for daily housekeeping, they’ll replenish items such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, combs, toothbrushes, razors, cotton buds, and body sponges. Towels are changed and trash is cleared daily as well.
The only downside is the lack of complimentary drinking or hot water, even at the lobby—so you’ll have to boil water using the kettle provided in the room, which can be a bit inconvenient.
Location-wise, it’s excellent—just a short walk from the train station, with a Don Quijote and FamilyMart nearby. There’s also a Daiso downstairs, along with plenty of restaurants and a game arcade.
The complimentary breakfast buffet is a highlight, offering a wide variety. It’s not extravagant but includes both Japanese and Western dishes such as curry rice, udon, pickles, grilled salmon, takoyaki, cold tofu, salads, warabimochi, sausages, chicken rings, fried chicken, cereals, milk, bread rolls with spreads, soft serve ice cream, DIY waffles, fruits, and beverages like coffee, tea, juice, and soft drinks.
Sakai is far from the city, but it is very convenient to take the Nankai train in about 20 minutes. There are also some izakayas and restaurants around the subway station, which is convenient.

This was the best stay we had throughout our 2 weeks trip to Japan! Initially I had the impression that the stay here will be very squeezy due the images shown during booking. Upon arriving at the lobby, we were early for the check in (supposedly 3pm) and staff informed they will allow early check in at 230pm instead of 3pm. The staff were all very attentive and had superb customer service. At around 220pm they suddenly allowed us to check in which the self check in process was so seamless, totally impressed firstly by allowing us to check in earlier, and the short process.
Upon reaching our room, we were even more impressed! The room was spacious where i could open all 4 luggage at once. The view outside was cast upon the river. The feature by the door where we can place our winter jackets or clothes that could be reworn was so thoughtful. The only downside was the slightly smaller bathtub which we didn’t use. The table was slightly small for 2 pax as well.
The hotel supports sustainability cleaning which allow us to choose the type or extent of room cleaning that we want which was great. Personally I totally loved the real time update of the laundry room of ALL the machines and time remained. It helped me reduced unnecessary trips to the laundry room to check on my laundry and when I want to do laundry, i’ll know whether there are available machine for use. Really appreciate this feature.
Our only regret is not trying the breakfast. It looked so good and we would definitely come back for our next visit to Osaka and have their breakfast!

I had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfortable even though the room size can be abit small. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was convenient, and overall, I enjoyed the experience. Would consider staying here again!
I recently stayed at the Park Front Hotel with my 12-year-old son for three days and two nights while visiting Universal Studios Japan. The location is fantastic—right across from the park, making it incredibly convenient. The surrounding area features a mall with a variety of dining options and vibrant nightlife, so you won't get lost.
While the hotel has an older, classic design, it’s clean and offers spacious rooms for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it for families planning to visit USJ, as it saves you the hassle of long commutes after a tiring day at the theme park.
The staff is friendly, though I didn’t have much interaction with them. The breakfast buffet is tasty with a good selection, but there are plenty of dining options nearby, including Tully's Cafe and McDonald's, so consider saving money by eating out instead. Overall, a solid choice for families, especially given the fair pricing for a comfortable stay!

The service was great and the location is great too. I stayed at a double bed room with my friend. The really concerning part is the size of the room, it was really small and we could barely open our luggages inside the room.
It’s a great place to stay if you don’t mind staying at a really crowded room at a very affordable price. Other than that, staff are really friendly and they speak English. The rooms are maintained tidy and clean!
I had to stay at this hotel late at night because I missed my flight. The person at the counter was very kind and it was a really interesting and fun hotel. I highly recommend it because you can see the local Japanese culture.

Thank you Chisun Standard for the wonderful hospitality. The hotel was well-located - a nice 10-minute walk to the giant Donki and Daiso stores. Lots of train stations nearby too. Although the railway was just beside the hotel, the sounds didn't bother us and they even provided earplugs. The hotel kindly provided complimentary coffee in the afternoon and evenings (although the coffee could have tasted better). We had a great view of the Hitachi Tower from our cosy room. Thanks again!
’ve stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was when I arrived at KIX around 10 PM — it was perfect to check in quickly and get some rest. After finishing my trip to Kobe and USJ, I returned here the night before my morning flight. The free airport shuttle made it very convenient. I really like the hotel’s facilities, the friendly staff, and the convenience store on the second floor. The is a small restaurant nearby the the food is delicious. I’ll definitely be back again.

AAngel_WongHMy fifth stay in this hotel. Rooms and breakfast are excellent, as well as the service. Location is convenient, a lot of shops, department store, restaurants around.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty good, walking distance to all the stations and shoppings I need. But comparatively to the one in Kyoto, I think the staff here are less friendly. Maybe is the culture of different cities. But I am overall very pleased with my stay with Hotel Vischio.
GGuest UserI stayed at OMO Kansai Airport for one night before my flight, and overall it was a smooth and convenient stay.
1. Location is great — super close to the train station, and the hotel also provides a shuttle to the airport, which is really helpful if you have luggage or an early flight.
2. Self check-in was smooth, and there were staff nearby to help if needed, which made the process quick and easy.
3. The restaurant has a nice night view. I went there around 8pm for dinner. One thing I didn’t realize at first — you have to order your food at a self-order machine before entering the restaurant. I was a bit confused, but the staff were really kind and gave me clear instructions.
4. The mattress wasn’t what you'd expect from a typical memory foam or spring mattress — it felt more like a tatami-style mattress. But honestly, I found it acceptable and still slept pretty well.
Overall, a very efficient and comfortable airport hotel with friendly staff and a touch of Japanese charm.
AAmarFromUKLocation:
Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet.
There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day)
Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage
Hotel Room:
We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes
But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything.
Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay
Hotel features:
Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views.
The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free.
The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day.
Staff:
Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful
Overview:
100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.
MMsTravellerAn excellent hotel with many little things that makes it so thoughtful.
There’s some free food and snacks in the afternoon. With hotdogs and make your own pancake station!
In the room, there’s a machine to provide some form of Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) Technology for tired feet.
Best of all, it’s so conveniently located next to Universal Studios Japan. I love it.
GGuest UserThe Good: Excellent location - very close to the Shin-Osaka metro (about 5 min). A 10 min walk to the JR Shin-Osaka station where there is also a shopping area. A lot of nice food and combinis nearby. Two of the front desk staff were really service-oriented, one Chinese staffer allowing for luggage to be kept earlier than my stay (thank you!) and also a young Japanese staffer who was thoughtful and kind, attentive to the guests at the elevator.
The OK: The laundry team is doing its job well - the sheets, pajamas and towels were clean (which is why the cleanliness score is a 2 rather than a 1 - see The Bad below). The other front desk staff did respond to queries with appropriate responses. There is a laundry room with two machines for the entire hotel, on the ground floor; similarly there is one microwave for the entire hotel, on the ground floor. I suppose they are functional enough, but I wish there were more facilities and not in such a public area.
The Bad: The hygiene and cleanliness were terrible for a Japanese hotel standard. Gross stains on the room floor and room walls, some gross sticky substance (looked like snot) and someone's leftover hair on the bathroom wall. The trashcan also had a sticky substance still on it. How is this acceptable?? The room slippers were unlikely to have been sanitised - one of them still had a really long hair stuck to it. Their way of ”changing” room slippers is to put an ill-fitting thin pad on top of these unsanitised slippers. Really mind-boggling. The TV remote had so much dust on it, and the phone had gross stains on it - neither looked sanitised at all either. I had to clean up my own room to make it liveable for my time staying there. I'm sharing a few photos here, but these are only a percentage of what was really unsanitary about the room. Also, feedback about the poor cleanliness was given to the front desk and written on Google, but neither the front desk nor anyone on Google (say their PR or management team) offered to do any form of service recovery. The other front desk staff often engaged in their own chitchat even while guests approached.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Juso Station, making it easy to access public transportation. The staff are very friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant check-in experience. The bathroom is clean and well-maintained; however, the water drainage in the bathhub could be improved as it doesn’t flow well. Overall, it’s a good choice for short stays, especially for its location and service.
