Xuan City Spring Trip to Jingting Mountain: A Handy Guide

1. Ticket Information • Tickets are CNY 50 online and on-site. • Discounted tickets are CNY 30 for those with a discount card. • Seniors over 60 and Xuan City locals (with ID) can enter for free. 2. Parking Guide • There are three parking lots in front of the main entrance: at the foot of the mountain, opposite the Shuangta Temple, and next to the ticket office (including official and temporary parking lots). • We recommend driving directly to the parking lot next to the ticket office to avoid a long walk. • Arrive early to park in the official parking lot, or follow staff instructions to the temporary parking lot if you arrive late. 3. Tour Route • Enter the scenic area and follow the main road. • At the Guzhaoting Archway, we recommend taking the side road to the Tomb of Princess Yuzhen to experience the ancient atmosphere. • After visiting the tomb, return to the main road and continue climbing. • You can rest and visit the Shitao Memorial Hall. • There are two paths in front of the memorial hall: a gentle mountain road and a steep stone staircase. Choose according to your physical strength. • Both paths eventually lead to the mountain road. Continue to the main peak of Jingting Mountain, Yifeng. • Enjoy a panoramic view of Xuan City from the viewing platform. • A small road in front of the mountain leads to Wangjiang Pavilion, but the scenery is average, so we don't recommend going. • There is a Tianji Pavilion on the other peak, Cuiyun Peak. Visit if you are interested. 4. Descending and Returning • Return to the Shitao Memorial Hall and take the mountain road down (a longer distance). • At the foot of the mountain, you will find an unattended scenic area gate, a hidden free passage. • Continue forward, bypass the Guangjiao Temple wall, pass the small reservoir, and reach the temple square (the temple is temporarily closed). • Continue forward to the temporary parking lot. • Parking fees are paid at the foot of the mountain. 5. Other Information • Jingting Mountain is not high (over 300 meters), and it takes about two hours to climb up and down. • The mountain is full of poetry, calligraphy, and statues, making the climb a cultural experience. • Enjoy this cultural journey!
