Exploring Xinjiang

During my two years working in Xinjiang, I've visited almost all the characteristic attractions across both Southern and Northern Xinjiang. Yesterday while touring Ili, I took several sets of photos. I originally wanted to capture the starry sky using professional mode, but my shaky hands made the results look like meteor showers, so I had to give up and switch to night scene auto mode instead. Accommodation conditions significantly impact travel experiences. Most scenic spots in Xinjiang are remote, making hotel construction costly. Mountain dwellings are mostly semi-permanent structures that can only use wooden piles rather than concrete foundations, resulting in limited room conditions. Moreover, many scenic areas belong to the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, so ordinary homestays without proper permits often lack complete utilities like running water, electricity, and internet. Accommodation prices are generally high - basic conditions cost around 600-700 yuan, while better environments meeting fundamental needs range from 2,000-3,000 yuan. For friends traveling to Xinjiang, I recommend visiting during off-peak periods. The time between May Day holiday's end and the month's close is ideal - fewer crowds mean better experiences. Once June summer vacation begins, tourist numbers surge and prices skyrocket accordingly. Wishing all friends visiting Xinjiang a pleasant journey and bountiful experiences!
