I really enjoyed my stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier. The location is amazing—just steps from Nagoya Station and with a Komeda Coffee nearby that we loved. The hotel has a modern design, comfortable and clean rooms, and even an onsen, which was a big plus after long days out. The staff were kind and helpful, although their English was not as strong as in some other hotels. The Wi-Fi was a bit weak at first, but they quickly installed a router in my room when I asked, which solved the problem. Overall, a very pleasant stay

Extremely satisfied! When I was booking, I hesitated a bit because the total price for a 7-night stay wasn't cheap. However, I decided to book it after seeing that it's close to the station, has spacious rooms, and the beds in the twin rooms are larger than those in other hotels. Upon arrival, I was so glad we chose this place; it was incredibly convenient. Nagoya Station is directly accessible from the hotel. This made getting to and from the airport, traveling to other cities, visiting Legoland, and meeting for our day trip to Shirakawa-go all incredibly easy and saved us a lot of hassle. There's a food street on floors 12-13 directly downstairs, where we enjoyed several meals. The lobby is on the 15th floor and features Japan's highest Starbucks. A shopping mall is also directly accessible downstairs, making shopping at Takashimaya very convenient. For an extended stay, comfort is key. The rooms are spacious, offering city views. The shower is large, and the bath amenities are comprehensive. The complimentary capsule coffee machine and other in-room provisions were also quite nice. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with incredibly convenient access. If budget isn't a concern, I highly recommend it for families traveling with children.

Good, with disclaimers. I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a positive experience. The staff was very attentive and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay feel welcoming. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was excellent, everything was well-kept and tidy. Most of the services offered were reliable and convenient, contributing to a comfortable stay. On the other hand, I did encounter some frustrations with the hotel rules and partial disclaimers. Certain policies felt restrictive or not clearly communicated, and in some cases, the fine print didn’t fully match what was initially advertised. This created some unpleasant surprises. In summary, the hotel provides a clean environment, friendly service, and good amenities. However, they could improve transparency and flexibility regarding their rules to make the guest experience ok, not great, just ok.

For convenient day trips, my initial thought was a hotel near Nagoya Station. However, I unexpectedly discovered that the Sakae area also offered free shuttle services for day tours, so I booked Comfort Hotel Sakae. It was very quiet, offered excellent value for money, and the view of the Ferris wheel right outside the window was fantastic.

Just right for us visiting family while in Japan. Most staff can speak English & help in any way they can to make your stay more comfortable. Cleaners are exceptional in their attention to detail in every respect. Front desk staff are efficient & friendly. Convenient to Bullet train & local trains. A delightful experience overall. We are return customers with several stays over the years, will happily stay again on further trips.

Located in the heart of Nagoya, this hotel is just a 200-meter walk from the subway station. There's a massive 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs. Just two streets behind, you'll find plenty of dining options and bars. We chose this hotel because of its excellent central location, making it incredibly easy to get around. The rooms are a bit on the small side, so for two adults and two children, we booked two adjacent twin rooms.

Hotel Forza is conveniently located in a quieter street off the main shopping street in Sakae. A 5-minute walk takes you to Parco, Matsuzakaya and Don Quijote. There is lots of good food nearby too. Osu is a 15-minute walk away. We booked a room for three pax with a double bed and a sofa bed. The room looked bigger in pictures but was still sufficient to open two big suitcases and still had space to walk. As mentioned in some reviews on Google, there was a musty smell when we first entered the room but after that, we probably got used to it and were not too bothered by it. The room is quite dusty though. There was a layer of dust on the top of the cupboard after our 5-day stay. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I was looking for a doctor as my child was unwell and they were helpful to call the doctors I have searched and helped look for clinics/hospitals I could take my child to. Would definitely stay here again because of its good location!

The 32-square-meter room with three beds was an acceptable size. The hotel was clean, and the staff were polite. Although there was no Chinese service, their English was good. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation. The only downside was the slightly long 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station (according to Google Maps); I later found that getting off at Fushimi Station would have been a much quicker walk. Nearby, you'll find a Don Quijote, Life Supermarket, and a selection of specialty restaurants. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

Inuyama is a small town that can usually be explored in half a day, so an overnight stay isn't always necessary. However, if you choose to take your time and spend a night there, this hotel is definitely your best bet. The hotel is relatively new, so its decor and facilities are pristine. The expansive glass wall in the lobby provides a fantastic view of Inuyama Castle across the way, and when combined with the hotel's reflection on the water outside, the overall vista is truly stunning. The hotel also boasts a natural hot spring on the first floor, featuring both indoor and outdoor baths. This onsen, nicknamed 'Hakutei no Yu' (White Emperor's Hot Spring), is the only natural hot spring in Aichi Prefecture. Interestingly, its name is connected to Li Bai's famous poem about departing Baidi City, as Inuyama Castle itself is also known as Hakutei-jo (White Emperor Castle). Adjacent to the hotel is Yu-en, a garden that guests can access without an admission fee. You can also experience a traditional tea ceremony there for 600 JPY. The National Treasure Jo-an Teahouse nearby was also built by Oda Nobunaga's younger brother. The only real drawback is the hotel's somewhat isolated location; there's absolutely nothing in the immediate vicinity, not even a convenience store. We had to walk over a kilometer to find a place to eat. However, this long walk allowed us to witness Inuyama Castle beautifully lit by the evening sunset, which turned out to be a delightful unexpected bonus.

KKeaiaimeishaodexiaoxingVery good overall! There's a really delicious tempura restaurant downstairs, located right off the lobby. A supermarket is conveniently located next door. You can also pick up a 5% discount coupon in the hotel lobby. The facilities are quite new and excellent. Service is decent, although there's no Chinese-speaking staff. Each guest can receive a complimentary face mask and a small sunscreen sample daily. Complimentary facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion are also available for guests to use. Toothbrushes and other basic toiletries are provided. There's a coffee machine in the lobby, but the coffee quality is pretty average. The location is excellent – it's right at Exit 6 of Jinshan Metro Station. Plus, there's an elevator available if you prefer not to take the stairs.

Jjhleite2The hotel is located in a really nice place, close to the Nagoya station and bus terminal, and also close to several large shopping malls and areas full of bars and restaurants. Check-in was quite straightforward, with guests being given an access card for their locker and elevator. The hotel's agents have a very decent English for Japanese standards. The two elevators are separated, with one exclusive for male guests to reach their exclusive floors and another one for female guests and their exclusive floors. The access card also locks and unlocks their locker, which is tall but also a bit narrow, but wasn't too much of an issue to store by backpack, bag and shoes. Guests are given sleepwear, slippers and towels, and the shared bathrooms are fully furnished with amenities. Common areas include the lounge in the highest floor and the café in the ground floor, well-decorated and quite coherent with the hotel's famous minimalistic and futuristic design language. The sleeping room has its signature look and offered decent space, even though not the largest capsule of its kind. There is one power outlet, a rotating light switch that allows the user to choose the light intensity, and two small compartments to hold glasses, phones or whatever. The pillow and blanket weren't my favourites but it's up to each person to decide. Like all capsule hotels, ventilation might be a problem so a fan or an AC outlet would be nice to have, but it's not a problem exclusive to 9h. In the end, it wasn't the best bed I've slept but I enjoyed the overall experience. The crew was nice, the hotel was organized and clean, the location was near everything I could need, and the price was also nice. I recommend this location for those who don't want to spend much in lodging and plan to spend most of the day outside and just want a place to rest for the night.

GGuest UserThey said simple breakfast but it had a good variety of food. Curry rice seemed to be their speciality. People got up early during holidays and when I got there before 730, the restaurant was quite busy. Some trays were empty but they came to refill it soon after. The room is not big but it was a good size for a solo traveler. A bit far away from the Nagoya station but very easy to find. Notice there is another Meitetsu Inn in other side of the station so don’t go to a wrong one. They have self check in/out machines so it was easy and smooth. Staff are polite and friendly too.

PPuay ChenIt was an excellent hotel to go for before an early flight the next day. It's literally in the same terminal as the international airport and a leisure walk to check in. Boy, i will glad I made the choice. The new wing was an absolute delight with beautiful sea views, newly renovated rooms, and carpeted flooring. They have clever storage spaces enough for 2 big luggages to be opened fully. We paid for their sumptuous breakfast. Best to book with breakfast included in room, if you have a choice. They have a wide selection of Japanese and western choices. Amenities wise, they had generous supplies of Pola in sachets to take from counter. They are really superb quality. And shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are from Pola too. Last minute shopping and food You'll be spoilt by choices with so many popular food joints to choose from. And best of all, there is Drugstore for last-minute shopping and food souvenir shops selling popular snacks from New York Perfect Cheese to Sugar Butter sands. There is no need to queue, and it's tax-free.

NNoasis## TIAD, Autograph Collection, Nagoya: Where Modern Luxury Meets Impeccable Service As part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, TIAD, Autograph Collection, Nagoya, left a lasting impression on my trip with its stylish design, outstanding service, and prime location. Opened in 2023, this hotel perfectly embodies its brand philosophy, 'Tomorrow is Another Day.' From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I could feel its dedication to creating a relaxing and enjoyable stay for guests. Here's a detailed review of my stay from various aspects. ## Prime Location and Convenient Transportation TIAD, Autograph Collection, is ideally situated in the heart of Nagoya's bustling **Sakae shopping district**. Located at 5-15-19 Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi, this prime spot scored a remarkable 9.4 out of 10 and serves as an ideal base for exploring Nagoya. The hotel entrance is just a 20-meter walk from Subway Exit 1, making transportation incredibly convenient. However, it's worth noting that most Nagoya subway exits lack elevators, so guests with large luggage should be prepared. The hotel's surroundings offer a surprisingly rich array of commercial facilities. **PRACO department store** and **Don Quijote discount store** are just steps away, and luxury brand boutiques like LV and Prada are within a few minutes' walk. Matsuzakaya Department Store is just across Hisaya-odori Park, and the entire Sakae district is only one subway stop away, catering to all kinds of shopping needs. Food enthusiasts will also appreciate the area, with a famous Ichiran Ramen branch within walking distance. There are also numerous restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the nightlife is vibrant. Even after 10 PM, you can see young people gathering and street dancing, revealing a lesser-known lively side of Nagoya. ## Modern, Stylish Design and Comfortable Guest Rooms The hotel's design beautifully blends **modern style with a touch of understated luxury**. Its overall aesthetic bears some resemblance to EDITION hotels, particularly in its lighting design and selection of hard finishes. The lobby, located on the fifth floor, is adorned with extensive stonework. It looks particularly stunning at night when lit up, resembling 'a luminous pearl suspended in mid-air.' The terrace outside the sixth-floor Executive Lounge features exquisite moon-themed lighting and offers a panoramic view of Nagoya's iconic TV Tower, making it a popular spot for guests to take photos. As a Titanium Elite member, I successfully used a Marriott Suite Night Award to upgrade to a **Junior Suite**. Spanning approximately 40-50 square meters, it's remarkably spacious for a Japanese hotel. The room's design thoughtfully balances functionality and aesthetics. Each bedside table is equipped with a smart control tablet. These tablets allow one-touch control of room lighting, appliance switches, and temperature, and you can even activate the 'Do Not Disturb' mode from bed. It's incredibly high-tech. One tablet can also function as a TV, supporting external displays. The new, large TV features a one-touch Netflix connection, which allowed me to binge-watch an entire series during my stay.

QQi HUILocation wise it’s around 8 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Wouldn’t say far but definitely not near either. Rating I would give is 3.8/5. Not exactly at the most bustling district but there’s this main shopping district - Osu which is within walkable distance! Do head to take a look! Else everything is definitely satisfactory. I love the breakfast buffet (served 6am to 9am) everyday. Selection of proteins is not bad. Free flow eggs… The menu differs slightly everyday. Hot bath from 630am - 4:00pm and at evenings till the midnight. Feels great! (Didn’t take pics due other users’ privacy) It’s empty and there’s no one else whenever I went, so it feels exactly like a private space to relax. Housekeepers are super friendly too. Toiletries are placed at the public areas in front of the receptionist. Do remember to take before you set into the hotel! Makes up good experience in japan.

RRobert JohnA1 location directly above Nagoya Station and adjoining Meitetsu Department Store. Direct access from Nagoya Station via lift from B1 level. Didn’t use any eateries in the hotel as excellent choice of restaurants, cafes and bars in the vicinity. Room cosy - as expected in Japan, but practical with all necessary amenities provided, including a nice capsule coffee machine. Hotel decor a little dated but served its purpose. Walls not very soundproof, could hear conversations from neighbouring rooms. Vending machines and free water dispensers on each floor with convenience store within the same building. Good four-night stay with no complaints.
