Travel to Yangshuo during off-peak season, unlocking a unique vacation experience. Before the summer holidays, we avoided the crowds and headed to picturesque Yangshuo with our family. This time, I found a hidden gem in the Yulong River Scenic Area – Yushan Xiangshe Homestay, and embarked on a delightful journey. The homestay boasts an excellent location, very close to Yangshuo County and various scenic spots. The swimming pool on the third floor is a children's paradise, with free children's swimming rings allowing them to play to their heart's content. The romantic bathtub provides a comfortable bathing experience, and the overall decor is exquisite and beautiful. The spacious courtyard was an even bigger surprise; on rainy days, children playing with umbrellas in the courtyard made for heartwarming photos, and a family chat around the table filled the air with warmth. We rented electric bikes to cycle along the Yulong River Greenway, weaving through the lush mountains and clear waters; we experienced the beauty of nature at the Yulong River Scenic Area and Ten-Mile Gallery, taking bamboo raft drifts to admire the scenery on both banks; we strolled through Xingping Ancient Town, exploring old streets and ancient opera stages; and the must-see was the "Romance of Song Dynasty" show, with its stunning stage effects depicting Yangshuo's thousand-year history, truly immersive.
