Shetou Mountain in Penghu Is More Chill Than It Sounds

#chinatravel Checked out Shetou Mountain in Penghu, T'Ai-Wan and no it is not as intense as the name makes it sound. Honestly it felt more like a walk with views than a real hike but I was totally fine with that. The trail is short and super easy. No climbing or scrambling or anything crazy. Just a breezy path with ocean views, some cool ruins and a few shady spots to take a break. The wind out there is no joke though so maybe hold on to your hat. What makes it cool is the vibe. You are walking along this historic site with old military stuff and these epic views of the sea. It is peaceful and a little eerie but in a cool way. Great spot for pics and just zoning out. Did not break a sweat but still felt like a nice little adventure. Bring water and maybe some snacks and just enjoy the sea breeze and quiet.
