I was able to stay cheaply because the business hotel was vacant during the stepping stone holidays. There is no problem with the equipment. There were times when I was a little worried about the sound of water. Breakfast is a small sausage, grilled fish, potato salad, etc., and seaweed and natto are also served if you wish. They had lots of complimentary amenities on offer in the lobby including different types of teas, skincare products, hair products and bath products. The room itself is your typical business hotel. It was clean, had an all in one bathroom, small desk and air purified and humidifier. The bed was comfy and there was room under the bed to store smaller luggage items. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a convenient budget option

The lobby also provides various supplies that can be freely used, which is very considerate. The room space is also good, comfortable and spacious, and the overall stay experience is satisfactory.

Great hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to JR central train station with limited car parking facilities directly behind the hotel and next to a local train station (which we forgot the name of the station as we rented a vehicle). If you drive to the hotel and decided to use the hotel car park (subject to availability), the hotel will charge you ¥1500.00 per night with unlimited entry and exit within the next 24 hours. Of course there are plenty of other car parks nearby too which offers cheaper rate for parking but you’ll have to hunt around or just pay the ¥1500 for the convenience. The onsen (indoor only no outdoor and the water is milky) is located on the 2nd floor which is the same floor with the hotel only restaurant which offers buffet breakfast. The gender separated onsen closes at midnight and won’t be opened till 9am the next day so you’ll need to time yourself well. There is a laundry and dryer self service facilities with vending machines and complimentary ice making machine on the 2nd floor for your convenience. Breakfast is a typical western and Japanese affairs however you won’t be left hungry. Service is of typical Japanese affairs where you will be greeted each time you walk past the reception. The hotel encourages you to pick up tea bags, onsen body scrubs, tooth brushes, combs etc next to the ground floor lifts before you head up to your room. If you stay more than a day but less than 3 days, the hotel won’t provide room service but they’ll gladly change the towels and clear the bins for you. We are allocated to a smallest room on 11th floor (room:1106) facing the Yodobashi multi story car park, so request for any middle rooms facing the train station would get you a bigger a better view. Comfortable stay and nice bed and good bathroom and for the price we pay, we have no complain.

Love the fact that it is just above Sendai station. Very convenient to drop off shopping bags when shopping around the area. Or to take trains to Yamagata or Matsushima for day trips. Room is clean, small but still can open 2 mid sized luggages.

Check-in payment is manned, and the elevator is a type that touches the room key to the sensor and presses the floor button. Although it is a single room, the room is large to some extent and there is no feeling of pressure, although it is small, there is a sofa and a desk by the window, the desk has a power outlet and a LAN port, and the pillow has a power outlet and a USB port. The TV on the wall and Wifi are both down and up, and I am grateful for disposable slippers. There is no large communal bath in the hotel, but the bathtub in the room is large. The breakfast venue is a general Japanese buffet at the restaurant on the first floor. There were other local dishes such as beef tan curry, sasakama, pork and miso Miyagi Imoni, and if you say your own, there are long eggplant pickles, triangular oil fried, zunda, etc. ... We stayed one night for trip to Tohoku. Hotel was brand new and SO CLEAN! Location: Literally 3 min walk from station. If you have luggae, it's tricky: come out on 2nd floor, going through connected bridge and use elevator at PARCO then ground level and hotel is next door. Great location walk to everywhere, has beautiful starbucks downstairs. Morning market is right behind the hotel; we were hoping that we could get some breakfast early in am. When we went at 8am, not many stores were open yet. We were able to get local strawberries for decent price and it was really good. Room: Got Relax Twin Room. Has electric massage chair in room with corner views. Views were not that great but room was very spacious, hollywood twins. Separate tub/shower and vanity was very nice, very nice decor. Coin Laundry: This hotel has coin laundry (all-in-one with dryer) and that's the reason why we stayed. We were able to see if Washer is in use or not with room TV which was GREAT. I felt we could have stayed other 2 nights (stayed at Metropolitan East due to its location) at Daiwa, it was very nice stay. Brand new, clean hotel in great location and great rates. I'd go back again next time next time!

Hotel Keihan Sendai has just opened. I was able to stay at a low price with the combination of Jalan's special opening plan and GOTO. I visited by private car, but there is a parking lot (Hot House Aoba-dori Daiichi Parking) in the basement. 1500 yen per night. Directly connected by elevator. Convenient. The location is next to the 77 Bank head office along Aoba-dori. Check-in is done by yourself on the touch panel and payment is made at the check-in machine. In addition to cash, credit card payment is possible. The room is a single room on the 9th floor. I was able to see Aoba-dori from the window in the corner room. The equipment is also new. The temperature of the lighting and air conditioner can be adjusted in 0.5 degree increments with the tablet at the bedside. The TV is a 43-inch made by Panasonic. You can also see mirroring of smartphones and YouTube. The unit bath is reasonably large. There is a lounge and Starbucks coffee machine on the 2nd floor, which you can get for free. (The next time I stay, I will have breakfast.) When I go to Sendai, the number of hotels I want to use again has increased.

Moreover, it is a relatively new hotel that opened in March 2020. Breakfast for one night is 4500 yen and a coupon for 2000 yen is also included. Check-in is simplified by reflecting the history of Roynet usage. This is helpful every time. The room is a moderate twin on the 8th floor, and you can worship the ginkgo trees on Hirose-dori below. The windows were also large and I felt a feeling of openness. The bed is relatively hard, and the bedside is conveniently equipped with an outlet and USB. The desk is also large and the chair made of Okamura is very comfortable to sit on. The bathroom and toilet are separated, the bath is rounded, and the shower can also be used for rain showers. 高台にあるから眺めが良く、立地的にも、松島海岸駅からすぐ近い。 とは言え、かなりの傾斜を上がるので、電車で来た私たちは、シャトルバスを利用。 この大観荘のシャトルバスは、松島観光中心部を経由して、ほぼ一日中循環していているからありがたいです。 ロビーは広々しています。 質問があって若いスタッフに声をかけると、「研修員」の名札をつけていました。 一緒に、その上司であろう人がいましたが、研修員に対応させ見守っている様子が、なんとも和やかに感じました。 同じ感覚が、夕食の時間にも。 男性の上司が（確か名札は菊池さん）が、若いスタッフを連れて、テーブルへの案内やブッフェの説明をするのですが、私たち客に対してだけでなく、研修員にも親切で感じが良い。 この上司の下だったら頑張ろうって気になるし、本来のサービス業とは、なんぞやを学べるのでは、と思いました。 ホテル（旅館）の格付けに関わらず、良いホテルは従業員の教育が徹底しているだけでなく、いかに客に心地よいサービスを提供できるかにあると思います。 泊まったのは、海側和洋室。 古い旅館で年季が入っているんだろうな、と不安でしたが、リノベートしたらしく、思ったより綺麗で広さも十分でした。 松島湾を臨むパノラマヴューも申し分なし。 冷蔵庫は空で、お水のボトルはありませんでした。 残念。自動販売機でお水は160円。 トイレ、バスルームは別で、綺麗でした。 館内着はクロゼットに浴衣がサイズ豊富に揃っていました。 大浴場は、温泉ではなく沸かし湯で残念ですが、浅めのインフィニティ露天風呂は気持ちがよく、松島湾を一望でき良かったです。 男性用、女性用と朝晩入れ替わらないので、景色は男女ともほぼ同じなのでしょう。 サウナはありませんでした。 夕食はブッフェにしては具材が良く、期待以上の充実したディナーでした。 切り分けて頂いたローストビーフは、お上品に薄く一枚とかじゃなく、ドンとサービス精神良し。 火が通り過ぎてる？と思ったけど、柔らかくて美味しかったです。 松島なので蒸牡蠣やカキフライも。 そして大ぶりの海老チリソースも良かった。 お刺身は、まあまあ。 ちょうど苺フェアをしていて、デザートは苺三昧で嬉しかったです。 反面、朝食はイマイチ、というか、まあ一般的。 お値段以上の滞在でした。ありがとうございます。 The hotel is on top of the hill over looking Matsushima Bay. The panorama view is just wonderful. The location is close to Matsushima Kaigan station, however, since it is quite a steep climb. If you come by train, I suggest you to take a complimentary shuttle bus provided by the hotel which runs through the Matsushima tourist area almost all day long. The lobby is spacious. When I had a question and approached a young staff member, she was wearing a name tag that read ”trainee.” and she was with her boss. I felt a pleasant feeling that her boss was watching over her with smile and kind manner. The same feeling happened at dinner time. The male boss (I believe his name tag is Mr. Kikuchi) with the young staff lead us to the tables and explains the buffet. He is kind and considerate not only to us customers, but also to the trainees as well. Being trained under this boss would likely understands what a customer service industry is like. Regardless of the rating of the hotel (inn), I believe that a good hotel not only has thorough employee training, but also the ability to provide considerate service to guests. I stayed in a Japanese-Western style room facing the sea. I was worried that the inn would be outdated, but it seemed like it had been renovated, and it was much nicer and spacious than I expected. The panoramic view overlooking Matsushima Bay is also perfect. The fridge was empty and there were no water bottles. disappointing., though. Water from the vending machine costs 160 yen. The toilet and bathroom were separate and clean. As for in-house wear, there was a closet stocked with yukata in a wide variety of sizes. The public bath has boiling water rather than a hot spring, but the shallow infinity open-air bath was pleasant and had a great view of Matsushima Bay. By private car: Located about 25 km from Sendai and Ishinomaki along Route 45, and about 100 km from Kesennuma. By train: About 20 minutes on foot from Matsushima Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line, or Matsushima Kaigan Station on the JR Senseki Line. It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the station. Within a 5-minute walk from the hotel, there is Fukuura Bridge (a pier to Fukuura Island), a sightseeing boat dock, and Zuiganji Temple, making it a base for sightseeing in Matsushima. The hotel building faces the national highway, but the entrance is in the back of the alley on the sea side from the national highway, so if you follow the tourist guidebook, you can reach the hotel without any problems. The building is located between the coastline and the national highway along the cliff, so it has a slightly complicated structure and there are differences in elevation, but there is almost always a slope installed where there is a step. The interior is barrier-free. The hotel itself has a long history and the exterior of the building still feels old, but the interior is kept clean and the single rooms are spacious and comfortable. I am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before. Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here. Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.

It was an inn near Shin-Toyama, a mountain with a magnificent view. Rather, it's the only hotel in Korona-ka that has the largest capacity of any of the most closed accommodations, and is commendable on its own. In the plan I used, the price was less than 10,000 yen, but I was satisfied with everything. I've seen reviews after I got home, but it's not worth the criticism. I will tell you that the room, food, and customer service were all good enough to make you smile. Especially, the ”Hitomebore” rice was extremely delicious.

The accommodations themselves were subpar and in dire need of renovation. My room was outdated, with worn-out furnishings and a general sense of neglect. The cleanliness standards were questionable, and I encountered several maintenance issues throughout my stay. The lack of attention to detail and upkeep was simply unacceptable. In terms of dining options, the hotel fell short yet again. The on-site restaurant served mediocre food with limited choices. The quality of the meals was average at best, failing to impress even the most casual of diners. The lack of variety and flavor left me disappointed and longing for better culinary experiences. Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the hotel was lacking. The atmosphere was dull and devoid of any character or charm. The common areas felt neglected and poorly maintained, further contributing to the overall sense of dissatisfaction. In conclusion, my experience at the 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 was far from satisfactory. The lackluster location, indifferent staff, outdated accommodations, underwhelming dining options, and overall lack of care and attention to detail made for an unenjoyable stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and memorable experience in Sendai.

The two prospect hot springs on the fifth floor are top-notch! Men and women rotate in the morning and afternoon. There is also a hot spring on the first floor with massage services. Massage is not recommended. The sofa area on the third floor overlooks Matsushima and offers a variety of free drinks and snacks. Very relaxing area. 40 minutes of free karaoke can be reserved before 8 pm, and there are Chinese songs to choose from. The hotel is directly connected to the glass pavilion next to it, and you can visit it for free with your room card. Bicycle rental is free. Breakfast and dinner are very rich and delicious. Dinner is a buffet of 11,000 yen per person including tax. There are also many choices of drinks and wines. The oyster rice and chestnut cake are especially recommended for dinner. The sanitation of the hotel is very good, and the attitude of the service staff is also good. The hotel provides free bus transfers between Songdo Station and Songdo Coast Station. Lots to love in the town of Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture. 1.5 hours N of Tokyo, Sendai Shinkansen stop. This hotel was very conveniently located next to the local train station. Has elevator. Rooms fit 4 for sleeping on futon/tatami mats. Pluses: traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were worth the experience! Hot Spring/bath area was clean (older but ok). Rooms equipped with tea service and instructions. Very close to all the action in town. Coffee machine with cappuccino and espresso in lobby. Potential opportunities: absolutely no one speaks English. Pantomime and google translate resolved successfully. Serious minus of the hotel is the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke, particularly common areas. Non smoking room not available. That all said, I’d stay there again for location and food. I’d open the window wider. Staff was delightful and very gracious.

Stayed for family trip in the prefecture. I was happy to have two children in the room with a wide 々 with a veranda. The view from the veranda was also very good! I was very grateful to have beds attached in advance and prepare extra beds for children. There was a bed for 1 people, but I slept with everyone in a big bed, but I could sleep well even if there were bad children (laughs) The meal was very delicious. When I had a question and approached a young staff member, she was wearing a name tag that read ”trainee.” and she was with her boss. The male boss (I believe his name tag is Mr. Kikuchi) with the young staff lead us to the tables and explains the buffet. He is kind and considerate not only to us customers, but also to the trainees as well. Being trained under this boss would likely understands what a customer service industry is like. Regardless of the rating of the hotel (inn), I believe that a good hotel not only has thorough employee training, but also the ability to provide considerate service to guests. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here. Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. Lots to love in the town of Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture. 1.5 hours N of Tokyo, Sendai Shinkansen stop. This hotel was very conveniently located next to the local train station. Has elevator. Rooms fit 4 for sleeping on futon/tatami mats. Pluses: traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were worth the experience! Hot Spring/bath area was clean (older but ok). Rooms equipped with tea service and instructions. Very close to all the action in town. Coffee machine with cappuccino and espresso in lobby. Potential opportunities: absolutely no one speaks English. Pantomime and google translate resolved successfully. Serious minus of the hotel is the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke, particularly common areas. Non smoking room not available. That all said, I’d stay there again for location and food. I’d open the window wider. Staff was delightful and very gracious.

The hotel is a kind of 2/3 star Ryokan, the owners are very kind, especially the lady running the hotel, she found somebody to take my luggage upstairs and back down when I was leaving. In fact the elevator is not in use.... BFast was not included in my plan, so I paid extra ,just a few hundred yens , I tried the japanese and the western BFast, both were average . The Ryokan is not new , but rooms are very spacious and they ressemblent more to a japanese flat, comparing with the surface of other hotels' rooms I had in Japan. The room was spotless .. There is also a hot bath at 3rd floor, where I went 2 times, smal but pleasant, I was the only user, at those times. I also had dinner at the hotel, in a nice Japanese style dining room ( where I had BF too ...), the menu is Korean , and had for the first time fried oysters from Matsushima bay.... The room was very quiet at night and I liked this japanese style type of rooms, I think I' d go there again , they also have a good quality/ price rate ...
