Imperial Palace & East Gardens

Walking around the Imperial Palace felt like stepping into Japan’s royal history. The actual palace isn’t open to the public, but just seeing the grand bridges and moats was amazing. I loved exploring the East Gardens—it’s so peaceful, with beautifully maintained landscapes, old castle ruins, and little ponds reflecting the sky. The cherry blossoms in spring are absolutely breathtaking, and in autumn, the golden leaves create a dreamy vibe. I imagined what life must have been like for the emperors who once lived here! It’s crazy how this quiet, traditional space exists in the middle of a huge city like Tokyo. I spent a long time just sitting under a tree, soaking in the atmosphere. It’s a great spot for a relaxing stroll or even a cute picnic. Definitely visit if you love history, nature, or just want a peaceful escape from the busy city!
