This botanical garden, full of poetry and Japanese garden style, brought me a beautiful adventure! 🌸🌿📜
When I stepped into the Manyo Botanical Gardens in Nara, I was mesmerized by its beautiful landscape. This place seems like a freehand poem, with the fragrance of flowers and greenery everywhere. I strolled through the carefully arranged Japanese garden, as if I were in an enchanted dream. 😍🌸🌿📜
Manyo Botanical Gardens is famous for its rich plant species and seasonal changes. I admired a variety of flowers and trees here, from blooming cherry blossoms to lush green maple leaves, each plant showed its own unique beauty. I particularly like cherry blossoms in spring and maple leaves in autumn. Their colorful, elegant and charming colors make people intoxicated. 🌸🍁🌿
In addition to viewing plants, Manyo Botanical Garden also offers many interactive experiences. I attended a flower arrangement workshop, learned the techniques and art of flower arranging, and left my own creations as beautiful memories. I also participated in a tea ceremony performance, tasted authentic Japanese tea and exquisite wagashi, and felt the elegance and grace of Japanese culture. 🌺🍵🎋
Nara's Manyo Botanical Gardens is a place full of poetry and Japanese garden style. It showcases the beauty of plants and the changing seasons, and through interactive experiences, I was able to experience the charm of Japanese culture more deeply. Tokyo Travel Diary|Day 1: Encountering Kamakura and Senso-ji Temple
"Tokyo, here I come!" As soon as I got off the plane, the air in Tokyo was filled with a unique freshness.
🌊 Kamakura is a blend of youth and romance. The Enoden train slowly passes by, taking me through the streets of this seaside town. Standing at the railroad crossing in front of Kamakura High School, scenes from the anime "Slam Dunk" keep flashing in my mind. The sun generously shines on the tracks and on the faces of every pilgrim who comes here. In the distance, the Shonan Beach, with its waves gently lapping the shore, offers a breathtaking view of the sea and sky. Here, time seems to slow down, and every breath is filled with the taste of youth.
🏯 Leaving Kamakura, I headed to Senso-ji Temple. As I stepped into the Thunder Gate, I saw the giant wind chime gently swaying in the wind, making a crisp sound. Walking along Nakamise Shopping Street, the shops on both sides are filled with exquisite Japanese paper crafts and delicious traditional snacks. Inside the temple, the air is filled with incense smoke, and people pray devoutly. Looking up, the five-story pagoda stands solemnly and majestically, striking against the blue sky and white clouds.
Today's first experience in Tokyo includes the youthful energy of Kamakura and the ancient sacredness of Senso-ji Temple. With the good weather and the Dazz camera FXN R filter, every photo I took turned out stunning. I look forward to the rest of the journey!"

A Cozy Gem in Kokubunji: Kurumed Coffee☕️
#celebrateit
Tucked away in the heart of Kokubunji, Kurumed Coffee is a delightful café that offers a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for a casual day out. The café’s interior is charming, with wooden accents that create a cozy, rustic vibe, making it an ideal spot for unwinding or catching up with friends. The vibe is cute and peaceful, inviting you to relax and enjoy a slow-paced moment.
On my visit, I couldn’t resist ordering the café’s signature cake. It was a delightful treat, topped with fresh strawberries and a generous layer of whipped cream. The combination was light, yet indulgent, making each bite a sweet moment of bliss. It's the perfect balance of fruity freshness and creamy goodness!
Here are two reasons why I highly recommend Kurumed Coffee:
1. The cozy and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax or work.
2. The delicious cake topped with strawberries and whipped cream is a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.

nice ambience
There is no shortage of impressive cafes in Japan. This too happens to be a lovely cafe, with great coffee. Staff were excellent and very friendly. This is the place where I felt the most comfortable as a non japanese speaker, as the staff could communicate very well in English.
They are very popular and can get very crowded so it might be difficult to get seats. The baristas are efficient and working non stop.

KURUMED COFFEE
KURUMIDO COFFEE is a popular cafe in Nishikokubunji.
It was lunchtime on a weekend, but I was able to sit down without waiting due to good timing.
I ordered a Krumido Cake Cream Apple, a popular menu item.
The kurmido cake tastes like a muffin and is topped with baked apples and cream.🍎
It is assembled to order and served hot.
The gentle sweetness of the cake batter and the apples go really well together. The volume is also very satisfying!

[Tokyo/Kokubunji City] A hidden Western food bar with a relaxed atmosphere loved by locals 🍷✨

💞Reasons why we recommend it:
Western food and bar zumi is a restaurant where you can enjoy a leisurely meal in a calm atmosphere.
The chef's recommended wines and seasonal menu are displayed on a blackboard, and you can enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients.
This time, we tried zumi's favorite beef carpaccio and seasonal gratin✨
Beef carpaccio is a dish that you should definitely try when you come to zumi.
The texture is somewhere between steak and roast beef, with a perfect balance of meatiness and tenderness...!
The original oil sauce and condiments are addictive, and once you try it, you'll definitely want to eat it again.
The gratin is served hot, with a crispy outside and melted cheese and steam oozing out of the inside, it's the best✨
Perfect for special occasions like important anniversaries and birthdays!

A great restaurant near Kokubunji station! [Yakiniku Inoue]🥩
The interior is stylish and clean, and the tables are quite spacious, so you can sit comfortably⭐︎
The cocktail salad looks beautiful and tastes great! The refreshing jelly matches the meat and vegetables, and I wanted to have a second serving♪
The fatty tuna is the restaurant's pride and joy, and it was my favorite dish♡
Both the salt-grilled and sauce-grilled dishes are excellent!! I was very satisfied because I could try all kinds of different parts^ ^
The staff also grilled the grilled shabu-shabu with sudachi ponzu sauce, so I could eat it at the perfect temperature!
The cold noodles at the end were refreshing, and the soup was delicious, so I drank it all☆

💞Reasons why we recommend it:
All pancakes are made by whipping egg whites after receiving an order.
The meringue and batter are then mixed together and slowly cooked on a hot plate, one side at a time, with a lid on, to create the fluffy pancakes that are unique to Eguu-san✨
This time, we had the brulee pancakes that are only available at the Kokubunji store!
The two-tiered caramelized pancakes are the best, with a crunchy brulee on the outside and a fluffy, chewy texture inside...!
The sweetness of the custard and vanilla ice cream goes really well with the bitter caramel sauce.
They were the tastiest pancakes I've ever had, so I definitely recommend trying them at least once!

Manyo Botanical Gardens: A Colorful Picture of Nature
#Tokyo Attractions
The most eye-catching thing about Manyo Botanical Garden is its rich and colorful vegetation landscape. Various rare plants and trees are distributed in the park in an orderly manner, like a three-dimensional natural painting.
Being in it, it feels like being in a natural paradise full of vitality.
In addition to the colorful natural beauty, this botanical garden also has a fascinating cultural heritage.
Various poetry steles and cultural relics are scattered throughout the park, like historical relics lost in the world, demonstrating the long-standing cultural heritage of this land. While strolling through it, you can't help but feel the profound dialogue between nature and humanity.

On the way to the shrine, Mt. Fuji🗻 was visible.
Two different kinds of trees are firmly rooted on either side of the shrine building.
The well remains, and the lion-dog statues were erected in 1936, and the second torii gate⛩ in 1937, so it is believed that they were rebuilt.

[Tokyo Attractions] Tonogayato Gardens - Birds singing in the stream
#Tokyo Attractions
Occasionally, a gentle breeze blows by, creating ripples on the lake, adding a lively and moving charm to the tranquility and peace.
Stroll slowly through the mottled shade of the trees in the Tonogaya Garden and enjoy the natural scenery of this poetic and picturesque garden. Deep in my heart, my love and yearning for life are infinitely magnified in this spring-filled environment, becoming the most eye-catching color in this pleasing Jiangnan scenery.
Walking along the path, clouds and mist slowly flow through the forest, and light and shadow chase between the mottled shadows of the trees. The sound of gurgling streams can be heard not far away, and the clear and melodious chirping of birds can be heard from the deep forest from time to time, composing a piece of natural and vibrant music that is like the sound of nature for this painting.

[Shooji Temple/Tokyo] A healing temple where Makara welcomes you
Shooji Temple in Kokubunji, Tokyo
𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃
Shooji Temple is an Obaku sect temple whose mountain name is Mount Kurogane.
In 1726, Muramin Giuemon made a wish to revive the abandoned Shooji Temple,
so he took over the uninhabited Shooji Temple in Kokubunji Village and made it the temple of his choice.
And so it has remained to this day.
In front of the mountain gate, which is the entrance, there is an impressive pair of Makaras. There is a bamboo grove on the side, and the temple exudes a very nice atmosphere.
When you enter, you will see the Daigando Hall on your right.
If you go straight ahead, you will come to a stone bridge, and below it is the Hojo Pond. Carp are swimming gracefully. In front of you is the large main hall, which is impressive.
Also on the right, along with the Shoin and Chikakuryo, there is a Japanese cypress tree, a type of evergreen. Previously, there were trees on either side of the main hall, but one has died and only one remains. It is a tree with a sturdy trunk and beautiful branches.
There is also a cafe on the grounds where you can relax and unwind.

It was later burned down in 1885. It was rebuilt but due to deterioration, the current shrine building was built in 1975 and made of concrete.
From the torii gate to the shrine building, it is very wide, and the vermilion-painted shrine building stands out.

[Seibu Line, Ogawa] Get lost in the Showa era
#TokyoTourism
It was snowing and cold, and I wanted to go to a public bath, so I searched for one
and found Sakae-yu in Ogawa on the Seibu Line.
It's a public bath with a ticket counter, just like in the Showa era.
The inside is very spacious,
and I thought, "Oh, I saw this on a TV drama."
It's cultural heritage level.
On the street is Kappaya, a popular izakaya with a nice atmosphere.
Everything is cheap, delicious, and "warm." Only a privately owned store can do that.
When I asked the owner, he said that this neighborhood will be redeveloped and they will be evacuating in the spring.
A customer was lamenting that.
On the way back, I stopped by a greengrocer and bought some homemade pickled vegetables.
There are several places along the Seibu Line that still have a nostalgic atmosphere, which is soothing.
Nakai Station is also just a short distance from Tokiwa-so.
