Footprints of History: Tour of Anping Fort

#Taipei Attractions When I stepped into the park of Anping Fort, a feeling of going back in time came over me quietly. This ancient castle stands in Anping District, Tainan, witnessing the changes in Taiwan's history. Walking on the stone steps of the ancient castle, you can seem to hear the echoes of history, and the footsteps and noise of the former soldiers seem to come to your ears. The red brick walls of the castle have weathered the years and still firmly guard this land. Climbing up the city wall, I looked out over the entire Anping District. The sea breeze was blowing gently, and the azure ocean and the green plains were intertwined, presenting a picturesque scene. This is not only a military defense line, but also a witness to Taiwan's history and culture. Whether it is the construction during the Dutch period or the subsequent wars and changes, they have left a deep mark in this ancient castle. Standing on the ancient castle, my heart is filled with awe for the past years. This ancient castle not only makes me feel the weight of history, but also makes me think about the stories that belong to this land.
