Kuroyama Sandaki 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 The falls are about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Opened as a base for mountain religious Shugendo in the Muromachi period, this popular scenic spot was introduced to Edo by Owariya Sanpei at the end of the Edo period. In 1950, it was also known for being selected as one of Japan's 100 Best Waterfalls for Tourism. There are two waterfalls, Otaki and Medaki, which fall into the Mitaki River, a tributary of the Kobe River, and Tengu Falls is located a short distance away. These three waterfalls are called Kuroyama Sandaki.
