Hustai National Park - Fantastic animal viewing.

This national park is famous for its wild horses, which are located there, and live day and night, as well as any season (even in winter) in the great outdoors. We entered the national park the evening after our arrival, as well as the morning after, and saw a lot of horses. Great little National Park, about a one hour drive from Ulaanbaatar. Nice reception area and gift shop. The food at the restsurant is very good, and the information video they show you is well done. The viewing of Wild Horses is amazing !! We counted 101 of the 320 total in the herd. Lots of red deer, and huge birds soaring about. Beautiful scenery.
