Experience Yangshuo off-peak and immerse yourself in a landscape painting With summer heat yet to arrive, we avoided the crowds and took our family to Yangshuo to discover the poetry hidden in its mountains and rivers. Our choice—Yushan Xiangshe Homestay in the Yulong River Scenic Area—became a delightful surprise during our journey. The homestay boasts an excellent location, providing easy access to Yangshuo town and nearby attractions. The third-floor pool became our children's water playground, with complimentary swim rings adding laughter to family time. Opening the window revealed the elegant lotus pond, and soaking in the room's bathtub instantly melted away fatigue. The spacious courtyard was a perfect leisure spot for quiet, heartwarming family chats. We rented electric bikes to ride along the Yulong River trail, feeling the breeze and surrounded by greenery. We visited the Yulong River Scenic Area and Ten-Mile Gallery, drifting downstream on bamboo rafts while admiring the picturesque landscape. At dusk, the sunset at Gongnong Bridge was breathtaking—the sky bathed in tangerine hues, marking a romantic end to our day.
