Osaka Travel Review, Japan, a lovely city full of bright stories 🥰🇯🇵 Hello everyone! Today, Boom will tell you about my experience traveling to Osaka in Japan in a cute and cheerful way, like chatting with friends. Boom traveled during the spring in Osaka, which was the time when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. It felt so refreshing. Osaka is a city full of colors, culture, deliciousness, and the cuteness of the people. If you like to travel in a chill way and eat delicious food, this place is definitely the answer. ⸻ Day 1: Arrive at Kansai Airport, walk around Dotonbori, try takoyaki When the plane landed at Kansai International Airport, we were so excited because Osaka is famous for its delicious food and chill atmosphere. Getting from the airport to the city was very easy. We used the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service and it took us a short while to get to Namba, a very lively area of ​​Osaka. After putting our stuff away at the hotel, we quickly went for a walk at Dotonbori, a pedestrian street with the biggest and most colorful neon signs in the city. This place is full of cute restaurants and souvenir shops. A must-try is “Takoyaki”, round balls filled with squid and topped with sweet sauce and mayonnaise. It smells so good. When you bite into it, it’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The taste is so rich that you’ll have to buy it again and again. And try “Okonomiyaki”, Japanese pancakes made from vegetables and meat. It tastes salty and sweet and goes well with the shop’s special sauce. It’s so delicious that you’ll have to give it a thumbs up. ⸻ Day 2: Visit Universal Studios Japan, the theme park of dreams 🎢🎠 The next day, we had a blast at Universal Studios Japan (USJ). This is a theme park that brings together famous cartoon themes such as Harry Potter, Minions, Jurassic Park, and Super Nintendo World. The Harry Potter zone feels like you’ve really entered a magical world. There are Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade Village for you to walk around and take lots of pictures of. Don’t miss out on trying Butterbeer, a famous drink that’s sweet, fragrant, and refreshing. Then, we went to play Mario Kart at the Super Nintendo World zone. It was so exciting. It felt like we were actually racing in the game. It was so much fun that we forgot the time. There were also many other rides, both thrilling and suitable for children. Everyone in the family had fun. ⸻ Day 3: Chilling shopping at Shinsaibashi with cute cafes ☕️🛍️ Today was our favorite day because we got to chill out at Shinsaibashi, a large shopping area in the heart of Osaka. There are many fashion brands here, cute Japanese souvenir shops, including Japanese sweet shops and beautifully decorated cafes. Boom stopped at a cafe that served cute latte art in the shape of animals and flowers, along with soft and sweet cakes. It felt like we had a great rest and recharged. There were also cute shops selling household items and home decorations that we happily bought to take home. ⸻ Day 4: One-day trip to Kyoto: Fushimi Inari and Gion 🌸🎎 Osaka is very close to Kyoto, so we didn't miss out on a one-day trip to Kyoto. Start at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine with a long row of red torii gates, the atmosphere is quiet and beautiful, perfect for walking and taking pictures. Walk up the hill a little bit and you will see the most beautiful view of Kyoto. Boom felt like she absorbed the real Japanese culture from here. Then go for a walk in the Gion area, which is full of old Japanese houses. If you are lucky, you will see a geisha or maiko wearing a kimono walking by. It feels very retro. ⸻ Day 5: Explore Kuromon Ichiba Market, fresh seafood and snacks 🦐🍣 Before going back, let's take you to Kuromon Ichiba Market which is famous for fresh seafood and a variety of snacks. Here, there are grilled scallops, tempura shrimp, fresh sushi and Japanese desserts to choose from. Walk and eat, taste, and have fun. Most importantly, the prices are cute. Not too expensive, so you can try many menus to your heart's content. There is also a souvenir shop that is truly Japanese. You can also buy them as souvenirs to take home. ⸻ Tips for a super fun Osaka trip 💡 •Buy an ICOCA or Suica card for train and bus travel, it's super convenient. •Comfortable sandals or sneakers are your best friends for this trip because you'll have to walk a lot. •Download a navigation app and a translation app to make your trip much easier. •Bring your own cloth bag because Japan doesn't give out free plastic bags. •You have to try takoyaki and okonomiyaki, Osaka is really great! ⸻ Summary of my impressions 💕 Osaka is a city full of warmth, fun, and the cuteness of its people and culture.
