Good places to go in January｜Castle of Burzi: a fortress built by the Venetians

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 Bourtzi Castle was carefully built by the Venetians in 1471 and is located on a small island near the port of Nafplio. The castle is very close to the pier of Nafplio, less than one kilometer away in a straight line, but because it is located on a small island, tourists need to take a boat to get there. During the off-season, boat trips may be less frequent, so visitors need to know the departure times in advance and plan accordingly. I went there during the off-season, so unfortunately I didn't wait until the boat departed and could only see this beautiful castle from a distance.
