When Somdej Phra Buddhacarya (To Phromrangsi) came to develop the temple, a road was cut through, dividing the temple into two parts: Wat Intharawihan and Wat Mai Amataros. The temple is only 7 rai in area. There is a school. It is famous for its sacred objects, namely Phra Somdej Bang Khun Phrom.
