San Francisco, a city travelogue with emotions hidden in the fog

#July Travel Support Fund San Francisco was attractive as soon as I arrived, with its cool sea breeze and sea fog. The houses on the hill and the Golden Gate Bridge seen from afar felt like symbols of the city. The first day of the trip started at the Golden Gate Bridge. The orange bridge was much more magnificent in person, and I was able to enjoy the ocean and the city view at the same time while walking on the bridge. The view of the bridge and San Francisco from the Marin Headlands Observatory was truly an unforgettable scene. After that, I took a boat and visited Alcatraz Island. This place, which used to be a prison, still had a creepy atmosphere, and I listened to vivid stories from that time through an audio guide and toured the solitary confinement cells and prison. For lunch, I had sourdough clam chowder at Fisherman's Wharf. Sea lions were leisurely resting at Pier 39, and the lively atmosphere felt thanks to the street performances and souvenir shops. The zigzag road on the hill, Lombard Street, was a perfect place to take pictures because of the cute scenery of flowers and gardens. In the evening, I finished the day by enjoying pasta and wine at an Italian restaurant in North Beach. On the last day, I walked around Golden Gate Park and looked around the Japanese garden and art museum. It was a healing space where nature and art coexisted in the city, so I felt at ease. San Francisco was a city that had the sea, hills, culture, and gourmet food. It was a short trip, but it left a deep impression and I definitely wanted to go back. #SanFranciscoTravel #GoldenGateBridge #AlcatrazIsland #Fisherman'sWharf #LombardStreet #NorthBeach #GoldenGatePark #SanFranciscoRestaurants #SanFranciscoVlog #USWestTravel #EmotionalCity #BucketListTravel
