The evening atmosphere in Dotonbori felt like stepping into a Japanese anime, with neon lights, giant billboards like the famous crab sign and the Glico running man that everyone loves to photograph. We started with “takoyaki,” hot and crispy octopus balls from a renowned shop. The flavor was delightful, with a crispy exterior and a tender piece of octopus inside—an unforgettable first bite! Wandering around, we found shops selling fresh sushi and Japanese sweets like mochi, so delicious that we lost track of time. ⸻ Day 2: Exploring Kuromon Market, the freshest market ever! 🦀🍣 The next morning, we woke up early to visit Kuromon Ichiba Market, a famous spot for fresh seafood and local delicacies. The market was bustling with stalls displaying shrimp, crab, fish, and shellfish, with the aroma of freshly grilled seafood filling the air. We tried freshly made sushi with an impressive presentation and a sweet, refreshing taste. Another highlight was the grilled eel, which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, pairing wonderfully with Japanese rice. Besides seafood, there were colorful mochi sweets with various fillings to choose from. We ordered a hot latte and a matcha cake with a perfectly balanced sweetness—pure bliss! We started at the Harry Potter zone, which felt like stepping into the magical world with Hogwarts Castle, wizard shops, and exciting rides. Other highlights included the adorable Minions zone, the action-packed Spider-Man area, the suspenseful Jurassic Park, and the vibrant Mario zone. We had so much fun that we lost track of time, leaving us exhausted but with hearts full of joy.
