Gandantegchenling Monastery - Several Temples with Chanting Monks

#falladventures #familytravel #travel Located in the city of Ulaanbaatar, Gandantekcherin Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Mongolia and a sacred place where the local people still feel strongly religious. One of the most impressive features is the huge 26-meter-high statue of Kannon Bosatsu, which rises in the main hall. It was so powerful and majestic that I couldn't put into words how it shone in gold, and I was fascinated for a while. In the morning hours, monks chant sutras and reverberate in a soothing silence. It's a tourist destination, but it's also a place where you can relax and not just take pictures. It is also beautiful in architecture and decoration and is highly recommended for those interested in Buddhist culture and Mongolian history. When I was sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar, I felt it was a waste to leave without visiting here.
