New Taipei. San Diao Ridge| #Kuangena
Thanks to my friend for bringing me here. The Kuan Ge series that I have admired for so long, I finally unlocked it today in Taipei ✌🏻
Whether it's pasta, pizza or desserts, every dish here is amazing. This time I specially ordered #Homemade Shrimp Pasta. The taste is really rich. Shrimp lovers must not miss it! In addition, I was also impressed by the #ItalianpizzaSandwich. The crust is kiln-baked and wrapped in a wonderful combination of caprese salad and raw ham. The crust is very chewy and tastes great. I'm not sure about the base of #ICEBREW bubble tea, but it's refreshing and thirst-quenching. Every bite makes you feel the care and deliciousness of the food. push push

A clean beach! Watching the sunset, playing with sand, and enjoying the water are all great experiences here. It's also a perfect spot for a weekend getaway.
With the gentle sea breeze, sitting and watching the sunset is quite relaxing. There are stone and wooden benches under the trees where you can cool off, or you can bring a mat for a picnic under the trees.
The scenery is beautiful, making it a great place for the whole family to enjoy the water. Just avoid the time around noon as it can get really hot.
There are coin-operated showers available for 10 NTD per use, where you can rinse off the sand from your body and feet.
Enjoying the Sunset at Shalun Beach in Tamsui, New Taipei City
Remember to follow Cute Principal for more updates 🥰
The transportation is quite convenient. After taking the light rail to Shalun Station, it's just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Just follow the crowd and you won't get lost!
The beach is very clean, extending all the way to Fisherman's Wharf. Half of it is rocky terrain with a rich ecosystem of hermit crabs, small crabs, small fish, and seaweed. Currently, swimming is prohibited, so you can only enjoy the beautiful scenery!
It's not as crowded as popular tourist spots, making for a leisurely visit. There's a faucet at the entrance for washing your feet, but you might have to queue if there are many people. The nearest restroom is at the convenience store nearby.
SHIFEN STATION
A MUST VISIT, bustling hub for those eager to get a glimpse of an old railroad town which still retains the charm of yesteryear. Originally built to transport coal, the Shifen Old Street stop has now become one of the most popular on the Pingxi rail-line. It is easy to see why so many are drawn here - local food, souvenir shops and puffing trains add to the charm of this little gem, as well as make it a fantastic place for photography. Sky lantern is one of popular activities here, Worth to try!
Lost in Jiu Fen
Jiu Fen old street used to be known as the spirited away animation. Many say that Ah Mei tea house looks like the bath house in that animation and many claimed it was inspired by Jiu Fen old street. However Miyazaki (the author) debunkers the rumours. It has a lot of ‘No Face’ character in most of the souvenirs shop. However this time I saw very little of it. Nevertheless, it still worth to visit, it still giving ghibi vibes. The nearby mountains also very nice place to hike for the sunset. Definitely will come again to explore more 🤩

Queen's Restaurant is located near the picturesque Yehliu Geopark and is renowned for its fresh seafood and beautiful coastal views. The diverse menu is perfect for seafood lovers, especially with a variety of crab and abalone dishes prepared in different ways. We opted for the steamed crab: preserving the crab's natural flavor, paired with soy sauce and vinegar to enhance the sweetness of the crab meat. The wine-steamed abalone: steamed with rice wine, highlighting the abalone's sweetness and tender texture. Other seafood dishes are also seasonal, leaving a lasting impression. 😋😋😋

I'm not coming to Jiufen Old Street again!
Located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, Jiufen Old Street is a place full of historical charm and unique charm. It was once prosperous due to gold mines, and gradually became silent with the decline of the mining industry. But in recent years, with its well-preserved Japanese-style architecture, charming mountain city scenery and rich cultural connotations, it has once again become one of the popular tourist destinations. Walking on the winding old streets, as if in the scene of Hayao Miyazaki's animated film "Spirited Away", every brick and tile tells the story of the past.
📅📅📅Itinerary📅📅📅

Shopping for Souvenirs in Jiufen
1️⃣ Jiufen Ah Xin's Shop Ginger Tea
- Mango Jelly, Lychee Jelly
This jelly shop can be found by walking straight along the entrance line of Jiufen. The price is 1000 TWD for 5 pieces.
Both the mango jelly and lychee jelly are not too sweet, making them a good choice for a post-meal treat.
Each piece is individually wrapped, which is nice. The size is not small, and it comes with a separate spoon.
2️⃣ Misty Nougat Crackers Jiufen Branch (米詩堤甜點王國)
There are two types of boxes: small and large. The large box contains 25 nougat crackers, while the small box contains 15.
3️⃣ Xing Fu Tang Jiufen
Xing Fu Tang is a famous bubble tea shop in Taiwan. Fortunately, there is a Xing Fu Tang at the entrance of Jiufen, so I tried a cup. Normally, it costs 100 TWD, but in Jiufen, it's a bit cheaper at 90 TWD.
It feels like stepping into a movie! Jiufen, full of local Taiwanese atmosphere.
I visited Jiufen in Taiwan, and it was truly a unique and beautiful place. It felt like stepping into a scene from a movie. The narrow alleys and stairs lit by red lanterns were especially charming. There were many tea houses where I enjoyed a traditional cup of tea while taking in the scenery. Exploring the small shops in the alleys was quite fun, and I got to taste some local foods as well. Although there are quite a few hills, the views are so stunning that it's definitely worth the effort.
