Tektonik Records - a vinyl-lover's haven in Ubud

Per chance you were sauntering along the dark Jl. Sri Wedari of Ubud, right after checking in a budget guest house, feeling fresh and clean, and across the street you see a record store. Without any expectations, and much like a moth drawn towards the flame, you walk towards it, inevitably sucked in. And your visual, artistic and auditory palates were not let down. Some Indonesian folksy tune, maybe from the 60s playing in the background, serenading the stacked record collections, and vintage radio cassette players on the shelves. If you are an undefeatable collector of records and other pertinent vintage items, then you would not miss the Ultraman action figures, among others, lined up on display inside the store. To find a store such as this in a place like Ubud is definitely a unexpected treat.
