One-day tour of Xuancheng City, perfect itinerary recommendation

We went to Xuancheng during the National Day holiday, but we used a little trick to perfectly avoid most of the crowds. We enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery, urban landscape, cultural history, and unique flora and fauna of Xuancheng. It was a perfect one-day parent-child tour: 1. Overall itinerary planning: Jinting Mountain - Internet-famous restaurant in the city - Xuancheng Museum - Chinese Alligator National Nature Reserve. The attractions are close to each other, and you can also enjoy the recommended restaurants in the city (breakfast: Tongqinglou Fresh Meat Bun, lunch: Master Ding's 205 Noodle Restaurant, dinner: Wu's Sanpang Di Guo Chicken). 2. It is best to arrive one day in advance, so you can go to the first attraction, Jinting Mountain, early in the morning before most people gather. After all, Li Bai, the famous poet, mentioned it seven times. For specific ways to play, you can refer to my special Jinting Mountain guide. If you climb the mountain at around 8:00 am, you can come down before 11:00 am, and then find a 205 Noodle Restaurant to enjoy the local specialties. Any restaurant is delicious. 3. During the holidays, you can visit Xuancheng Museum at noon when there are not many people. It is connected to the Planning Museum, where you can learn about Xuancheng from the perspectives of time, history, and reality. There are few people at noon, and there are rest areas and charging stations for your convenience. You can take a break here. 4. You can leave the museum at around 2:00 pm and go to the largest Chinese alligator breeding base in China, which is only a few kilometers away. There is plenty of parking space at the entrance. The scenic area is more like a forest park, with large areas of oak trees, bamboo forests, redwoods, pine trees, etc. It is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a walk. There is also a dinosaur park, peacocks, monkeys, etc. Although there are not many animals, it is very suitable for children, who can have fun here. The Chinese Alligator Museum in the scenic area is particularly great, with comprehensive science popularization about Chinese alligators, various replicas, interactive technology games, etc. Children can learn while having fun. However, the cultural and creative products are a bit lacking, and I couldn't find a suitable souvenir. 5. After leaving the gate, you can follow the navigation to go back to the main road, or you can take the small road on the left to the main road, passing by the meteorological observatory, which is also a good choice for children to learn about science. This itinerary allows you to conserve some energy while enjoying rich content. Since other attractions are far apart, you can go to the Xuan Paper Culture Park and Taohuatan on the second day after finishing the city tour, and then go to Jixi Longchuan and Meiganling Viewing Platform on the third day, and then go to Huangshan for a more gradual experience!
