Xuancheng Crocodile Lake | See Crocodiles to Your Heart's Content

Crocodile Lake is a must-see in Xuancheng. The park is vast and aims to educate through entertainment. There are very few places that specialize in raising crocodiles, so seeing these ancient creatures is a novel experience. Walk along the main road to the innermost part of the scenic area and follow the signs to see the most crocodiles. At noon, most of the crocodiles lie on the shore and rest, motionless. They are so lazy that even if you tease them with leaves, they won't even lift their eyelids. I really envy them. There are also many crocodiles at Qianlong Lake, and you can see them up close. Other pools are not recommended, as you probably won't see any crocodiles, and even if you do, you won't be able to see them clearly because of the distance. It's also very hot. After seeing the crocodiles, you can visit the Chinese Alligator Museum, which is on the right side of the entrance. 👉Tour route: Turn right after entering the park and walk 200 meters to the Dinosaur Park ➡ Walk 300 meters to the Chinese Alligator Education Center (i.e. Chinese Alligator Museum, 📢 closed on Mondays) ➡ Walk 100 meters to the Crocodile Rock Carving ➡ Walk 50 meters to the Secret Crocodile Area ➡ Walk 50 meters to Monkey Mountain + Longyin Lake (there are a lot of crocodiles, but they all lie on the shore like sculptures...) ➡ Walk 100 meters to Qianlong Lake, where there is a road leading directly out. Be sure to visit Qianlong Lake, which is the cover photo location and a great place to take photos (there are also many crocodiles). ✅There are more than a dozen large dinosaurs and a large lawn in the Dinosaur Park. ✅There is a fish feeding area (you can bring bread) at the entrance of the Chinese Alligator Education Center, and there are many interactive games and crocodile models in the museum. ✅There is a huge crocodile sculpture at the Crocodile Rock Carving, and children can climb onto the crocodile's head. There is a small crocodile lake here, but there are not many crocodiles. ✅The door below the Secret Crocodile Area is closed, and there is a bird-watching platform above where you can see the crocodiles below and in the distance. There are many egrets perched on the trees. ✅There is only one monkey on Monkey Mountain, and it seems that many people feed it, so it is full. There are many lazy crocodiles lying on the shore. ✅Qianlong Lake is the first picture. It is a great place to take photos.
