🌸The coast overlooks the cobalt blue sea and is one of the top 100 beaches in Japan. Cape Shakotan is surrounded by a series of steep cliffs and is the only coast where you can descend to the shore. It is at the end of a tunnel dug to carry herring up the mountain.
