Dapao Rock Looks Like a Cannon and Feels Like a Secret Spot

#chinatravel Went to check out Dapao Rock in Taipei City, Taiwan and it turned out to be one of those lowkey spots that makes you go wow how is this right in the city. The hike is short and not too tough which is great if you are not in the mood for a full workout. The trail is mostly shaded with trees and has a peaceful vibe. You will probably hear more birds than people. Then you get to the rock and boom it is this giant formation that kinda looks like a cannon pointing over the edge. Super cool. The view from up there is awesome. You can see the city, mountains and a whole bunch of green. Not crowded at all when I went so it felt like a personal lookout spot. No special gear needed just decent shoes and some water. Great for a quick escape without leaving Taipei. Chill hike good views and big rock energy. What else do you need?
