[Shooji Temple/Tokyo] A healing temple where Makara welcomes you

Shooji Temple in Kokubunji, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 Shooji Temple is an Obaku sect temple whose mountain name is Mount Kurogane. In 1726, Muramin Giuemon made a wish to revive the abandoned Shooji Temple, so he took over the uninhabited Shooji Temple in Kokubunji Village and made it the temple of his choice. And so it has remained to this day. In front of the mountain gate, which is the entrance, there is an impressive pair of Makaras. There is a bamboo grove on the side, and the temple exudes a very nice atmosphere. When you enter, you will see the Daigando Hall on your right. If you go straight ahead, you will come to a stone bridge, and below it is the Hojo Pond. Carp are swimming gracefully. In front of you is the large main hall, which is impressive. Also on the right, along with the Shoin and Chikakuryo, there is a Japanese cypress tree, a type of evergreen. Previously, there were trees on either side of the main hall, but one has died and only one remains. It is a tree with a sturdy trunk and beautiful branches.
