Hotel de La Couronne Liege

I stayed here for 2 nights and what a lovely place it was. Right opposite SNCB Liege Guillemins station so super easy to get to and there are a few places to eat and drink around the hotel so no problems there. Breakfast was fine and filling and also there are a number of local buses stopping at the transport hub over the road. A nice spot indeed and clean and comfortable.
Yust Liege

We had booked a suite to see what the best possible experience in YUST could be. We were lucky to do so. The room had a quite luxurious feel to it, with some cosy elements like the curtains around the bed, that in combination with the turning TV could make the bed feel like a private cinema! The cleaning was oke and all necessary kitchen tools were available. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the rooftop, and the city construction works around the building make the parking a bit difficult to find. All taken into considerations, I would recommend!
Amosa Liège City Centre Hotel

The hotel is very quiet, good position. In view of the previous comment I'm glad we refused the room behind the llft & went instead to 306 at the end of the corridor. The staff are friendly & helpful & breakfast is fresh & varied. But the room ! Clearly the designer has never spent a night in it. Drab colours, black furniture & a dog's-mess-brown sash across the beds. The open bathroom may not be to everyone's taste ( it wasn't to ours ). The reading lights are recessed over a wide wooden ledge & just not strong enough to read in bed. The light switches are difficult to get at under the ledge. For those who like to shave, illumination is only available on forehead & the tip of the nose : the rest is in shadow. Possibly the toughest challenge was blocking the water in the basin : there is no plug. Perhaps there is, in the elaborate high-tech tap fitment. If so, neither reception nor housekeeping, both appealed to, knew anything about it. Finally shoved a hand -towel into the plughole, just like the bad old days in Eastern Europe. Take your own

Negatives Reataurant was closed for 2days of my stay they advertise great dining here but closed no comunictaion to let me know this very poor. No snack foods or any bite size foods to offer at all extremely poor service here. Breakfast very poor choices of food generally not a great deal of food on offer. Nobody at the bar serving drinks had to ask reception to call someone everytime very poor clearly understaffed.
Pentahotel Liège

Easy to find in city centre, has parking next door. Reception lobby is more of a bar/restaurant - definitely unusual, but we had no problems checking in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable with some nice design touches. Wifi worked well. Only -ve was aircon is behind curtain so didn't work well at night, but will only matter on hottest days. Breakfast was good, although we ate out in the evening as we felt we ought to see the evening life on the streets of Liege. Traffic is currently tricky because of tram line construction, but will be great once that is finished. DOn't let it put you off.
Ibis Liège Centre Opéra

Breakfast for more than 100 RMB, we did not eat. Hotel room is very small, two double beds can only be together, Samsung LCD TV, fewer outlets, the bathroom is very good. The bedding is very good. Liege is a small city with a sparsely populated area and urban planning. This hotel is already very good in the local area, but it is not comparable to China.

We stayed here in liege for the Belgian Grand Prix. I was away at the track most days and did not spend much time in the main hotel area except for breakfast and the occasional drink in the evening. The hotel was located in the outskirts of liege next to a major road about a 30 minute walk from the main train station or approximately at €10 taxi. being in room 33 which is the closest to the road I had no issues with getting to sleep. If your a light sleeper a pair of noise cancelling ear buds would be a good fix. The room was moderately sized and featured everything I would need. The only thing possibly missing was a mini fridge to keep things cool. The dining area was a little bland. They offered a buffet style European breakfast with fresh fruit, breads and yogurts. The bar was sp**** but for a small hotel it was more than enough. They offered a selection of Belgian beer on draft and bottle along with a standard spirit selection. The staff were friendly even if some had poor English. They were able to organise taxis to and from the hotel when I arrived and later when checking out.
Van der Valk Hotel Liège Congres

We reserved a standard room with breakfast and boy did we like. The room was very spacious and we got access to the spa. The Breakfast is fresh. A lot of variety and we loved every minute of it. A must stay. The spa was nit the biggest but fun when you want to relax after a day of shopping. Spa is open from 8 am till 10 pm. Bath robes and slippers are provided in the room. The hotel is situated 10 min walk from the old town.

Short stay 1 night as a couple. Regarding the welcome, it was, the staff was very pleasant and explained things quite well. Be careful when you arrive, their underground parking costs €20 and this is not specified in the description. Concerning the rooms, I didn't like them, certainly they are modern and very clean, but for sleeping it was horrible. The noise of the ventilation is very loud, a lot of light from outside enters the room, despite the curtains. The mattress, for my part, was horrible, too soft, but my girlfriend appreciated it. For the bathroom, there is not very cold water, the coldest is lukewarm. Our shower was poorly insulated, water was coming out of the door. There were 3 ”free” drinks in the fridge, that was really good. For the elevators, it's quite special, there are 3, but only 1 goes to the SPA. They are very scary, very small, make a lot of noise, you don't have to be claustrophobic, especially since once, you got temporarily stuck inside because the reception button didn't work. Concerning the SPA, it is great, there is a classic sauna, a Finnish sauna, a wave sauna, a hammam, a swimming pool (quite small unfortunately) and a magnificent jacuzzi, if you are lucky enough to go in, because it always has people in it.. The breakfast was impeccable, lots of choice, no complaints. In conclusion, it is certainly a nice hotel, but which does not deserve the price paid (170€ per night, and again it was with discount...) and which is more like a 4 star than a 5, in my opinion based on previous experiences. For the outside, Liège, we didn't really like it, first and last time. Very poor place, abandoned, under construction, very dirty.. We are happy to return, it's sad to say.
