Is this naval museum/observatory tower in Seville worth it?

#celebrateit People who have planned a visit to Seville would likely struggle to decide how many days to spend in the city. Because there seem to be many good places to go. Torre del Oro is among the most mentioned. It is a naval museum as well as observatory tower. It’s said to be free, but upon entrance I was quite forcefully reminded a few times to “donate” 3€. When I said no, the staff gave me a cold shoulder. So unless one’s determined to say no to donation, it might be safe to assume 3€ as the admission fee. But there’s not much to see inside at all, with all due respect. There are only three levels, each of which consist of a circular walkway and could be finished in 20 steps. The observatory at the top doesn’t give access to too great of a view either. Most importantly, there are too many great attractions in Seville that’s literally free, like Plaza Espana, Museum of Fine Arts etc. So unless you have a week in Seville, I don’t think this place should be one of the priorities.
