Cherry Blossoms

Somei Yoshino Sakura—the most widely planted cherry blossom variety in Japan was photographed on March 29th at Toneri Park. Somei Yoshino Sakura is the most prolifically planted variety among all cherry blossoms in Japan, with a slightly pinkish-white hue. It is most beautiful when in full bloom en masse, especially after the peak bloom, when the whitish petals fall like cherry blossom blizzards, creating a romantic ambiance reminiscent of a manga!
