[Tokura Shrine/Tokyo] A 100-year-old sacred cypress tree takes root

Tokura Shrine in Kokubunji, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 When Tokura Shinden was developed in 1729, Mishima Shrine in Tokura, Itsukaichi-cho, Nishitama-gun, was enshrined as the guardian deity of the village, and the shrine was enshrined as Sanno Daigongen. In 1869, it was renamed Tokura Shrine. On the way to the shrine, Mt. Fuji🗻 was visible. Two different kinds of trees are firmly rooted on either side of the shrine building.
