Taketomi Island - The sea from the west pier

It's about a 30-minute bus ride from Ishigaki Airport to the port. From there, it's a 15-minute ferry ride to Taketomi Island. I stayed overnight, so I really enjoyed the empty ocean in the morning and the sunset around 7:30pm. There were a few clouds, so the sunset was cloudy, but it was beautiful. The clouds reflected on the sea created a fantastic view. Also, although it's difficult to photograph, if you go to Nishi Pier around 9pm, you can see the stars really well. It was so beautiful, it looked like they were falling! I recommend staying overnight, as you can spend time when there are fewer tourists around.
