It was built in 1934 as Xinhua Street Office during the Japanese occupation period. The architectural style of Xinhua Street Office is the late Renaissance theater style, with an arc-shaped eaves at the entrance and a classical porch design. During the Japanese colonial period, this place was an office space. After World War II, it was changed to Xinhua Town Office. After that, the town office moved to another place and the building was idle for a long time. Due to the construction of an underground parking lot, the entire building was temporarily moved to the fruit and vegetable market parking lot. After the underground parking lot was completed, it was moved back again. Currently, the Xinhua Street Office has also become a restaurant.
